Hollywood Zenith-Chapter 1260: Meeting-3
Samuel held her in her embrace. She would woke up few times throughout the hours speaking either gibberish or acting like a child who finally got her candy.
He witnessed changes in her body as it turned her previous disfigured appearance to more human but on the other hand, his condition was deteriorating rapidly.
He could feel the drain in his energy as magic reserves took many days to replenish but her injuries were too severe making it impossible for him to heal her in one setting.
By the end of it, he was slipping in and out of consciousness as his hold on her body weakened. He gritted his teeth and even used his own life energy to heal last of her injuries after which he collapsed completely.
Talia was still unaware as her own body was weak after fighting such a long battle. His powers would often use the hosts body as a conduit to heal injuries which would make both parties weak if the injuries are severe.
After four hours none of them have woke up. Ariel who was informed about not getting any reply from Talia frowned. The people that were asked to take care of her were too frightened to enter her room so they directly informed her as Samara was holed up in her room probably going over the recent readings.
She sighed and picked up the food to bring to her dorm. She hesitated not wanting to see Talia's disappointing expression which was itched in her mind from morning but she wanted to know if the other party was alright.
It was only right for her to be depressed but not eating would only harm her body especially when she was this weak.
She reached the basement and found nothing out of place. She wondered what the young man was doing, he was too confident which made her a little disappointed seeing his arrogance.
Not anyone could breach their security especially without inside help. She did offer but he was too quick to decline her good intentions.
She knocked at the door couple of time and waited for a response but none came. She didn't think Talia would harm herself after all she was strong but after hours of isolation, there was a chance of her breaking which made her a little worried about her.
After few minutes of no response, she decided to go in. She already knew the passcode. When she went inside, the room was dark and she struggled to see anything.
She reached for the panel and turned on the light only to be shocked beyond belief. One the bed she could see two people laying practically naked with their bodies tangled together.
From the white hair of the man it was clear who the other person was but Talia? She looked....normal. The bedsheet was soaked in viscous liquid making it change colour to a bright red to a dull violent.
Even without going near, she could tell what it was. The poison but when she sniffed the air, she could feel it wasn't harmful and had been neutralized?
"Fuck!" She couldn't help but curse rushing in to see the whole scene.
Talia not only recovered but her skin was illuminating, the previous dull light brown had transformed into a bright golden honey.
Her face was a little pale but she had a wide smile as she snuggled on his chest. There was no sign of disfigurment on her face. Even her bald head had a light shade of grey, which was her growing hair.
"How is this possible? This...what...who is this man?" She stumbled back barely holding herself on the table.
After confirming that she wasn't hallucinating she noticed the hole in the wall. It was the shape of a man, exactly similar to the height and build of the young man.
Did he burn through it but that.. impossible? Her mind started short circuiting seeing so many conflicting scene.

She called out to them but neither of them moved. She wanted to wake them up but she retracted her hands, she didn't know what would happen to her or what thean used to heal Talia in hours.
She knew it was better for her to post guard outside so no one would come inside. Only they could give her the answers of how the miracle happened.
She left the food on the table before leaving the room. Only then she realised that she was holding her breath, she exhaled sharply as her mind reeled. There shouldn't be people more advance than their clan.
If Rothschild had such technology than it shouldn't be coincidental. Her first thought was to suspect they had something to do with the clan's mortal enemies but through their intelligence, they knew the Rothschild forces were actively fighting their force.
A deception of that large scale would not work as there were too many moving parts and the young man didn't seem like someone who would work under anyone.
But through this, her mind led her to another possibility something even bizzare. If the Vishkanya's poison could be neutralize like common cold then there was no need for them to even continue their traditions.
Their enemies still feared them and they were a global player rivaling the richest families in the world. Everyone would bow down to them if they knew the clan's extensive history.
But the emergence of this one young man seemed to have disrupted a lot of their plans.
From Talia's first encounter to second elder being defeated as her poison becoming ineffective mid fight, these things were all in favour of the young man.
Even their superior energy rifles couldn't hurt him, was it too outrageous to think how he had the shied technology to counter their weapons?
But the main clue was his abnormal body. She shot him two days ago and he walked like nothing happened to him. It was a flesh wound but it would need time to heal. Even their best medical technology could heal people this fast.
Not to mention, him needing the samples of poison. It was the most damning evidence than he was special. The more she thought about it, the more her mind stirred with possibility. He was simply a bane to all the Vishkanyas in the world if what she understood to as true!
