(Third Person POV)

"What happened?" Alysanne asked Jaehaerys who walked inside the throne room, "Jaehaerys...."

"Drakken...." Jaehaerys said as he walked past her, "He decimated the army....he was playing around with us....it all happened so fast....he just left...."

Alysanne frowned, "Did it work?" She whispered, "Did the plan work? Do you think that those cultists actually did it?"

"I don't know." Jaehaerys said as she rubbed his temples, "Aemon and Baelon returned from Harrenhal. They were unable to get Maegelle and Saera.."

"No...." She said softly, "That cannot be....."

"Alysanne...he was alone." Jaehaerys said, "Drakken. He went against the army by himself, he was stronger than any of us could comprehend. Vermithor was useless, he was-"

Suddenly, Drakken appeared from thin and with a swift motion, he swung his throat at Alysanne, clutching it tightly. Jaehaerys widened his eyes and he was suddenly forced to his knees as Drakken glared at the Queen.

"Woman for a woman, Jaehaerys." Drakken said as he glared at Alysanne, lifting her up from the ground as she choked, "What say you? You think this is fair, right?"

"Drakken!!" Jaehaerys exclaimed, "No!! Leave her be!! She had nothing do with it!!"

Drakken tightened his grip on Alysanne's throat, the Queen's face slightly going purple as she weakly clutched his.

"N-No...." the Queen managed

"You schemed with an outside party...." Drakken said, "And plotted to have my power destroyed. I don't know how or why you would know about the Dark Shade....but instead of doing what you've planned to do, it took the life of my woman."

Jaehaerys widened his eyes, "No, what?" He said, "I did not intend to do tha-"

"SILENCE!!!!" Drakken bellowed, the entire room shaking violently, "I will take away your woman, Jaehaerys. Just like you took away mine!!"

"P-Please..." Alysanne managed

Suddenly, the doors opened and Ser Ryam and Ser Gyles burst forward.

"Your Grace!!" They drew their swords and began to charge towards Drakken

As they got closer, both of them were cut down by Drakken's Cutting Sorcery. Ser Ryam's leg was severed and he collapsed to the ground. Ser Gyle's chest was cut and his entire body was cleaved in half.

"No!" Jaehaerys shouted, "Ser Gyles!!"

As the corpse of the Kingsguard fell to the ground, Drakken squeezed the Queen's throat as he lowered her to his face.

"My Daranne is gone." He said, "What do you have to say to that?" ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom

"S-She...." Alysanne managed, "Was not our target.....you were...."

"So you had something to do with it?" Drakken said, his eyes glowing, "What do you think will happen? Do you think your daughters are safe?"

"Leave her be!" Jaehaerys shouted, "If you're going to kill someone, kill me!!"

"What would I gain from letting you live?" Drakken asked Alysanne, "Because right now, I simply want to snap your frail little neck. I want to make your life a living hell, I want to inflict pain like you've never felt. You stupid woman, I've been patient enough with you...!!!"

Drakken threw Alysanne to the ground, the Queen grunted in pain as she immediately gasped for air.

"Stupid fucking humans...." He said as he turned around, "Always thinking you can oppose me, a god!!"

Jaehaerys looked at him, "I plotted to have your power destroyed." He said, "It was to end the War, to force you to stand down! I did not mean for anyone to die."

Drakken stood before him, "Is that so?" He narrowed his eyes, "Do you truly think that would have worked?"

He grabbed Jaehaerys's hair and pulled him up, the King grimacing as he did this, "If you could at least reconsider.....I didn't care if you lost your power or not...." He said, "The whole point was to avoid disaster! Deals won't work, not anymore. Something had to be done."

"My Daranne...." Drakken said as he impaled his stomach with his hand, "Is gone...."

Jaehaerys coughed up blood as Alysanne looked up, "Aghh!"

"No!" Alysanne got up to her knees, "Jaehaerys!!"

Drakken pulled his hand out and watched as Jaehaerys collapsed to his knees, "War?" He said, "You wanted to stop the War? Well, you've done something stupid, Jaehaerys.....instead of stopping it, what do you think it achieved?"

"No..." Jaehaerys said, "I...I will tell you who was responsible...."

Drakken stomped on his leg, crushing his bones, "Oh?"

"aghhh!!" the King exclaimed in pain, "The Red Cult!!"

Drakken narrowed his eyes, "What?"

"T-They were the ones who did it...." Jaehaerys managed, "Kill me if you want, but know that they were the ones who planned everything. All I did was give them dragonfire...."

"You dare succumb yourself to the likes of zealot cultists?" Drakken said, "You disappoint me....."

"K-Kill me if you wish...." Jaehaerys closed his eyes as Alysanne held him by the shoulders, "Just do it...."

"No, don't think that way, Jaehaerys." Alysanne said with tears in her eyes

"Oh no." Drakken said as his tendrils injected into him, "I decide when you die. And you won't die until you've watched me reduce your House into nothing but ashes. You will live to hear the moans of your daughters when they share their bed with me. You both will live to see me put your sons through nothing but despair and torment. You will live to see me dismantle the Faith and bend the Realm to my will. You think you can just die and escape from the reality that is my wrath?"

Jaehaerys's wounds healed, "Aghh...." He said, "You...."

"My Wrath is not just destructive...." Drakken said, "It is cruel, manipulative, and cold. I will ensure that your suffering is not just physical, it is mental, emotional, and psychological. Mark my fucking words, Jaehaerys Targaryen....I will end you."

"What do you gain from doing this?" Alysanne asked as she shed tears, "Just what?"

"What do you gain from taking away what is mine?!" Drakken shouted, "She did nothing to you!! She did nothing but exist!! I gave her the best she could receive in her situation!! You took her away from me!!! You took a Mother from her son!! You don't deserve to live happily after that!!"

"That was not our fault...." Alysanne said softly, "It was not-"

"Quiet!!!" Drakken shouted as he glared at her, "Alyssa, Daella, and now Viserra. Those three will one day belong to the Trinity, mark my words. There is nothing but despair waiting for your Family."

"L-Leave them out of this..." Jaehaerys said

"You will need all three to replace my Daranne." Drakken said with anger in his voice, "But know this...."

"I am not done. Far from it."
