Swoosh!

Shadow spread on the ground, covering half of a grassy plain, following which spike jutted out and coiled like a cluster of serpents, stabbing into a seated individual.

Each shadow spike possessed enough power to puncture through a mountain instantly, with the inner walls of the punctured tunnel being smooth like butter. It was a show of the sheer, undeniable piercing power.

But strangely, the seated man didn't even bat an eye as he simply blinked once, watching the shadow spikes stab into him and stop, unable to pierce even a millimetre through his skin.

"H-How is this possible?" The Saint of the God of Rain stared in absolute horror. Every single shadow spike possessed enough power to wound even a Deity. And here, there were hundreds stabbing into the target.

What was even more unbelievable was how they failed to even scratch the opponent, "H-How can someone this absurd exist?"

"How many believers would one need to attain such power? Are there even so many believers to facilitate something of such a scale?" The Saint of the God of Rain was tethering on the brink of sanity.

Observing through her was the God of Rain, her expression solemn, 'So, this is the entity said to be the Ruler of Deities,'

"The God King!"

"Is this the extent of your power, Compass?" Arnark yawned as he casually swiped his hand and shattered all the shadowy spikes, "Honestly, it's such a disappointment."

"Is that so?" Compass Carburettor didn't express any change in expression as he snapped his finger, causing the shadow on the ground to wriggle as this time, dozens of humanoid creatures sprang out. They all resembled him in appearance, but sported shadowy forms.

With a start, the shadowy figures rushed at Arnark, condensing weapons of all shapes and forms.

The first of them was a figure holding a large hammer. It leaped into the air and rushed at Arnark, slamming his head from above.

In response, Arnark's eyes gazed upwards as he extended a finger, stopping the attack that resulted in terrifying shockwaves that sent all the other shadowy figures flying out. "Well, it's underwhelmingly decent."

He huffed his chest and blew out, vaporising the shadowy figure as the resultant from his attacks wiped out all the shadowy figures in the range. Moreover, a portion of the domain belonging to the God of Humanity was damaged, with the layer of shadow on it being wiped clean, revealing the green grass underneath.

"They aren't even in the same dimension of strength." Yedu frowned, sighing as it sensed the Curse of Faith in its power. It had already taken action, but had yet to finish the process. So, the Beast God was still free.

It, along with the four other divine beasts intended to decide the course of their actions based on how the fight proceeded. Originally, they thought the fight would pan out evenly for the major parts. But never had they ever expected for there to be such glaring differences.

The God of Humanity was no match for the God King.

"No, don't write him off so quickly." Suddenly, the divine tiger, part of the five among the divine beasts spoke, "Remember the feats the humans performed through his blessings. The God of Humanity has yet to exhibit any of that. He's just using his shadow."

The five divine beasts that had gathered to control the Beast King had called forth a summons, sending their respective Apostles to a common gathering spot. And through the Apostles, they communicated.

"I know, but even if he were to use everything, he won't be the God King's match." Yedu retorted, "The God King isn't even using any strength."

"He's just toying with the opponent."

Boom!

Arnark snapped his finger and produced a shockwave, annihilating a group of shadowy figures as he stared at Compass Carburettor, "You have a better plan than swarming me with clones?"

"Why are you in a hurry to die, Arnark?" Compass Carburettor still maintained his poker face, "I'm just using a fraction of the faith I'm receiving every moment, you see."

"That so?" Arnark tilted his head as suddenly, his figure swerved through the group of shadowy clones, popping them all like balloons as he flickered before Compass Carburettor, clenching his hand into a fist as he punched forth.

Energy circulated through his fist and slammed out, destroying everything in its path as the resultant of the power slammed into the barrier, cracking it instantly, alarming the spectating Saints.

'S-Strong!' Yaeha tumbled to the ground, staring at the massive crack on the barrier. It had happened close to its location, terrifying it. As for the Saint directly in the line of attack, they had fainted for a couple of seconds before the Deity backing them forcefully awakened them.

Arnark was in the pose of an extended punch, pausing as his voice resounded slowly, "Instead of the God of Humanity, you should become the God of Rats instead."

He stared at his feet, observing that the ground had become his domain, when originally, it was supposed to be the domain of the God of Humanity. He turned around and stared at the figure of Compass Carburettor who had transformed into Pneua for a moment, observing that in that fraction of a second, he swapped his domains while evading the attack.

"Now, now, take a clearer look at your feet." Compass Carburettor pointed at Arnark's feet, "I left you a gift, a pleasant one."

Saying so, he transformed into Pneua as the domain of the God of Humanity shrunk like ink and covered his body, following which he drilled a hole into the ground and vanished.

Arnark's eyes moved to stare at the location Compass Carburettor had pointed at, observing a tiny sphere half embedded into the ground, only the size of a thumb. He frowned as his vision morphed, seeing through the sphere to stare at twenty-four rings embedded within, forming a cluster, with each sporting slightly varying radii. And spinning within all was a particle approaching the speed of light.

It was actually mass extracted from a supernova, and when all twenty-four of them attained a certain kinetic energy level, the rings collapsed, resulting in a fusion-fission reaction.

The region lost all semblance of colour, turning white as Arnark stared at the miniature star's collapse, one that engulfed everything.
