I Have A Baby From My Ex-Husband's Enemy-Chapter 150: Forgive Me
Vasco was shocked when he saw his wife in front of him today. He did not expect that after almost more than 20 years he had not seen Dasha at all but now he could see her again.
Neither did she, who did not expect to see Vasco again at this time.
"Vasco? What are you... Why are you here too?" asked Dasha incredulously when she saw the man.
It had been a long time since they last met, but Dasha still remembered the face of the man she loved so much. Even though her heart was hurt because of what had happened between them, she still had feelings for him.
And her decision at that time to leave Vasco is sometimes regretted because every day she remembers him. Missing his touch, missing the man who had always been there for her especially since she had to raise their two children without him.
All of this was because she was carried away by anger, as well as disappointment that eventually led her to leave Vasco and their children without thinking about the risks afterward.
Because of her, their two children have to live without a father and are also in trouble because she can only open a noodle shop to support them and they even have to live in a very small place when they should be able to live in a big mansion.
"Dasha, My Love. I can finally see you again," Vasco said, standing up from where he was kneeling before her.
But when he was about to take her hand, he was very hesitant because he still felt guilty about what happened in the past. He was worried that if he touched Dasha’s hand, she would be angry with him again and not want to see him.
He pulled his hand away, feeling unable to be near her. Vasco brushed his hair back with his hand and sighed.
"Did you guys plan all this? Why did you have to do it?" he asked.
"We just want mom and dad back together. That evil woman is gone! There’s no reason for you to split up because what you did wasn’t entirely your fault either!" said Odelia.
"Did you know about this?" Dasha asked her daughter.
Odelia admitted that she had known everything since a few months ago. But she deliberately did not tell her mother about it. She and Samuel had planned for the two of them to meet again. Fixing what happened in the past because they believe their father and mother still love each other.
"Love? I never stopped loving your mother, she was a wonderful woman and accepted my life just as Megan accepted yours Samuel. She’s a wonderful woman, and there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about her," Vasco said then turned to Dasha who was still silently looking at him.
She felt the same way, it was hard for her to forget Vasco because she had always loved him. But she did not dare to go back after what she told her husband decades ago.
"You should not have done this. This will make your mother uncomfortable with my presence here. I’d rather stay at the hotel," he said and picked up his suitcase again, intending to leave the place.
Odelia and Samuel exchanged glances, intending to go after their father but Dasha stopped them. She stood right in front of Vasco and held his hand.
His heart was beating fast when he felt the soft touch of his wife. Even though he felt rough skin. But he knew that Dasha was doing hard work to support their two children alone.
"You don’t have to go. I know what the kids did was very sudden because I was also surprised by what I saw today. But as long as you know I’ve always wanted to see you again," she said.
"Really?"
She nodded her head and admitted her feelings for Vasco. Her fear of seeing him again and the disappointment she felt. At the same time she told him how she felt for him.
The devastation of seeing her leave him with their two children and not even allowing him to be in their lives.
"Since then I felt like my world had stopped spinning, until finally Samuel came and I felt alive again plus not long ago I just met Odelia and my granddaughter Carmelia. I couldn’t ask for anything more even when I finally got to meet you, I feel like I should be able to die in peace now," Vasco said, expressing all his feelings to Dasha.
Dasha walked closer to him and grasped his hand tightly. "Don’t die without me. I want you to live with me forever. I’m sorry that I was so carried away by my anger that I had to make you suffer like that. I’m really sorry."
But he shook his head, saying it wasn’t her fault because what happened was beyond their predictions. He should have said this from the start before the sudden arrival of a woman carrying a child that turned out to be Vasco’s kid.
"Now she is no longer in our mansion. So come back, come back to live with me and we’ll make up for the 20 years we’ve missed together," he said as he pulled Dasha into his arms.
He felt like it was a dream to be able to hug her back, and so did she who immediately buried her face and cried in his arms.
Seeing their parents finally back together, Odelia and Samuel felt very relieved that their family was now whole again. It was a sight they had seen for the first time, and it made Odelia cry with emotion.
"Why are you crying too? Come here, you two," Vasco said as he spread his arms to invite his two children to hug them.
Samuel and Odelia finally hugged their parents and they were very happy to be together again.
Sean and Megan, who witnessed this, could only smile emotionally.
"I miss mom and dad," she said quietly while leaning on Sean.
He kissed his sister’s forehead, saying that he missed them too.
Dasha, who knew about it, without saying anything, immediately pulled the two of them to come with them.
"You have become part of our family too, we are your parents too. We may not be able to replace and will never be able to replace your biological parents but we will love you like our own children."
