His Toxic Addiction-Chapter 386: Memories
Chapter 386: Memories
Ghast created dark smoke, enough to cover the whole street and leave them in a world of their own as it should be.
Steacy’s body was beginning to turn limp in the air. The afterward consequences of everything, particularly if she dies did not stop him. He channeled enough power into the whisps of smoke around her neck.
His eyes divided themselves between shades of red and black as he lifted himself to the sky and mimicked her posture.
Rath had an invisible smirk at the side of his lips, enjoying the transfer of power. He could sniff the girl’s soul from where he stood and he too forgot about the consequences of their actions.
The man from behind the shadow felt his hands tremble. He tried to channel enough power to fight but wasn’t able to as things haven’t remained the same for them ever since the last battle a thousand years ago.
The other race only kept on increasing in power daily while they were being sucked dry daily. Thunder controlling was the only power they now possessed.
Steacy tightened eyelids, feeling the burns from her skin. She was unable to move or react to the strange feeling surrounding her. All she could do was watch her skin crack open and welcome the dark smoke in.
"I’m giving you five seconds to present yourself before me," Ghast ordered, his voice dark and it caused Steacy’s tears to roll off her eyes.
Her lips forcefully parted on their own accord and the dark smoke began to go into her mouth to the pit of her stomach. Her eyes widened and she asked for air but it was utterly impossible. She could only clench her fist and wait for what happens next.
She understood not a thing happening before her tonight. She did nothing wrong, she offended no one, she came from no possessed world or, could it be she was possessed and did not realize it until this late? Who were all these people and why weren’t the neighbours coming out?
The man behind the shadow clenched his fist and his hands turned snow white when he saw blood moving down Steacy’s nose from where he stood.
Ghast eyes shone when he saw her blood trickling down. He has been learning this dark magic for the longest time possible and finally, he can now have a taste of the angel souls before his master ever does, without his master having a hint about it.
Steacy blood dropped on the dark whisps of smoke around her neck. Rath’s eyes widened at the sight of what he was seeing.
The girl’s skin went back to normal but a part of her would be being pulled out. No one has the right to take the soul of an angel before their Lord.
They have been on the search for her because of their master and not their fellow demon. He flickered his finger and a swan of dark demonic bees rushed towards Ghast.
The bees gathered around Darth’s face, reducing the flow of the ritual. Ghast frowned at the betrayal. He clenched his fist together and fire clothed his whole body, turning the bees into dark liquids.
He fixed his penetrating gaze on Rath. He roared and immediately, dark wings flew out of his back. He directly charged toward Rath.
Rath wings flew out the moment he saw Ghast rushing towards him but he was too late as Ghast had already pinned him to a wall and plugged the sharp edge of his bat-like wings into Rath’s eyes.
"You are too late my brother. You forget her blood drooped on my power, even if not all. When I’m done, I’ll finish with Lord Darth and have the rest under my command," he promised as he watched his brother’s body decompose.
From where she was suspended, Steacy watched the lightning death. Her hands quivered and she begged for the whispers to come. She wanted to scream for it to come but her lips could barely part open.
Earlier she would have wanted to send the whisper away but not now. She came to realize that the whispers somehow protected her.
Ghast came back to her with a lopsided devilish grin. He looked far different from the man who tricked her mum earlier. The man standing before her was no longer human. He no longer possesses the physical appearance of a human but that of charcoal skin, two large horns on his head, two outward pointed fangs on his lips, and bat wings behind his back.
He looked all black and terrifying like the angel of death himself and the dark whisps of smoke around her neck clutched her more tight.
She needed an explanation. She can’t die or be used for whatever she wants to be used for without a reason. Again, she tried to speak and no words left her lips.
Angered, her legs began to move and her hands followed. She struggled to be set free and soon, her whole body joined.
Ghast eyes widened but he decided to play it cool. She wasn’t supposed to be able to stand his powers. She seems not to know anything about her powers so how could she be able to shake after being bonded by him?
He was greatly affected. He watched her struggle more forcefully and channeled more power into his dark force.
Ghast shut his eyes tightly and more dark smoke covered him. The floor beneath him trembled but he did not stop. Humans wouldn’t suspect a thing, the news would share another dumb news of an earthquake.
Blood streamed off Steacy’s ears and fingers as a result of the added powers. The man behind the shadow decided to risk it all.
Death for her would be far better than letting those creatures suck her soul. Seeing Ghast greatly distracted to take full possession of her rare soul, he balled his fist, creating a mighty ball.
"Arariel, No!" the lady beside him warned. fɾeeweɓnѳveɭ.com
Arariel turned deaf to her warning. He turned the ball of wind into a sword and without a second thought, he threw it towards Steacy’s back.
