I Killed the Hero and Took His Achievements-Chapter 42: The Mermaid [NSFW]
[Location: The Star-Forge - Control Room]
[Status: Critical Overheat.]
[Temperature: 5,000 Degrees.]
The air wasn’t just hot. It was heavy, metallic, and tasted like burning air. The massive reactor core in the center of the facility was glowing a blinding and unstable white. It pulsed violently while threatening to turn the entire city of Atlantis into a radioactive crater.
"Containment field at 10%!" Sparky screamed over the intercom, his voice distorted by the electronic static. "The Void energy... it’s too dense! The cooling pipes are melting!"
I stood in the Command Suite overlooking the core. I wasn’t sweating. My [Ironclad] passive kept me comfortable.
But the girl next to me? It was princess Marina, she was wilting1. Her blue skin glowed with a deep feverish purple. She was gasping for air, and her gills fluttering rapidly as the heat evaporated the moisture from her body instantly.
"It’s... it’s too hot," she panted while pulling down the collar of her pearl dress. "I am a creature of the deep-sea... I cannot survive this dry heat, hell I’ve never even experienced it in my entire life."
"You aren’t here to survive, Marina," I said cold-heartedly. "But, you are here to fix it." I grabbed her arm. Her skin was cool and glutinous1. She was trembling profusely. I dragged her toward the inner door.
"Wait! Where are we going?" Marina cried out in intense fear.
"To the Core Center," I replied. "I need to dump the excess heat, and you are going to swallow it."
"Swallow... what?" She stuttered.
I didn’t answer her, then I kicked the door wide open.

[Location: The Core Center]
The room was in brimming red emergency lights. In the center was an obsidian slab. It was the direct neural link to the Star-Forge’s operating system.
I threw Marina onto the slab. "Stay here."
She sit up in a mess and looking frightened. "You... you said this was a job! This looks like a sacrificial ceremony!"
"It’s a job promotion," I corrected her.
I began to unbutton my shirt.
Marina’s eyes were widened open. She stared intently at my bare chest. "You... what are you doing?" she squeaked. Her face was turning an even darker shade of red.
"The Void energy is incompatible with the machine," I explained while tossing my shirt to the floor. "It needs a biological filter to process the raw mana before it stabilizes."
I stepped in between her legs. "I am the conduit, and you are the heat sink."
I leaned down while bracing my hands on the slab on either side of her head.m"Your Hydro-Core affinity is an S-Rank. You can absorb any thermal energy and convert it into steam."
"I... I don’t know how to do that!" she panicked.
"I’ll guide you to do it," I whispered to her ear. I placed my hand on her stomach, right over her mana core. "System. Initiate [Mana Transfer: Intense Mode]."
[System Warning.]
[This method requires intimate physical contact.]
[Compatibility Check: 95%.]
[Risk of Addiction: High.]
"Perfect," I grinned viciously. I unbuttoned my pants and underwear while looking at her horrified face.
I pulled out my bricked rod, then inserted inside her. I then pushed my mana into her. I do it from slow to fast gradually. Thump. Thump. Thump.
"AHHH!"
It wasn’t just a gentle mana stream. Instead, it was like a tsunami. My mana was heavy, dark, and possessive. It rushed into her delicate water-based mana veins like oil spilling into a pristine lake.
"It burns... it burns inside me!" she moaned while clutching my shoulders. Her nails dug into shoulders skin. "It’s inside me completely! It’s way too big!"
"Expand it," I ordered. "Make a room."
I kissed her lustfully. It wasn’t just a kiss of affection. Instead, it was a seal. It acts like a closed circuit. The moment our lips touched, the connection had completed. Then, I thrust my rod deeper and quickly.
WHOOSH.
A visible shockwave of blue steam erupted completely from her body. The heat from the reactor flowed through me -> into her -> and evaporated into pure mana mist.
[Reactor Temperature: Dropping...]
[4,000 Degrees...]
[3,500 Degrees...]
Marina’s eyes were rolled back, and her body was convulsed in pure ecstasy. For a mage, receiving a pure high-grade mana is better than any drug. It feels like absolute power that was cruising through veins.
And I was feeding her the mana forcefully.
"More..." she accidentally squirted inside against my rod. "Master... give me more... more intense thrust."
She wrapped her arms around my neck. She pulled me closer while pressing her cold and wet body against my burning skin. The contrast was stimulating. Fire and Ice. Void and Water.
"Greedy fish," I growled ecstatically. I intensified fiercely the flow and the momentum. I moved my hand down her scales, they were smooth and slippery. As my mana saturated her whole body, she began to change.
She had changed to her original appearance due to the fierce intensity. The light blue scales on her tail darkened, and turned into a deep midnight blue. Gold patterns appeared on her fins that were glowing with the same light as my [Avarice] crest.
[Target Mutation In Progress.]
[Hydro-Core Evolving -> Abyss-Core.]
"Oh god," Marina moaned. "I’m... I’m changing! I feel... powerful!"
I grabbed her waist strongly.
"Sparky! Status!" I shouted up vociferously.
"Temperature stabilizing, boss! But we need one final push! A massive release to jumpstart the Void Engines!"
"Understood."
I looked at Marina lustfully. She was sweating, panting, and completely high on mana. "Marina," I commanded. "Take it all."
"Yes... Yes, Master!" she moaned piercingly.
