I Received Messages From Future Self!-Chapter 127 - All Acting
Chapter 127 -127 All Acting
The young woman’s face bore obvious signs of cosmetic surgery.
It was even somewhat deformed.
Clearly, due to excessive surgical procedures, the fillers she had gotten were beginning to warp over time.
Upon seeing the young woman’s face, the hotel receptionist paused, glanced at the ID in her hand, then back at the young woman’s face, and showed a face of embarrassment.
The doorman beside her also showed a lack of interest, even a hint of pity.
“What a shame,”
...
“Such a good figure,”
murmured the doorman to himself.
“Ma’am, please wait a moment,”
“Your facial recognition isn’t registering.”
“I need to call our manager,”
the hotel receptionist said cautiously.
The hotel receptionist was troubled and even a bit scared.
She had dealt with clients who had undergone cosmetic surgery before.
These people usually care a lot about their faces.
If they encountered someone with a bad temper, she was sure to be scolded.
She might even get hit.
As expected, the young woman’s expression changed before the hotel receptionist had finished speaking.
She showed a slightly distorted angry expression.
“What do you mean?”
The young woman pointed at the hotel receptionist, shrieking.
“Wah…”
Before the young woman could finish her sentence, the little boy she was holding burst into tears with a “wah.”

The young woman was comforting the little boy while glaring at the hotel receptionist.
The twisted and angry expression made the hotel receptionist feel a chill down her spine.
Without looking at the face, she was a goddess.
Looking at the face…
She was a devil.
Perhaps…
It was even more fitting to call her a malevolent spirit.
The young woman’s scream immediately drew the attention of the guests in the hotel lobby.
They all turned their gazes towards the reception area.
Even some guests who enjoyed watching a scene had already moved closer, slowly forming a crowd around them.
“Ma’am, please don’t get worked up,”
“We can manually enter your check-in information here, just give us a moment,”
said the hotel receptionist, growing anxious as a crowd gathered. She tried to calm the young woman while calling for support on her walkie-talkie.
Three minutes later!
The hotel manager, accompanied by a team of security guards, rushed towards the hotel reception desk.
“Ma’am, please don’t be upset,”
“If there’s any issue, we can talk about it,”
“If it’s a problem with our service, we can apologize to you and offer appropriate compensation,”
the hotel manager said confidently. As someone who had seen his share of troubles, he wasn’t the least bit intimidated by the situation and handled it with ease.
With that, the hotel manager gave a meaningful look to the hotel receptionist.
Understanding what was conveyed, the hotel receptionist immediately left the desk, together with the security guards brought by the manager, started to clear and calm the surrounding guests.
The young woman was still comforting the little boy, glaring at the hotel manager with a formidable, twisted expression.
The hotel manager’s face remained professionally pleasant, showing no reaction to the young woman’s terrifying visage.
He kept his cool throughout.
“Ma’am, I can help you with manual check-in,”
“Would that be alright?”
The hotel manager asked the young woman with a smile.
“Hmph, hurry up!”
The young woman coldly huffed.
The hotel manager smiled and took down the information from the young woman’s ID card with a pen.
At the same time, he kept his wits about him. While the young woman was not paying attention, he opened his computer, entered her identity information, and sent her ID card photo to the local police station.
“Ma’am, it’s done.”
“Here is your room card!”
The hotel manager put down the pen and handed over the ID and room card to the young woman with both hands.
The young woman took her ID and room card, gave the hotel manager a disdainful glance, put her mask and sunglasses back on, and, leading the little boy who had stopped crying, took the luggage from the doorman and, swaying her hips, walked towards the elevator.
Seeing there was no more commotion to watch, the crowd of onlooking guests dispersed in contemplation.
Only a baby-faced boy, scratching his head in confusion, watched as the young woman entered the elevator.
This baby-faced boy was none other than Shi Guang, who had just delivered a meal to Fang Xiaocao.
“Strange, she seems familiar from somewhere.”
Shi Guang muttered doubtfully to himself.
“Shi Guang, is it Han Xue?”
Wang Qiang’s voice came through the earpiece.
“Team leader, it’s not Han Xue!”
“Although there are signs of plastic surgery on her face, there are still some resemblances to the photo on her ID.”
“Compared to Han Xue’s picture, there’s not a single similar feature, and even her figure has filled out considerably.”
Shi Guang, looking at the two split-screen photos on his phone, replied while pressing his earpiece.
“Take the three photos back to the team and do a precise computer comparison to ensure foolproof identification.”
Wang Qiang instructed Shi Guang in a low voice through the earpiece.
“Got it!”
Shi Guang responded and walked to the hotel reception, showed his credentials, explained the situation, and had the front desk send a screenshot of the surveillance footage of the young woman to his email.
After completing these tasks, Shi Guang quickly left the hotel.
“Ding dong!”
The elevator doors opened on the fifth floor.
The young woman, leading the little boy and pulling the luggage, stepped out of the elevator and walked along the corridor toward room 512.
Because they were in such a hurry, the little boy tripped and fell flat on his face in front of room 508, immediately bursting into loud cries.
“There, there, don’t cry, huh~”
The young woman knelt down, helped the little boy up, and while comforting him, gently patted down the nonexistent dust on him.
The mother and son lingered in front of room 508 for a few minutes until the little boy stopped crying and obediently followed his mother to the door of room 512.
Inside room 507, Fang Xiaocao, who was preoccupied with eating, heard the noise outside the door.
But as soon as she raised her guard, she heard the boy’s crying and the young woman’s soothing soft words, so she relaxed and let her guard down.
In the hotel surveillance room!
Wang Qiang watched intently at the figures of the young woman and boy in the surveillance screen with a sharp gaze.
Not until he saw the young woman and boy use the room card to unlock room 512 and enter did Wang Qiang take his eyes off the screen.
Wang Qiang picked up the walkie-talkie, pressed the talk button, and said, “Immediately send two people to check the spot outside room 508 where the mother and son stopped, see if anything odd was left behind.”
“Roger that!”
His colleague’s response came through the walkie-talkie.
Two minutes later!
A man and a woman, appearing like a couple, showed up on the surveillance screen.
As they arrived in front of room 508, they suddenly started arguing fiercely, with the woman slapping the man in a fit of rage, and the man, in his anger, violently pushed the woman to the ground.
The woman seemed to have dropped something. While wiping her tears, she groped around on the floor.
Upon seeing this scene, Wang Qiang couldn’t help but chuckle aloud.
“Hahaha…”
“They’re quite the duo.”
Wang Qiang shook his head smiling and muttered to himself.
Standing aside with his arms folded, the boy watched coldly.
