I, The Villainess, Will Seduce All The Heroines Instead-Chapter 18: Fuck The Second Heroine! (2)
Chapter 18 - Fuck The Second Heroine! (2)
"There are no other rooms."
"Then why not just let us switch with someone else?" Sera retorted.
"Because nobody wants you as their roommate."
A long silence stretched out as Turelia's fingers rhythmically tapped against the desk, the tap tap tap echoing through the room like a ticking time bomb.
Verena's mind raced as she prayed for some miracle, something—anything—that would get her out of this mess. She couldn't be kicked out of the academy. Not because of this... chihuahua.
Finally, Turelia stood up, eyes narrowing in a way that sent chills down both their spines.
"I've decided."
Verena and Sera both braced themselves, hearts pounding in anticipation.
"THE TWO OF YOU SHALL CLEAN THE DORMITORY FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK AND GET ALONG!"
There was a beat of silence.
...
"WHAT?!"
It was still morning, and Verena was already exhausted.
She had barely survived orientation, gotten saddled with the worst roommate possible, and now, thanks to said roommate, they were stuck with cleaning duty.
When they returned to the dorm, it was a disaster zone.
Clothes everywhere, unidentifiable objects littering the floor, a faint smell of something burnt.
Verena wasn't a pristine noblewoman, but even she had standards. This? This was beyond help.
She glanced down at her hand. The bite mark was still there, darkening into a lovely bruise.

Then she turned around to see Sera glaring daggers at her. "Why are you looking at me like that? You're the one who got me into this mess."
"If you touch me, I'll kill you."
"Like I'd ever touch you."
What is up with these girls assuming I might touch them?!
Verena rolled her eyes and began unfastening her dress, slipping out of it with practiced ease.
The mirror across the room reflected her form. She was tall, elegant, a perfect hourglass figure.
Objectively speaking, she had model-tier proportions.
If fate weren't so determined to throw her into absurd situations, she might've lived a peaceful life as a fashion icon instead of dealing with this nonsense.
Behind her, Sera made a noise. Something between a scoff and a tch.
Verena's eyebrow twitched. "What was that?"
"Nothing."
"No, no, you definitely said something." She turned around, arms crossed. "Come on, spill it. What is it? You mad I'm taller than you?"
Sera sneered. "Please. I don't care about your freakish height."
"Freakish? Excuse me, I am gracefully tall. Regal, even."
"You look like a tree."
"Ah. So this is about your own height insecurity. I get it now."
Sera growled. "Shut up."
"Or," Verena smirked, "is it something else?" She leaned in slightly. "You jealous of something, little chihuahua?"
Sera's face turned red. "Of what?! And what did you call me?!"
Verena struck a pose. "This," She gestured to herself. "The elegance. The statuesque beauty. The undeniable charisma. The—"
A pillow flew across the room and smacked her straight in the face.
"Shut. Up."
In the novel, Sera had always been a walking contradiction.
Loud but insecure, brash but desperate for approval.
Not only that, her height was a sore spot.
Her lack of strength was also a major sore spot.
And her entire existence was one long identity crisis.
Growing up in a military noble household didn't help. Neither did the fact that her bloodline wasn't pure.
Her father, a hopeless simp, had married a courtesan out of love, which, in high society, was practically a crime.
The nobility never let him live it down.
The running joke was that the great Lord Anverre fell for a harlot and got a brat in return.
Despised from birth for being the "daughter of a whore," Sera developed an attitude sharper than a blade.
She was loud, aggressive, and had the street smarts of a seasoned thug.
She had to be that way.
Before her father took her in, she survived on the streets.
That was probably why she had zero etiquette, no self-preservation instincts, and the fighting style of an alley brawler.
On the surface, she acted like she didn't care. Who needs noble society? They're all fake anyway.
But deep down, she wanted their approval. Wanted to prove she was more than just the bastard daughter of a courtesan.
Not that she'd ever admit it.
Verena smirked, arms crossed as she studied the fiery little menace before her.
Sera scowled. "Why are you smirking like that? You're creeping me out."
"Oh, nothing," Verena hummed, tilting her head. "Just thinking... what a waste."
"Huh?"
"You have the potential for a regal appearance," Verena mused, "but instead, you choose to act like a stray cat who picked a fight with a carriage wheel."
"Y-You—!" Sera's face turned red, equal parts anger and embarrassment. "Noble etiquette is beneath me anyway! It's all just fake and suffocating!"
"Maybe. But it's also a way to command respect. To forge real connections. And... dare I say... make friends?" She leaned in slightly, lowering her voice like she was sharing a scandalous secret. "I could help."
"And why would you do that?"
Verena smiled.
Because this is my new job.
Verena had been the villainess who sabotaged every connection between the heroines, isolating them, breaking their friendships, ruining everything.
Now, she was going to do the opposite.
If she wanted to dodge her death flags and create the happy endings these girls deserved, then fine.
She would play the puppeteer—not to manipulate them, but to guide them. Not towards external validation, but towards real, lasting bonds.
A sisterhood built on trust, not tragedy.
"You're just as manipulative as the rumors say."
"And isn't it just as shallow to believe in rumors?"
"I—" Sera's mouth opened, then promptly shut as she realized her own hypocrisy.
Before she could sputter out a defense, the door was suddenly open.
Beatrice stood there, eyes widening as she took in the very questionable scene before her:
A half-naked Verena, looking all too composed and seductive.
A much smaller, red-faced girl who looked like she was about to be pinned down.
And, most damning of all, the bite mark on Verena's hand.
Beatrice's face turned scarlet. "A-Agh! Sorry for disturbing!!" She squeaked, immediately covering her eyes like she had just walked in on a scandalous affair.
"IT'S NOT LIKE THAT!!" Verena and Sera shouted in unison.