I released the limiter. [Skill: Mana Overload.] I dumped 100,000 units of mana into her in a single second. The sensation was exciting.
"GYAAAAAAH!" Marina moaned in pure euphoric agony. Her body glowed like a star, and her tail transformed completely, growing longer and more elegant, with razor-sharp fins. "AH. AH. AH."
I ejaculated inside her like a water gun.
Suddenly, massive blast of steam fiercely bursted out from her all body pores. The room filled with white fog. Then... silence filled the room.
The red emergency lights turned into green. The humming of the reactor settled into a steady rhythmic buzz.
[System Notification]
[Reactor Stabilized.]
[Star-Forge: 100% Operational.]
[Production Efficiency: +200%.]
I pulled away my swollen rods from her. I stood up there while adjusting my pants up. I then looked down at the slab.
Marina laid there, limp and trembling profusely. Mana steam rose from her skin turbulently.
After a while, she opened her eyes. Her eyes weren’t the soft blue of an innocent princess anymore. Instead, they were purple with vertical pupils of a predator.
[Target: Princess Marina]
[Race: Void Mermaid (High Variant).]
[Level: 45 -> 50.]
[New Trait: Void-Swimmer.]
(Can swim through space/vacuum as if it were water).
[Loyalty: 99% (Addicted).]
She looked at me, she didn’t look angry nor composed, but she looked hungry. She crawled off the slab with her fish tail.
She dragged herself across the floor to my feet. She hugged my leg while rubbing her cheek against it. "Master..." she purred, her voice was husky and distorted. "That was... really excellent."
"It was a maintenance procedure," I said coldly while buttoning my shirt.
"When is the next maintenance?" she asked eagerly while looking up with her dilated pupils.
I checked my watch. "When you pay off another billion of your debt."
Marina moaned. "Please... I’ll work hard. I’ll do anything. Just fill me up again."
"Then get to work."
I pointed to the door. "The fleet is ready to depart. I need a Navigator who can sense the currents of the space."
"I can do it!" She looked at her new dark hands. She summoned a ball of water, it wasn’t clear water, but it was black and inky water. "I can feel the space... it sings to me."
"Good girl."
I tossed her a towel. "Clean yourself up. You smell like a dried fish."
I walked out of the chamber.
————————————————————
[Corridor - Outside]
Seraphina was standing guard. Her face was bright red. She definitely heard everything through the door. "Boss..." she mumbled while clutching her staff. "Is she... still alive?"
"She’s better than alive," I said while walking past her. "She’s now optimized."
"You... you corrupted her soul!"
"I upgraded her bloodline," I corrected her. "Now she can survive in space. She should be thanking me like a slave."
"It sounded like... torture."
"It sounded like efficiency."
I walked onto the bridge of the facility.
The hangar bay was buzzing with activity. The 500 warships were fully powered. Their engines were glowed with the stable blue light of the now-fixed reactor.
Sparky ran up to me, his goggles foggy with steam.
"Boss! It worked! The thermal readings are flatlining! The cooling system is running at 400% efficiency!"
"Excellent."
"But... uh... what happened to the princess?" Sparky asked while looking at the door where Marina was emerging.
Marina appeared out. She looked dangerous, and her aura had changed from a gentle stream to a crushing deep-sea pressure. She walked past the worker, and didn’t acknowledge them.
She walked straight to the navigation console. She placed her hand on the controls. The black water magic flowed from her fingers into the ship’s system.
[System Alert]
[Navigator Assigned: Marina.]
[Fleet Coordination: +50%.]
[Speed in Void: +30%.]
"All systems green, Master," Marina announced, her voice was echoing with authority. "The Debt Collectors are ready to hunt."
I smiled heinously. "That’s perfect."
I looked at the viewscreen. The ocean outside was calm, the Kraken was dead, and the city was mine. But I wasn’t done with the ocean yet. "Sparky," I said.
"Yeah Boss?"
"The cannons on these ships. They use Mana Bullet, right?"
"Yes! Standard issue!"
"Inefficient," I shook my head. "Ammunition costs money, and reloading takes time." I looked at the [Aether Converter] we looted from the sewer. Then, I looked at the [Star-Forge] core. An idea suddenly formed in my mind. It was very, very profitable idea. "I want you to fuse them."
Sparky froze. "Fuse what?"
"The Aether Core and the Star-Forge."
"Boss! That’s impossible! The Aether Core generates energy, but it’s volatile! If we plug it directly into the weapon systems... the feedback loop would melt the barrels!"
"Not if we remove the barrels," I said.
"Remove the... what?"
"We don’t need barrels and bullets."
I walked to the holographic blueprint table. I erased the ’Ammunition Storage’ section of the ship design. I replaced it with a direct line from the engine to the emitter. "We are going to fire raw concentrated Aether."
"That’s... that’s a beam weapon!" Sparky stuttered. "The energy consumption... it would drain the whole ship in one shot!"
"No," I pointed at my status screen.
[Passive: Infinite Growth.]
[Trait: The Usurper.]
"Because I’m going to apply a little ’patch’ to the system logic. I’m going to tell the System that the energy source is ’Undefined’ in computer terms..." I grinned viciously. "Undefined means Infinite."
I turned to the crew. "Prepare for a weapon test."
🥀Just imagine touching worm skin.
