(Third Person POV)

"Perhaps this was a mistake." King Jaehaerys said, "Alysanne....."

The King and his Queen sat across from each other in his bedchambers, on opposing couches with a small table in between them. Next to Jaehaerys, Baelon and Alyssa stood, their arms crossed as they looked at their mother who was merely drinking tea.

"I wanted Maegelle to return home, even for a couple of days." The Queen said

"But in doing so, you've exposed our girls to that man." Jaehaerys said, "I do not see any good coming from this. You should be aware of what his intentions are."

"To create nothing but chaos and torment for our Family." Baelon spoke up, "I really did not see a point in this.....Mother, you are allowed to go and see her whenever you desire, why bring that monster here?!"

Alysanne gave her son a stern look, "She is your sister." She said as she set the cup down, "I wanted her to be reunited with her family. Last I checked, she did not want to be handed over as means to end a War. She deserves to be with her family. Alyssa, you would understand."

Alyssa frowned, "I do..." She said, "She is our sister, yes....but the dangers are too high. We do not know what he wants to do with that blood....we do not know what he did to Balerion either!"

Jaehaerys sighed, "For once, I agree with this one." He said as he crossed his arms, "She has a point. We do not know what he plans on doing. Everything he does is with a price, he is currently scheming. He has dealing with Dorne and with Casterly Rock. It is quite clear he is making moves."

"No matter what he does, my daughter....our daughter.....is with him. And you have promised him another one." Alysanne scowled, "And it appears that he has taken interest in the others. If Alyssa was not married, he would have taken her by now."

Alyssa shook her head, "Oh, gods no..." She shuddered, "I cannot imagine what it is like...."

"I'll rather die a million times over than ever fathom something like that." Baelon said

"He could arrange that, it seems." Alysanne said, "My point is.....no matter how hard we will try to avoid it, Drakken has a firm clutch on our Family. And all I want is to ensure that my daughter is not estranged from our Family. She made a sacrifice to save us....to save you.....the reason you, Baelon and Alyssa, are alive and raising your boy, is because Maegelle gave herself to Drakken."

Jaehaerys sighed, "That is a good point."

"Yea....well...." Baelon said

"Maegelle has a good influence on him." Alysanne said with a slight smile, "I sensed....restraint....when he showed himself to Saera and Daella."

Jaehaerys raised an eyebrow, "Is that so?"

"Yea, he was awfully calm back at the dragonpit." Baelon said, "But.....I mean, that is very strange, don't get me wrong. But I swear he is still the same as ever."

"Perhaps he changed after becoming a Father?" Alyssa suggested

"No." Jaehaerys said, "That is not the case."

"Whatever it is...so long as Maegelle is with him, Drakken will be....in a way....more gentle....well, as gentle as he could get." Alysanne said, "And I suppose we can use that. I really don't mind....I just....I just want our Family to be together....and it pains me greatly that my girl is with someone like that.....but she seems comfortable...she says she is safe.....I just....I just do not know."

"That is Maegelle..." Alyssa said with a raised eyebrow, "She has always been kind...but....Saera....?"

"Yea...." Baelon scoffed, "I wonder how that will go....."

"What do you mean?" Jaehaerys asked

"Do not play a fool, Husband." Alysanne said, "Saera is the opposite of Maegelle....she could very well spark another war worse than the one in the Riverlands. I feared that it was the case. The way she spoke to Drakken was something could have caused tragedy. But like I have said, I sensed restraint....."

"Hm...." Jaehaerys said, "What are you saying? That we can use this?"

"I believe that Saera will be fine, so long as Maegelle keeps Drakken in control." Alysanne said, "So long as she stays in House Drakkengard, we will not have to fear any ruin...at least, I hope so. Maegelle will be the key to keeping the Realm steady. Drakken has so much power....he has established to be superior to us already...but so long as Maegelle is there, we don't have to worry about any issues....."

"That is one mad way to look at it, Mother..." Baelon said as he looked around, "Where is Aemon? Why is he hiding his face? I cannot believe he would act so cowardly now of all times...."

"Enough, Baelon." Jaehaerys said, "Leave your brother be. He is with Lord Corlys, it seems."

"Hm...." Baelon said

"That Velaryon....." Alyssa said, "Is he still looking to court my sister?"

"It appears so." Jaehaerys said, "It is a tempting marriage offer, however....."

"To have an alliance with House Velaryon...."

In the Secret Gardens, Prince Aemon Targaryen watched as Corlys Velaryon was speaking to the Princess Daella Targaryen. The young princess was sitting in a bench while wearing a light blue dress, her hair was in a single braid and she wore a minimal amount of jewelry.

She had her hands on her lap as Corlys stood in front of her, telling her about his voyages at Sea. The young girl was more entranced by Corlys's hair rather than his stories, she wondered how a valyrian's white hair could be so thick and lush.

The Heir had his arms crossed as he seriously looked at the Velaryon Lord, trying his best to charm the young Princess.

"Hm...." He said as he tilted his head, seeing how Corlys inched closer to his sister

Aenys, Aemon's son, walked up to him, "Father...." He said, "What are you doing?"

"Nothing...." Aemon said, "I am simply watching your aunt getting courted."

"Oh." Aenys said, "Rhaenys is with Rhaella....they are with mother."

"That is good." Aemon said, "And you did not go with them.....wherever they are?"

"No. I wish to be with you." the boy said

"Very well...." Aemon said

Over to Corlys and Daella, the young lord was showing the Princess a gemstone he had retrieved from a pirate's treasure chest.

"The Tyroshi pirates that I fought and slayed, they had an abundance of rare gemstones." He said with a smile, "I assume that they had pillaged such treasures from somewhere in the coast of Essos...but they stood no chance against myself...."

"O-Oh..." Daella said as she leaned in closer to see the gem, "It looks pretty....."

"If you think that is pretty..." Corlys said with a chuckle, "You should see the ones on my ship. And my ship itself....it is a thing far more beautiful than you could imagine...."

"Oh? More beautiful than Silverwing?" Daella asked, "My Mother's dragon?"

Corlys looked at her with surprise, "E-Erm....well....." He said before clearing his throat, "It is no dragon..."

"Oh..." Daella said with a bit of disappointment

"But a ship is something as amazing as a dragon." Corlys said, "You would not understand unless you were atop the deck of one-"

"I doubt that." a voice said

The moment Aemon heard this voice, he froze and immediately shuddered, "C-Curses...!"

They all turned to see Drakken standing in the distance, his hands inside the pockets of his coat, his eyes had a fierce red glow to them as he smirked viciously.

Daella's eyes widened, "I-It's you...."

Aemon placed his hand in front of Aenys, "Get behind me son....."

Drakken chuckled and took a step forward, "There is many a reason why I came back to this shithole of a city...." He said as the air began to shift slightly, a strange aura being emitted from Drakken, "Balerion's blood is one of them.....pissing Jaehaerys off is another.....but most importantly....."

He looked at Aemon Targaryen,

"I wanted to check in on an old friend."
