I Became the Lust God After the Apocalypse-Chapter 21: Super humans
The next day...
Lucien woke up, but Mai was gone from his bed.
Checking the slave map, Lucien found that she was still within the shelter, so he didn’t care.
"Damn..." Lucien groaned as he stood up, wearing only his lower underwear.
Yesterday, they had gone at it nonstop, having sex in different positions until morning.
Lucien walked to the window. The same green clouds still covered the sky, a dangerous reminder that the world had ended or evolved, depending on how one looked at it.
Lucien clenched his fist as he felt the power surging within him.
The limit of a Beginner-Level Awakener.
At his current strength, Lucien was probably capable of taking on half or even an entire fully armed battalion of soldiers and winning.
He was that strong.
But even so, after hearing the missions the system had given him, Lucien felt he was still lacking.
Although there were around five different missions, they all eventually connected back to a single core goal.
Lucien had to expand to city level, break through to a One-Star Awakener, and completely control this city.
It sounded easy.
But in reality, the area they had searched so far was only within a five-kilometer radius.
Imagine if an elite zombie was hiding within that range.
A city like this spanned roughly fifty square kilometers, which meant there were probably eight or nine more elite zombies out there not to mention the looming threat of a half step One-Star zombie.
Everything seemed to be going well on the surface, but Lucien was actually standing on the edge.
This was the very beginning of the apocalypse, the hardest phase yet also the best opportunity to grow.
Lucien had a system and had already awakened. Everyone else was still close in strength. No one was massively ahead yet.
Within the first three months, people were still relatively equal, with only small gaps based on how quickly they awakened.
But after that...
Especially half a year from now.
Lucien was certain that mighty cities would have formed, terrifying awakeners would be born, and many of today’s mysteries would be uncovered.
"Argh... I still owe the system 12,000 SP," Lucien muttered.
But as long as he completed the missions, he should eventually be able to pay it back.
"Stat."

Skills: Eyes of Desire, Appraisal
Luck: 30
Sexual Points: 3,587
---
"Eh—holy shit..."
Lucien’s mouth fell open as he stared at his Sexual Points.
An increase of nearly a thousand?
Was this the benefit of letting the female take the lead?
Lucien felt as though his perspective had widened.
If he wanted to conquer female awakeners in the future, he couldn’t rely on force alone.
He had to conquer their hearts as well.
"What a headache..." Lucien muttered as he looked back over the shelter.
The industrial factory had many high-level rooms where Lucien and the other council members lived.
As for the residents, within just one week, they had built a settlement using tents, iron, wood, and whatever materials they could find.
"Better than a week ago," Lucien said quietly as his gaze landed on a boy working silently.
"Leader, it’s Jeff. I have urgent news."
Just as Lucien was thinking about what to do next and how things would progress, a familiar voice rang out.
"Ah, come in," Lucien said with a small laugh.
Click.
The door opened as Jeff entered.
"Take a seat. Let’s talk," Lucien said as he walked to a nearby desk and sat down.
Jeff nodded and sat across from him.
"Leader, it’s about the integration of the five awakeners into the army," Jeff said excitedly.
"It went perfectly and even boosted army morale. Some people even wanted to join, but I rejected them."
"Good, good. For now, cutting off new admissions was the right call," Lucien said with a chuckle.
"When we expand and absorb more residents, we’ll reconsider."
Jeff nodded, smiling.
"There are a few other things mostly basic matters. Should I still report them?" Jeff asked.
"Go ahead. I can assess a few things from it," Lucien replied, and Jeff grinned.
"That’s good then."
"So, the exploration team found—" Jeff began, recounting the latest developments.
From food supplies to zombie swarm encounters.
Lucien listened at first until his thoughts slowly drifted away.
Even with awakeners now present, they would always be rare.
If awakeners were scarce...
Couldn’t Lucien still create an army without them?
Lucien opened the system mall.
Everything was expensive.
Most items cost at least 10,000 SP, while even defective items cost 5,000 SP.
He only had a little over 3,000 SP.
At some point, Lucien nearly gave up.
He was tired of searching and finding no answers.
But just as he was about to quit, something caught the corner of his eye.
---
[Top-Level Evolution Potion]
Rarity: Rank 0
Effect: Forces mortal evolution.
Physical abilities ×5.
Adaptability increased.
Survival instincts enhanced.
Cost: 3,000 SP
---
This was it.
This was exactly what Lucien needed.
He felt excited but when he checked his balance again, his excitement dulled.
If he spent the 3,000 SP, he’d be completely broke.
Still, this potion was worth it.
All he had to do was distribute it to the masses though the effects would weaken depending on how many people shared it.
Just as Lucien finished reading, Jeff completed his report.
"And that’s all for now, Leader," Jeff said with a small smile.
Lucien snapped back to reality.
"Ah, yes. Good job, Jeff. You’re one of a kind," Lucien said.
"If I hadn’t met you earlier, I’d think you were a legendary general from ancient times."
Jeff laughed.
"I’m honored by the praise, Leader," he replied.
Lucien nodded.
"Well, Jeff... I think I might have a solution to that problem," Lucien said with a mischievous smirk.
Jeff’s interest was instantly piqued as he leaned forward.
"And what would that be, Leader?" Jeff asked.
"Jeff, I can enhance normal humans," Lucien said calmly.
"Not to the level of awakeners but at least five times stronger than an ordinary human."
Boom.
Jeff felt shaken.
Five times the strength of a normal human.
It sounded terrifying.
But then again, this was a world of evolving zombies and awakeners.
What else could truly shock them anymore?
"Leader, that’s incredible news," Jeff said excitedly.
"Should I gather everyone together?"
Lucien nodded.
"Yes. Do so. Also call Daemon and come with him in an hour."
"Yes, Leader. I won’t let you down," Jeff said, saluting before leaving.
As soon as Jeff stepped outside, his mind filled with questions especially one.
"Where did Lucien get the power to turn normal humans into superhumans...?"
Jeff glanced back at the door, his expression filled with awe and unease.
