I Turned Filthy Rich Just By Sleeping With Women?!-Chapter 110: Blood In Still Waters II
Chapter 110: Blood In Still Waters II
Su Meilin wasn’t a fool. People didn’t change in an instant. Even when her very heart wanted at least half of what he said was true.
But once a scum always a scum. If not, Su Jinhe should change when her brother died, to be better father.
However, he become worst and this worst father of the century change because his daughter finally fight him once? No way in hell!
"You don’t care about me. You never did. And now I see it, clearer than ever."
Su Jinhe’s smile faltered.
"You abandoned me when I begged you for help. You called me a disgrace when I wanted to leave Jin Haolong. And now, suddenly, you want to ’rebuild the family’ because I want to cut our family relationship?"
"No. You want the money. You want what Jin Haolong left behind."
He opened his mouth to speak, but she cut him off, fury rising with every word.
"You always wanted a successful son. A future heir. That was my little brother to you. But you killed him, didn’t you?"
That made Su Jinhe stiffen.
"You were gambling," she whispered, trembling now but not in fear, it was undeniably rage and disappointment.
"You were out chasing cards while your only son was dying. Alone. Sick. In that tiny bedroom while I worked nights and Mom borrowed money from loan sharks just to buy his medicine."
"Shut your mouth," Su Jinhe growled.
Meilin didn’t stop.
"I cleaned his sheets. Held him when he cried. I drop out of high school just for him! I and mom were the only one there! And now you sit here, acting like you care, like you want to fix things?"
Tears spilled down her face, but her voice only grew stronger. "You don’t want redemption. You want control. You want to use me like you used everyone else!"
She pointed to the document. "Sign it. And walk away from my life for good."
She wipe tears she hated. It just that when her emotions out of control, she always ended up crying like a weak.
There was a long silence.
Then, in a flash, Su Jinhe’s hand swept the document off the table.
"You ungrateful bitch," he spat.
Before she could move, he stood and struck her across the face again. This time harder as his ego has been strached once again, this time deeper by his own daughter that should only comply to him.
Her head snapped to the side, hair whipping with the blow, but she didn’t fall. Not this time.
"You think you’re better than me now? Huh? Just because of are now rich with that inheritance, that dity money from the husband that never love you!"
"I should’ve know you will become this ungrateful the moment you marry rich!" he roared.
"But I’m glad, that bastard not here to protect you! He should have been death now!" he laughed full of mocking,
"No, you come with me! There’s a man who is loaded and powerful. He wants a wife and doesn’t care about the past. I’m giving you another chance to be useful!"
He grabbed her wrist, yanking her toward the door.
But Meilin screamed, resisting. "NOO!!! What are you doing to Yiming?!"
Her nails clawed at his arm, scratching deep. She kicked at his shin, tore at his jacket, fighting like a cornered animal.
"You don’t own me anymore!" she screamed, voice hoarse. "I’m not your bargaining chip!"
He slapped her again and gripped her hair, trying to drag her toward the exit.
"YOU’RE STILL MY DAUGHTER! YOU HEAR ME?! I MADE YOU! YOU BELONG TO ME!"
Meilin gasped, struggling, but her nails dug deep into his face leaving a red, bloody line.
"LET ME GO!"
But then the door slid open. Shadows fell across the room.
Two tall men in black suits stormed inside, Zhao Yiming’s hired bodyguards.
"The hell—?!" Su Jinhe turned, his grip still twisted in Meilin’s hair.
"Let go of her." One of the bodyguards barked, stepping forward with an authoritative glare. "Now."
But Su Jinhe didn’t back down. He exploded instead, "Get the fuck out! This is my family matter! Who the hell do you think you’re talking to?!"
"You have three seconds," the other guard said coolly, reaching inside his coat. "Three."
Su Jinhe didn’t flinch. Instead, he yanked Meilin back toward him like a shield, grabbing her shoulder tightly as she winced.
"You lay a finger on me and I’ll—AHH!"
The first bodyguard lunged, grabbing his wrist and twisting it with a snap. Jinhe howled as he staggered back.
Su Meilin backed into the corner of the room, trembling, her breaths ragged. She didn’t understand who those men were. And Zhao Yiming... where was he?!
The second bodyguard stepped in and drove a heavy palm into Su Jinhe’s sternum, slamming him against the wall with such force that a decorative scroll fell to the floor. A nearby vase cracked, the shattering sound echoing across the tense room.
"Get your fucking hands off me!" Su Jinhe thrashed like a wild boar, his face red, bloated with rage.
He spat on the floor, voice breaking. "Don’t you know who I am?! If you dare lay another finger on me, I’ll sue you—"
The bodyguards just exchanged a glance—and then one of them punched him square in the face.
CRACK.
Su Jinhe’s nose exploded in a spray of blood as he collapsed to the floor in a daze, finally unconscious.
Su Meilin gasped, her hands over her mouth. Then... a tiny smile crept up her face. Internally, she was cheering.
Finally, someone shut him up.
She stood shakily and approached the two men, still unsure who they were, but thankful nonetheless.
"Thank you so much," she said, her voice breathless. "But can you help me a little more? My boyfriend, he’s still outside. I’m scared he’s hurt..."
The two guards nodded without hesitation and followed her quickly out the room.
Then she heard it.
"Meilin!"
Zhao Yiming’s voice.
She turned sharply and ran, there he was, wet from head to toe, bruised, a shallow cut on his cheek. His breath was ragged but his eyes locked on hers, wide with relief.
"Yiming!" she cried, throwing herself into his arms and hugging him tightly. "What happened to you?! Why are you bleeding? You’re soaked!"
He exhaled softly, rubbing her back. "I’m fine... I’m okay now." He looked into her eyes. "What about your father?"
She huffed. "Ugh... those two gentlemen took care of him."
Zhao raised a brow as they both turned back toward the room. The moment they stepped in, he saw it: Su Jinhe, sprawled on the floor, nose broken, face swollen and bloody, unconscious and snoring faintly like a pig left in the mud.
Zhao Yiming let out a snort. Then a low chuckle.
Su Meilin couldn’t help it either. She burst into laughter, wiping away the last of her tears as it turned into something lighter—freer.
They both laughed, standing over the wreckage of her past.
