Chapter 87: That Bag Is A Divine Artifact?

Leo talking about Raphael sounded like a good thing, but Michael suddenly had a bad feeling about it. With Raphael’s abilities, if he wanted to make money, could he even be poor? The more he thought, the more he felt Raphael wouldn’t help Leo take those things to sell.

"Are you sure Raphael will help?"

The question hit the nail on the head, leaving Leo speechless. He lowered his head to look at his own tattered clothes, and the image of that rundown ’house’ inadvertently ran through his mind. The more he thought, the more the corners of his mouth twitched.

Iris had never heard about Raphael’s story before but could guess a little. A contractor at the demigod level being in this remote and shabby place for sure meant he was running away, not retiring.

As for who could push Raphael to this level, she could only think of one sun symbol. That place back in the day was a force established by the Sun God and has survived until now, so they must be very strong.

She was sure the Great Sun Temple still existed because occasionally her subordinates would see the corpses of a few fairly strong people with a sun emblem on their clothes.

She really couldn’t open her mouth while sleeping, but communicating through the soul was still possible. That was the privilege of the ruler of energy monsters and, of course, could only be used with nine-star energy monsters.

Low-level energy monsters have incomplete souls. Besides instincts, they have no intelligence, so there’s no way to communicate. Of course, she could still ’threaten’ them even in human form because all energy monsters in the world are afraid of her.

"Probably not... but I’ll still find a place to hide these things. Just in case one day Iris’s bag gets stolen, we’ll still have some capital left."

At this point, Leo no longer placed his trust in Raphael but was just thinking of ways to split the assets into multiple places to reduce risk.

"Pfft, ha ha ha ha..."

His ridiculous words made Iris burst out laughing, holding her stomach. It was the first time someone had talked about her getting her bag stolen.

"What are you laughing at?"

The two of them asked at the same time, their looks extremely puzzled. They both felt this worry was correct.

In the future, information about this bag will definitely leak out if Iris uses it. When that happens, the chance of it getting stolen by someone else is pretty high.

"Ha ha ha, take it and open it. You’ll understand." She spoke and then tossed the bag to Michael, leaving him stunned.

Even though he was pretty indifferent about money, the thing in his hand was no joke. This was a huge treasure, big enough for him to go claim land and become a lord.

Michael didn’t expect his hand to tremble slightly when he caught the bag. From excitement or curiosity? It was the latter because right now in his heart, he only intended to open the bag and see what else was hidden inside.

’Wait, why am I curious? I can teleport. If I can’t beat her in a fight, doesn’t mean I can’t steal.’

This extremely ’smart’ thought just flashed in his mind, making Michael feel incredibly pleased with himself. Immediately, he transformed into Master Chef form. The movement was super fast and super hasty.

Domain Expansion – Supreme Kitchen!

Right after, all you could hear was a series of clapping sounds, but Michael’s figure was nowhere to be seen.

The advantage of having six arms was huge, especially at times like this. If he only had two hands, holding the bag while clapping would be super inconvenient.

The name ’Supreme Kitchen’ was originally given by Slaughter God because of this domain’s usefulness in cooking, being able to change the positions of ingredients at will.

If he were still alive and saw Michael only using this domain to steal and run away from Dragon God, the expression on his face would probably be extremely interesting.

Leo was still thinking about where to hide this pile of treasure when he was shocked by Michael’s rash behavior. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Michael was a genie, so he definitely wouldn’t abandon him, and Iris was definitely by his side... So what the hell suddenly snapped in Michael’s brain? Had he been beaten stupid already?

"He just stole your stuff. What now?"

Michael’s ability to swap positions was way too effective when used for running away. Even if Leo and Iris tried their hardest to chase, they definitely couldn’t catch up unless Michael didn’t want to run anymore.

"Ha ha ha, I knew he would steal it."

Iris didn’t answer Leo’s question. Instead, she just stood there laughing like she was watching a funny show.

???

You just got robbed. Can’t you react a little more normally?

Looking at her confident expression, Leo understood Michael wouldn’t get anything. But the reason why made him very curious.

If there really was a way to make sure supplies couldn’t be stolen, then later when doing a revolution, they wouldn’t have to worry about enemies stealing stuff.

"What are you worried about? Isn’t he definitely coming back? Anyway, your wish hasn’t come true yet."

There were many reasons to be confident about giving valuable things to Michael. One of them was she knew for sure he wouldn’t actually run away. At most, he’d go somewhere for a few days and then come right back.

"He really won’t run forever... But what if he takes the stuff inside out and buries it somewhere?"

This question wasn’t really because Leo was worried Michael would hide something, but an excuse to ask about the source of her confidence.

"You think he can open that bag? My divine artifact, even other gods can’t use it, let alone a weakling like Michael." Iris crossed her arms, full of confidence.

"Divine artifact?"

Hearing this, Leo was stunned. Didn’t each god only have one divine artifact? If that bag was a divine artifact, then what was that spear?

"That bag can indeed be classified as a divine artifact, but it’s not like ordinary divine artifacts. It has no attack, defense, or buff capabilities for the user.

Because my old body is gone, I just asked Heaven for something to make up for it. Swapping a god-level body for the current one, no matter how you look at it, isn’t really fair."
