Chapter 490: Chapter 490 Campaign

After lunchtime, all the babies gathered in a group, sitting and standing in a messy circle on the classroom floor. The air was loud with overlapping voices, tiny arguments, and dramatic declarations, like they were running the most important election in the world instead of choosing a class representative.

"If you give me your vote, I will buy everyone snacks... very tasty snacks!" Drake said proudly, standing in the middle like a tiny leader giving a campaign speech, his chest puffed out and eyes shining like he had just invented the best idea in history.

Several babies immediately looked interested.

Sable blinked slowly.

Kelpie’s eyes sparkled for a second before he coughed and tried to look serious.

"Growl! You cannot bribe them with snacks! I will tell teacher!" Luna snapped, crossing her arms and glaring at him like a strict security officer.

Drake gasped, pointing at her in betrayal. "You are sabotaging my future!"

"Students!" Boo suddenly announced dramatically, floating higher and spinning slowly like he was giving a royal speech. "Vote for me and I will tell my Ghost Tower sponsor to give toys to everyone. Big toys. Expensive toys. Maybe glowing toys."

Kelpie made a tiny excited sound before quickly pretending he did not.

Rocky just stared like his brain was still processing what was happening.

"No," Vlad Jr. said calmly, stepping forward with perfect posture, hands behind his back like a tiny noble. "Vote for me. I will take responsibility for the classroom properly and with discipline."

There was a small silence.

Boo leaned toward Drake and whispered loudly, "He sounds like homework."

Drake nodded seriously. "Very dangerous."

Meanwhile, Rocky and Kelpie slowly looked at each other.

"Can we go play now?" Kelpie whispered, his eyes already drifting toward the door.

Rocky nodded instantly. "Yes. This is very... noisy."

Felix looked like he was ready to leave this world peacefully. He had already tried to step away twice, but Sable was holding one side of his sleeve absentmindedly and Lucien was holding his hand.

Felix sighed deeply. "I don’t even want power," he muttered. "I just want a quiet life."

Sable looked up at him innocently. "But you are here."

"That is exactly my problem," Felix said.

Lucien stood beside them, watching the chaos with calm crimson eyes, looking like he was studying a science experiment instead of classmates fighting over imaginary authority.

In front of them, Drake and Boo had now started arguing louder.

"Snacks are better!"

"Toys are forever!"

"Snacks are emotional happiness!"

"Toys are financial future!"

"What is a financial future?" Luna snapped, trying to push them apart.

Vlad Jr. quietly stepped aside, looking like a tiny disappointed prince observing uncivilized society.

Kelpie tugged Rocky’s sleeve again. "If we walk very slowly... maybe no one will notice..."

Rocky nodded seriously. "Yes. Stealth."

They took one small step.

"WHERE ARE YOU GOING?" Drake shouted immediately.

Both froze like statues.

Felix closed his eyes. "We are never escaping," he whispered in defeat.

And the argument immediately resumed like nothing had happened.

Their argument slowly turned into complete, dramatic chaos, the kind that only small children with very strong opinions and zero self control could create.

Drake climbed onto a chair like it was a royal stage, his little shoes squeaking as he tried to balance, spreading his arms wide as if addressing an entire kingdom. "LISTEN EVERYONE," he declared loudly, cheeks puffed with importance. "If I become CR, snack day will become snack life. Morning snack. Lunch snack. Evening snack. Emergency snack." If one snack did not work, offer more snacks, Drake thought, grinning.

Several babies gasped in awe.

Boo floated higher immediately, refusing to lose. "That is low level offer," he announced dramatically, flipping once in the air. "If you vote for me, I will arrange haunted sleepover events. With spooky lights. And floating cookies. And maybe invisible pudding."

Kelpie’s jaw dropped. "Invisible pudding?" he whispered like he had just heard forbidden knowledge.

Luna smacked both hands on a desk. "YOU CANNOT RUN CLASS LIKE SNACK SHOP OR GHOST HOTEL," she growled, ears twitching. "If I am CR, I will make sure everyone follows rules. No cheating. No hiding homework. No biting classmates unless emergency."

Drake pointed. "You always say biting is emergency."

"Because it is sometimes," Luna said firmly, refusing to back down.

Meanwhile, Vlad Jr. stepped forward again, calm and composed, dusting imaginary lint off his sleeve like he was already tired of them. "While you all are planning chaos, I will be ensuring dignity, structure, and academic excellence."

Boo leaned to Drake and whispered loudly, "He definitely schedules fun."

Drake nodded. "Yes. Scheduled fun is not real fun."

Across the room, Rocky had quietly sat down on the floor, hugging his bag protectively like elections were dangerous natural disasters. Kelpie sat beside him, whispering commentary like they were watching live drama.

"Drake is winning snack voters," Kelpie whispered.

"Yes," Rocky whispered back. "But Boo has ghost luxury package."

Felix was sitting against the wall, staring at the ceiling like he was reconsidering every life choice that brought him here. Sable sat beside him, chewing his finger thoughtfully, while Lucien stood near them, arms folded, watching the entire situation with the same serious expression he used when studying complex magic patterns.

In the center, Drake and Boo had now started arguing directly face to face, or face to floating face.

"You cannot promise haunted events. That is dangerous."

"You cannot promise unlimited snacks. That is financial collapse."

"I WILL FIND SNACK BUDGET!"

"I WILL FIND SPONSOR!"

"You already have sponsor!" Drake shouted.

Boo gasped dramatically. "That is confidential information!"

Luna growled louder, trying to pull them apart, while Vlad Jr. pressed his fingers to his temple like he was developing a headache.

"THIS IS WHY CLASS NEEDS ORDER," he said sharply, though no one was listening anymore.

At the edge of the group, Felix slowly tried to stand up again, inching toward the door like a prisoner escaping quietly.

Lucien caught his sleeve without even looking at him.

Felix sighed so deeply his shoulders dropped. "You are all very loyal friends," he said tiredly. "And I am trapped."
