I Just Want to Farm, But My Beasts Keep Evolving!!-Chapter 58: A Fierce Debt Collector!!
Raiden arrived as quickly as he could outside the newly decorated shop, only to find it filled with people to the brim.
The shop looked much different from what it did a month ago, looking brand new in a golden and teal coloured scheme, with a new signboard that read: SARAH AND WOOLIE TEXTILES!
"Hey guys, look!! It’s the champion and Emperor Woolie!!" A random guy shouted, drawing the attention of everyone.
Raiden just smiled and nodded towards the crowd before he ignored them as he rushed inside the shop.
The inside of the shop had been changed significantly, too. Gone were the narrow single-person corridor and endless fabric, with the shop filled with multiple mannequins of guys and girls, wearing different kinds of luxury clothing.
The whole shop had gotten a complete makeover, with golden and dark green colours replacing most of the interior and replacing the long table that stretched from one end to the other. Instead, the walls of the shop were filled with different kinds of paintings and portraits, as well as various luxury decorations with chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, illuminating the whole shop.
Halfway through, inside the shop was a counter, where Raiden found Sarah, looking extremely busy as she handled all the new clients.
Her eyes lit up as soon as she spotted Raiden, waving at him frantically.
"Raiden, over here, come quick!!" Raiden arrived quickly, only for Sarah to grab him and put him behind the counter.
"I really need to take care of other customers, look after them for me." Sarah handed a paper to him before she dashed off, leaving Raiden alone standing there awkwardly.
Raiden, who was left alone, didn’t know what to do with the people in front of him.
"You are Raiden, right?! I am a big fan!!" The guy in front of him called out, adoration in his eyes.
"Thank you, thank you. It’s nice to meet you, man! Are you also here to get a special fit for yourself? Let me tell you, you won’t be disappointed. The person who will design your clothes, Sarah, she is actually a national award winner and a PhD in..." Raiden chatted with the customer as he quickly got into the role.
Thankfully, Sarah had left a slip of paper before leaving, writing all the instructions and what questions he needed to ask from each customer.
Just like that, the next hour or two passed away, as both Raiden and Sarah worked through all the current customers.
As soon as the last one left, Sarah quickly flipped the signboard and locked the door, closing the door before falling down on the floor.
"Phew, your idea was really successful. We got tons of customers today!! I am fully booked for the next two weeks. I don’t think I have sufficient raw material or energy to handle all the orders myself." Sarah complained. But despite all that, there was a never-ending smile on her face as she spoke.
"I didn’t do much. It was your clothes design, along with awards and craft, which got people to order, and what will turn these people into repeat customers." Raiden flattered her.
"Enough with the polite talk, brat. We are in this together, or did you forget? You own 51% of the shop now!! You can’t back off or run from the responsibility. Quickly help me think of a way, and find a place where I can get more quality raw materials and Seamstresses who can help me make clothes." Sarah spoke as she recalled the scene that happened a week or two ago.
This little guy proposed to buy half of her shop, getting into a partnership with her. Using his own money, he changed the complete look of the shop, and did away with the old business model, and used the new one of selling the final products of bespoke clothes only, using himself as the marketing material.
And from the results today, it looked like it was greatly successful; she just didn’t know how long it would last. She told him about her worries.
"Oh, that? Don’t worry about that. The footfall of people won’t be slowing down anytime soon. If anything, it’ll only increase much more after ten days. Here, call this number, say I am the one who gave it to you. She’ll help you find all the talent and materials you need. I hope you will prepare for early for the massive traffic ten days later." Raiden handed her Maple’s contract number.
Including the renovation of the shop and other stuff, he already owed her too many favours; one more didn’t count. He was sure she would be able to help Sarah with everything.
"You seem to be in a hurry?" Sarah noticed the look of hurry on his face.
"Yes, that. I need to take care of some things soon. Alliance is going to take me away for some closed-door training for the tournament. I don’t have much time to waste. You can get more raw materials from my farm. You know the location. You’ll find my little sister there. I need to go now." Raiden spoke with an urgent expression.
"Alright, alright, go do what you have to do, boy. Good luck. I will be rooting for you~!" Sarah waved her hands at him as he nodded and stepped out, going to meet his sister.
Raiden had called ahead. As soon as he arrived, he found his sister waiting for him.
"Big brother, you were so awesome!! But what is this about closed-door training and all?" Sylvia arrived and asked Raiden with a worried look on her face.
"Hehe, it’s nothing much. It’s just that the Alliance found your big brother to be too awesome, so they are giving me some special one-on-one training. What do you think? Isn’t your big brother awesome??" Raiden puffed out his chest as he boasted.
"Will there be any danger?" Sylvia asked in a concerned voice.
"Heh, it’s just some training. What danger could there be? Don’t worry so much. I just need you to go home and explain everything to Aunt Ruby and why I can’t visit home for the next few days, okay? Also, help me with a few things." Raiden rubbed his little sister’s head, who pouted.
"Alright, I will. Be careful, big brother!!" Sylvia hugged him, feeling reluctant to let him go.
"There, there. Don’t worry. I will see you soon. My time is up, I need to go now, little Sylvi~" Raiden rubbed her little head as he smiled.
He was a little worried about leaving her alone, but Yuna’s words assured him a lot.
As for whether someone with bad intentions will target his farm? Pfft, he was even less worried about that.
Ruby’s Mythical rank wasn’t for show. He wanted to see who would dare to court death like that.

Raiden entered the ’CONTINENTAL ALLIANCE OF BATTLE MASTERS’ once again, looking for the way to reach where he was asked to meet.
Just as he was walking towards the lift, a shout rang out:
"YOU!! Stop there, you little thief!!" Everyone in the Alliance stopped what they were doing to find the cute and klutzy receptionist marching towards Raiden with fury in her eyes.
"You little thief!! I want my money back!! I gave it to you with so much trust, but you never even called me once during the whole month!!"
"Give me my 10,000 Back!!"
