I Have a Wealth Gathering Array-Chapter 404: It’s Not Easy—Finally Found a Way to Lose Money
There aren’t many items in the antique market worth three hundred thousand, and most of them are genuine.
Losing three hundred thousand now? That’s quite difficult.
So, Qin Yun couldn’t keep playing and wasting time.
Amidst the envy of everyone, he quickly left the place.
"Where should I go next to lose money?" Qin Yun mused as he walked down the street.
"Should I try stone betting?"
Apart from the possibility of instant wealth at the antique street, the other option was stone betting, where you can’t see anything inside the stone; some stones have nothing, while others have jade inside.
One slice to heaven, one slice to hell.
"It should be easy to lose money there, right?"
Qin Yun thought for a moment and, without wasting time, quickly headed there.
...
"It turned green! It turned green!"
"A small stone worth ten thousand actually turned green."
"Young man, I’ll offer two hundred thousand, sell these to me."
"Two hundred thousand and you want to buy these? I’ll offer two hundred fifty thousand!"
In the stone betting market, the crowd was excitedly discussing, looking at Qin Yun with envy.
At this moment, Qin Yun was like: "???"
This time, he was cautious, carefully choosing a stone unlikely to turn green, yet reality gave him another lesson.
"I really just want to lose money! Why can’t I lose it?"
Looking at the stone in front of him, Qin Yun felt like crying without tears.
In fact, with his current luck, it’s not a 100% winning rate; buying antiques or stone betting could still result in a complete loss.
But, by coincidence, these two times, he happened to make a profit.
Qin Yun found this quite speechless.
"Are the opportunities in antiques and stone betting used up? How do I lose money now?"
Wealth usually comes from hitting the lottery jackpot, fishing a big leak in antiques, or striking it rich with stones; none of these work for Qin Yun now.
And now, trying to buy wholesale and sell?
With his current financial luck, opening any store would likely be booming with business, making it hard to lose money.
Unless he opens a shop in the desert where there’s definitely no one around.
However, knowing the nature of the system, a meteorite might just fall on the desert, attracting people for research, and then his shop would thrive again.
This is quite possible.
"I’m not used to physical shops; as for online stores, without any promotion, there’s a chance of a loss."
Qin Yun mused, "But losing money this way would take a really long time."
Wanting an online store to lose ten thousand, the cycle is too long; Qin Yun can’t wait that long.
Walking down the street, ideas spun in Qin Yun’s mind. He suddenly realized he didn’t know what to do next.
Doing business himself, he’d surely make a profit. He couldn’t afford to lose a lot by buying lottery tickets and such, so how could he lose?
Directly giving money away, that wouldn’t be called losing money; it’s called spending.
Silenly pondering, Qin Yun arrived at a place and suddenly noticed someone watching Douyin absentmindedly.
On Douyin, someone was playing a marble game.
It was a curved surface with a nailing spot at the front; pulling it once would launch a ball, rolling along the arc and, after hitting the nail, rolling downwards into a grid, each corresponding to different amounts of money.
Which grid the ball lands in determines how much money is earned.
This was something common over a decade ago; who would’ve thought someone still did this now.
"I can tell the boss is cheating."
"Yes, he must have some switch or remote control, even if his hand doesn’t touch it, he might have some remote device to control it from afar, maybe even among the crowd."
Looking at the video, two people were discussing.
In the past, the usual tactic for bosses in such games was to control a small bulge along the path between the marble and the nail.
Letting people play for free could let the ball roll into the grid, but once real money was involved, the ball would always bounce back along the path.
Of course, once this tactic was exposed, those bosses likely thought of other tricks.
Glancing at it, Qin Yun suddenly had an idea.
"Right, I may possess unparalleled fortune, but it doesn’t affect others’ fortunes. What if I set up one of these marble games?"
His abundant fortune attracted others to what he sold, causing items to sell quickly, thereby accumulating more wealth.
But this fortune’s influence was on him; it didn’t affect others.
If it were a marble game, even if he set it up, others’ marbles couldn’t miss the slots just because of him, right?
To keep it simple, if both he and others bought lottery tickets, his outcome wouldn’t affect others’ chances of winning.
Just because he bought a ticket, doesn’t mean those around him would also miss out.
That falls under the domain of the Wealth Dispersal Array.
According to the system, the Wealth Gathering Array has no influence on others’ financial fortunes, only the Wealth Dispersal Array could.
Thinking about this, Qin Yun suddenly got excited, feeling this loss-making plan was feasible!
In reality, making one of these marble games wasn’t that hard; Qin Yun found a wood shop and quickly had one made.
After making it, Qin Yun took some money, set up a QR code, found a spot, and started setting up his stall.
"Hey, someone’s doing a marble game here."
"Looks fake at first glance; don’t try it, or you’ll be scammed out of your money, not even knowing how it happened."
Seeing the situation, some people were talking about it.
But some did approach.
"Boss, how do you play this?" a young man asked.
"Ten yuan per try," Qin Yun replied.
His board had four grids marked with 10 yuan, 20 yuan, 50 yuan, and 100 yuan.
This was similar to other street marble games in terms of amounts.
If he marked something like 10,000 yuan, where one can pay 10 yuan to play once, and if they scored it, they’d walk away with 10,000 yuan; that would be too outrageous.
Earlier, he had checked with the system, which deemed such scenarios invalid, as it’s clearly giving money away.
But these amounts were valid, without issues. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
"Can I give it a try?" the young man asked.
"Sure," Qin Yun nodded.
Then, the young man tried twice; one time the ball went into the fifty yuan slot, and the other attempt didn’t launch properly.
"I’ll spend ten yuan for a try, and keep your hand off the device, and let me see your hands, in case you’re using a remote control or something," the young man said cautiously, inspecting Qin Yun’s marble game setup for any loopholes and telling Qin Yun to keep his distance from it.
"Okay," Qin Yun nodded, putting both hands in plain view.
