I Regressed With a 10,000x God-Tier Multiplier-Chapter 17: The Bleeding Core
The heavy, metallic thud of the Cult Leader’s body tumbling down the altar steps echoed sharply through the dark sanctum.
Lucifer stood entirely still, heavily supporting the exhausted Oracle, Sarah, in his left arm. The young woman trembled, her starlight eyes barely open, but she clung to his leather coat like a physical lifeline.
The fifty brainwashed Dark Elves near the massive adamantine doors were rapidly regaining their senses. They frantically pushed themselves up from the bone-covered floor, staring in absolute, silent horror at the massive blue army of five thousand Cryo-Vanguards currently occupying the room.
Lucifer didn’t order the snipers to aim at them. The goddess’s children were completely safe.
"General Elara," Lucifer commanded, his voice tight with the heavy, burning exhaustion of his depleted mana pool. He carefully lowered Sarah onto the lowest stone step of the altar. "Form a defensive perimeter around the hostage. Nobody touches her."
Elara instantly launched herself into the air, her metallic wings carrying her directly to the altar. She landed heavily beside Sarah, her long, dual-bladed silver spear completely materializing in her grip. The Fallen Valkyrie looked down at the young Oracle, her starlight eyes perfectly matching the faint, warm glow radiating from the girl’s hair.
"I am the shield of the Warlord," Elara stated coldly, her celestial aura aggressively flaring outward, creating a perfectly safe, warm pocket of space around the steps. "You will not die here."
Lucifer turned his attention back to the dead Cult Leader. He aggressively kicked the broken hilt of his broadsword completely free from the man’s jaw. He was unarmed, his mana was critically low, and the air in the sanctum was rapidly turning completely toxic.
The dark purple poison dripping from the Cult Leader’s dropped dagger aggressively began to boil. It didn’t evaporate; it actively dissolved the solid stone beneath it, creating a deep, hissing crater.
The system interface violently flashed directly into Lucifer’s retinas.
[Warning! High-Density Necromantic Convergence Detected!]
[The blood of the Cult Leader is acting as a summoning catalyst.]
[Multiple Elite-Tier Signatures approaching!]
The massive, dark fleshy walls of the entire sanctum violently pulsed. A deafening, guttural chant completely devoid of human vocal cords aggressively echoed directly inside Lucifer’s mind.
The hissing crater in the center of the room exploded outward, showering the bone floor with highly corrosive purple sludge.
Three terrifying figures violently pulled themselves completely out of the crater.
Two of them were heavily robed Necromancers. They floated exactly a foot off the ground, their faces completely hidden by deep, ragged cowls. They aggressively held long, jagged staffs topped with screaming, glowing green human skulls.
But the third figure entirely dominated the room.
It was a Legendary Lich. A towering, nine-foot-tall skeletal monstrosity completely draped in rotting, royal purple velvet robes.
Its entirely exposed ribcage violently burned with a cold, intense blue fire. It wore an incredibly ornate, jagged crown forged entirely from blackened iron and completely frozen human fingers.
The massive, two-handed scythe it carried aggressively dripped with pure, concentrated shadow magic.
[Raid Boss Encounter Triggered: The Necromancer Triad.]
[Entity 1: Cult Necromancer (Level 25 - Elite)]
[Entity 2: Cult Necromancer (Level 25 - Elite)]
[Entity 3: Xylok the Undying, Legendary Lich (Level 35 - Boss)]
"Fools," the Lich’s voice violently grated like crushing tombstones. The sound physically hurt Lucifer’s ears, actively bleeding a small amount of dark magic directly into his Warlord aura. "You aggressively butchered my physical servants. But you merely provided exactly the required blood to anchor my true form to this pathetic mortal plane."
The Lich slammed the butt of its massive scythe directly into the stone. The entire cavern aggressively shook.
The blue fire completely burning inside its ribcage flared aggressively, illuminating the terrifying, absolute arrogance of a centuries-old monster.
"Kneel, tiny warlord," Xylok hissed aggressively, pointing a single, skeletal finger directly at Lucifer. "Submit your soul to the Rot Lord. The Great Integration is merely the beginning of the eternal harvest. Serve me, and you shall receive a fraction of my dark immortality."
Lucifer didn’t kneel. He didn’t even draw a weapon. He simply stared directly up at the towering boss, his eyes completely devoid of fear.
