I Am Also An Extraordinary Creature-Chapter 1934 - 1320: A New Civil War?
"These little foxes look so cute, how about giving me one?" Julie looked at the lively little foxes, feeling deeply moved.
She thought about her past and realized she had never owned a pet.
"No way." Wu Lingluo refused without hesitation.
"Why not?"
"You won’t be able to take care of it." Wu Lingluo placed the three little foxes in her arms on the ground, and they quickly ran into the house, avoiding being seen by outsiders.
Julie felt a deep sense of regret, but her attention quickly shifted to another topic: "Then in the future, will you... um, have a litter of little foxes?"
She was very curious about this and about the essence of life. Even those strong in the path of life exploration remain curious.
"Ha, that depends on the form." Wu Lingluo glanced at Julie. If someone outside their circle asked such a question, she would have slapped them straight into the next life as a demonic beast to experience it firsthand.
It was fine to discuss this with Julie out of curiosity; they hadn’t seen each other in a while, so finding a topic to catch up on seemed fitting.
In the World Tree fruit she governed, offspring of demonic beasts and the human race were not unheard of, but their nature wouldn’t differ due to her strength alone.
Whether these offspring were in human form or beast-like appearance depended largely on the mother. If the father was human, the child’s form hinges on the mother’s form at the time. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
Maintaining a demonic beast form would result in offspring that were beast-like, human form remained human form.
If the father was a demonic beast, however, the offspring would be human-shaped, bearing some beast-like features, though they wouldn’t alter the fundamental human form. They’d need to grow before changing forms on their own.
These ’half-demons’ tend to have a greater talent for transformation.
"I thought you were an exception."
"I haven’t altered the essence of my own life, so why would I be an exception?" Wu Lingluo shook her head, "Let’s head inside."
She knew why Julie and Tanshia Firlo had come, and she had awaited this day for a long time.
The Tianhe people valued Tianhe but longed to explore beyond it. Yet their power didn’t align with the New World. Leaving Tianhe meant survival challenges.
In addition, she and Zheng Yichen also had offspring. With the father absent, the mother must strive for a good environment for the children.
"Your Demon Country doesn’t have any special products." Eating the fruit from Wu Lingluo’s home, Julie glanced at a corner where three inseparable foxes were watching her quietly.
It wasn’t out of curiosity, but they seemed to be looking for her weakness, which felt rather unfriendly.
"What use is that?" Wu Lingluo retorted, considering things like Jade Dew or Dragon liver and phoenix marrow? These treasures were easy for her to get but useless to her now.
Her power was challenging to increase. All Tianhe people experience power stagnation beyond a certain level. In the Old Era, they broke through barriers to reach beyond.
New World?
From birth, one’s potential determined lifelong achievements. Tianhe people could smoothly develop to the peak of their potential, without further progress.
After reaching that peak, only the mastery of their power could improve due to the Tianhe people’s difficulty integrating into the New World.
These survivors who evaded reckoning are indeed the ’remnants,’ with individuals disrupting New World rules. Yet even the descendants of ’Tianhe Remnants’ face New World hostility.
The new-generation Tianhe people, like the remnants from the Old Era, can’t challenge the New World rules and gain no ’benefits’ from it.
Breaking through realms is mirage-like now; legendary treasures mean nothing, able to only prematurely fulfill peak potential for those not yet there.
While Tianhe people can continuously refine mastery of power, when the fundamental capabilities are insufficient, opponents leveraging sheer strength pose inescapable threats.
Enhancement requires comprehensive growth.
Without adapting power to fit the New World, Tianhe people face limitations by the new era. Despite improved mastery, stagnant power will eventually make them new world natives’ stepping stones.
"It tastes good."
"If you’re hungry long enough, even wild fruit tastes good."
Julie rolled her eyes, continuing to eat fruit at Wu Lingluo’s place. These were ordinary fruits, preserved fresh by spell.
"Enough with the small talk; the Demon Country here is already prepared." Wu Lingluo turned to serious matters.
"The Dragon Tribe is ready too, and there’s Du Gang, oh, he doesn’t need to prepare anything."
Tanshia Firlo didn’t elaborate on Du Gang’s situation. He resided now in the Wild Ancient territory. The Wild Ancient natives, fierce warriors, were seen in various Tianhe conflict zones.
The Wild Ancient territory impacted the least among the Tianhe, mainly due to their exceptional physical strength, unparalleled in power but lacking any spell or special power.
The New World hardly restricts Tianhe physical tests or primal enhancement, though many have limited physical potential.
