I Just Want to Farm, But My Beasts Keep Evolving!!-Chapter 57: Isadora Sol
Raiden sat in his seat, his face filled with shame.
In front of him sat Morgana with a wary look on her face, giving him a look as if she was looking at the biggest degenerate in the world.
Near her sat an identical-looking woman, just looking much more mature. Wearing a sleeveless black dress that ended at her thighs, with black stockings and red high heels, she looked like an upgraded future model of Morgana in every single way.
Not far away, stood Yuna and Old Man Sol with a dark look on his face.
"You brat, you dare to covet my daughter-in-law?? I think you have lived for too long already!" The old man glared at Raiden, looking like he wanted to eat him alive, while the woman in question just laughed softly.
"Now now, grandfather. It’s just teenagers and their hormones. I don’t really mind it. In fact, I am quite interested in this young boy." The woman gave a not-so-subtle wink to Raiden in front of everyone, making him blush a little.
’What a disaster. How can I blurt out my mind just like that. Never again! Women are my enemies. Got to stay away from them. They will just affect my speed of training Terrans.’
"Let me introduce myself. I am Isadora Sol, mother of Morgana, and Vice President at the Alliance. Nice to meet you, boy, ~" The woman leaned forward and introduced herself, appearing to get too close to Raiden for his comfort.
"Mom, stop it! Back, get back! You can’t do this!!" Morgana snapped, getting up and pulling her mom back to her seat, standing between her and Raiden.
"Ara, why dear? What have I done?" Isadora asked with an innocent expression.
"Whatever you are doing, stop it!! Anyways, are you the one who is going to train us?" Morgana asked.
Hearing this question, Isadora stopped and settled back into the chair, looking indolent as she crossed her legs.
"Yes, dear, I am the one who is going to train you. Better be ready, I will forget all about the mother-daughter relationship during this time." She spoke with a smile on her face, which looked a little scary to Morgana.
"Raiden~, was it? I am going to give you 4 hours to get everything sorted. After that, you will go into the closed-door training whether you want it or not. So I suggest you go and settle your affairs." Isadora addressed Raiden before stretching lazily, making the outline of her body very visible before leaving the room directly, not giving a gawking Raiden any chance to say anything.
"I will see you both later, children, good luck." Gina waved her hand as she stepped out with the president, who just nodded at both before leaving directly. Seeing them leave, Morgana also hurried after them to catch up, not saying anything to Raiden.
Just as Yuna was about to leave, too, Raiden called her out hurriedly.
"Miss Yuna, wait a minute!!"
"Hmm?" Yuna stopped and turned around to stare at Raiden.
"I have a favour to ask of you, can you please help me?"
"What is it, brat? Let me tell you, you may have proved yourself as someone who is not completely useless, but I still don’t trust a pervert like you." Yuna narrowed her eyes, looking at him as if he were some sort of criminal.
Raiden wanted to refute and say he wasn’t a pervert, but the words died in his throat. He remembered the words he shouted earlier and figured he wouldn’t be able to clear his name anyway.
"My favour has nothing to do with me, but my sister." This grabbed Yuna’s attention as she walked back towards him, giving him an evil side eye.
"Speak then, what is it? What do you want?" Yuna demanded impatiently.
"Well, I am actually worried about her. Or more precisely, I am worried about Jacob and his father. I am afraid he might not be able to harm me and will go after my family instead." Raiden voiced his concerns.
"Huh, is that so? Don’t worry about that, brat. I already had one of my Terrans permanently protecting her round the clock ever since that happened. So nobody can ever dare to harm a single hair on her head. Don’t tell her that, though. I don’t want her to get complacent." Hearing this, Raiden fell silent.
He was surprised at how much Yuna cared for his little sister, going so far as to ask her own Terran to protect her. He wasn’t worried about himself. He knew he could rely on the Alliance for protection for the next period of time, and this initial time was more than enough for him to grow up.
Now hearing that his little sister’s safety is guaranteed, he was left relieved.
Seeing Raiden care so much about his sister, a rare look of hesitation came over Yuna’s face. After what seemed like a great internal debate, she finally opened her mouth:
"Do you want me to send a Terra Beast to protect you during this period of time?" She asked with great reluctance in her voice. But it was Sylvia’s brother after all; he needed to be protected.
Hearing this, Raiden was surprised. A second later, he chuckled as he replied,
"Thank you for your kind thoughts, Miss Yuna, but it’s not necessary. I am going to be spending most of my time at the Alliance. I don’t think anyone will dare to do anything to me at that time."
Hearing this, Yuna fell into a thought for a second before she nodded.
"Alright, do as you wish. I am going to leave. I am looking forward to the waves you will create in the capital, see ya." With a final wave of her hands, Yuna vanished, leaving Raiden all alone.
Seeing the empty conference room, Raiden relaxed as he started thinking about the future moves he could take.
He started thinking about what needed to be done in the next four hours, only to be interrupted by a phone call.
He pulled it out to see Sarah calling him.
"Hello?"
"Raiden, what did you do?! I need urgent help!!"