He had spent exactly ten years fighting literal Abyssal Gods who completely dwarfed this pathetic, decaying skeleton.
"I have already seen the end of the world," Lucifer laughed aggressively, wiping a trail of thick sweat from his brow. "And you aren’t in it. You are completely nothing but dust waiting to be swept up."
The Lich’s empty eye violently narrowed. The insult aggressively shattered its arrogant composure entirely.
"Then die screaming!" Xylok roared aggressively.
The Legendary Lich violently swept its massive blade horizontally through the air. It didn’t launch a standard magical projectile. It aggressively cast a massive, room-clearing area-of-effect spell.
"Poison Nova!"
A massive, incredibly dense, rapidly expanding wave of highly corrosive, toxic green gas exploded entirely outward from the Lich.
The cloud moved faster than a galloping horse, completely swallowing the entire center of the sanctum in less than two seconds.
"Vanguard! Defensive formation!" Elara roared aggressively, tightly spinning her silver spear to physically create a localized wind tunnel, desperately trying to push the heavy gas completely away from Sarah.
The Cryo-Vanguards were fast, but they couldn’t completely outrun a massive, spherical gas attack in an enclosed, subterranean room. The green cloud aggressively washed entirely over the front two rows of the blue Elven snipers.
The poison didn’t instantly kill them. It was a damage-over-time curse.
[Warning! 200 Vanguard Snipers affected by Poison Nova!]
[Units taking 50 Damage per second!]
Lucifer aggressively choked, immediately coughing up a mouthful of thick, completely black blood directly onto his leather boots.
The Soul-Link Drain engaged. Because the snipers were actively taking massive, sustained damage, the system aggressively ripped the corresponding magical upkeep cost entirely out of Lucifer’s Warlord core to forcefully keep them alive.

Lucifer completely collapsed entirely onto his left side. His physical body aggressively convulsed. His entire skeletal structure creaked, actively threatening to completely shatter under the extreme, rapid-fire magical bleeding.
He was exactly ten seconds away from a completely lethal Soul Backlash. His Warlord class was actively killing him.
"Suppress the gas!" Lucifer managed to roar through the blood completely filling his throat.
The surviving Vanguard snipers who were entirely outside the gas cloud instantly dropped to one knee. They aggressively aimed their massive ice-rifles directly at the expanding green wave. They didn’t target the Lich; they targeted the atmosphere itself.
Five thousand hyper-compressed absolute zero beams fired simultaneously. The sheer, terrifying cold aggressively flash-froze the toxic green gas completely mid-air, instantly turning the massive, expanding cloud into heavily falling, harmless green snow.
The poison damage stopped. The Soul-Link Drain completely halted.
Lucifer lay heavily on the stone, exactly one breath away from completely passing out. His mana had aggressively bottomed out at exactly 500 points. He couldn’t even stand up.
"Protect the Warlord!" Elara screamed aggressively, physically launching herself completely away from the altar. She aggressively intercepted the two Elite Necromancers, who had rapidly floated forward to finish Lucifer off.
She drove her silver spear exactly through the first Necromancer’s cowl, instantly physically pinning the monster entirely to the fleshy wall.
But the Legendary Lich simply laughed aggressively. It began heavily chanting a completely new, far more devastating dark spell. Its skeletal hands aggressively glowed with completely pure, concentrated black death magic.
Lucifer couldn’t command the Vanguard. He couldn’t move his tongue. The edges of his vision turned entirely black. He was going to die here, completely broken by his own Warlord class mechanics.
Then, a pair of incredibly soft, completely warm hands gently grabbed the collar of his heavy leather coat.
Sarah, the exhausted Oracle, had physically dragged herself completely off the altar steps. She heavily crawled directly through the freezing green snow.
She ignored the terrifying battle aggressively raging completely around her. She completely ignored the towering Lich.
She crawled directly over Lucifer’s chest. Her golden eyes were completely filled with an incredibly deep, profound sorrow. She actively saw his soul fracturing through her Oracle sight. She completely saw the immense, crushing burden he entirely carried.
"You completely saved me from the dark," Sarah whispered aggressively, her warm breath completely brushing against Lucifer’s cheek. "Now, I will completely carry your light."
She didn’t ask for permission. Sarah leaned heavily forward and pressed her soft lips exactly directly against the center of Lucifer’s completely bleeding forehead.
A completely blinding, absolute flash of completely pure, warm starlight violently erupted directly from the point of contact.
[Ding!]
