I Want a Divorce Every Day, But the Superstar Says No-Chapter 93: Another Love Rival?
Victor Miller was always the type to bully the weak and fear the strong. He was stunned by Quiana Sutton earlier, and now seeing everyone looking at him with disdain and contempt, as if he were nothing but trash, he began to feel inexplicably panicked.
"She..."
"She instructed me to do this, and she also gave me this Universal Card."
No one expected Victor Miller to suddenly accuse Miranda White.
Everyone present looked at Miranda White with suspicion.
Miranda White was also a bit bewildered. She was only watching the drama unfold; who would have thought she’d be dragged into it? Scared, she quickly stepped back and waved her hands repeatedly, "It wasn’t me, I didn’t do it."
Yet Victor Miller insisted with conviction, "It was you. You were jealous that Joseph Grant’s attention was all on Quiana. You resented her, that’s why you instructed me to go to Quiana’s room and deliberately ruin her reputation."
"It wasn’t me, it really wasn’t me."
Miranda White was so anxious she was nearly in tears. She was indeed jealous of Joseph Grant’s interest in Quiana Sutton, but she really didn’t know Victor well—after all, they weren’t even from the same company...
Everyone present knew that Miranda White and Joseph Grant had been involved before. She did have a motive to go after Quiana Sutton.
Even Joseph Grant believed Victor’s words.
He walked toward Miranda White, his eyes filled with disappointment. He had once simply disliked her, not to the point of hatred, but now, all he felt for her was loathing:
"Miranda White, I never imagined you could be this kind of person. My affection for Quiana is my own business; why take it out on her?"
"Joseph, it really wasn’t me..."
Miranda desperately tried to explain, but no one believed her.
At this moment, Quiana Sutton’s voice rang out again:
"I don’t think it was her who orchestrated this."
Everyone present looked at her in shock, making the atmosphere eerily quiet. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
The most shocked of all was undoubtedly Miranda White.
After the initial shock, her eyes instantly reddened.
"Miss Sutton, do you believe me?"
Quiana Sutton glanced at Victor Miller, standing not far away, a faint sneer on her lips:
"When you were speaking earlier, you subconsciously glanced at Isla Firth, and even your toes were unconsciously pointed in her direction. In psychological terms, people only unconsciously trust those with whom they have a certain intimate, subordinate relationship. So, there must be an unspeakable connection between you and her, or should I say, it was actually her who instructed you?"
Everyone instinctively looked at where Victor was standing, and indeed, it was true.
But can this prove that the two have a close relationship?
Hearing Quiana Sutton’s analysis, Isla became flustered and immediately panicked:
"What nonsense are you talking about? How could I possibly have any connection with him?"
Quiana merely gave her a cool glance, speaking unhurriedly, "If I remember correctly, weren’t you the first to discover him in my room?"
"So what? I just happened to be near your room, passing by your door, and saw him coming out. What’s the issue?"
The smile on Quiana’s lips grew wider:
"There’s no issue, but if you both have couple tattoos, that would be quite telling."
Isla subconsciously touched her waist, barely able to believe that Quiana knew about their couple tattoos. She spoke reluctantly:
"Even if we have couple tattoos, so what? At most, it proves we’re in a relationship? What else could it prove? I have nothing against you, no reason to target you."
No reason to target her?
How funny. Did she forget her challenge yesterday?
Quiana fixed her gaze on Victor, a hint of mockery playing on her lips:
"Since you claim Miranda instructed you, surely she must have offered you substantial benefits?"
Victor was taken aback, momentarily at a loss for words.
Quiana feigned shock:
"She didn’t offer you any benefits, and yet you’re willing to do something that, if found out, would make you despised? Of course, if you were avenging your girlfriend, that’d make more sense..."
Quiana’s words echoed in everyone’s ears, refusing to die down.
Durrell Landon watched Quiana’s retreating figure, a smile never leaving his lips.
Quiana walked up to William Parker, handing him the Universal Card, speaking calmly, "Director, I think it’s best you call the police. Victor Miller stole the hotel’s Universal Card, invaded someone’s privacy. These charges should add up to a few years in prison."
Victor snapped out of his shock and, upon hearing Quiana’s insistence on involving the police, panicked and hurried over to Isla, anxiously pleading, "Didn’t you say there’d be no problem with this? Now they want to arrest me; you have to find a way to save me..."
Isla hastily shoved him aside, "I know nothing. I only told you Quiana bullied me, and you took it upon yourself to get revenge. I know nothing."
Seeing Isla trying to wash her hands of the matter, placing all the blame on him, Victor became furious. He addressed everyone present: "I’m telling you, she orchestrated this whole thing today, including framing Miranda White."
"Shut up..."
Isla never expected him to suddenly turn on her.
The two began exposing each other’s dirty laundry, back and forth.
Quiana didn’t even glance at them, looking calmly at William Parker: "Director, it seems everything is clear now. Why not call the police?"
William snapped out of his shock.
He quickly took out his phone to call the police.
Grace Sutton finally breathed a sigh of relief, feeling a sense of having survived a disaster.
"Cece, for a moment there, I thought you were a cop interrogating suspects."
The oppressive atmosphere was suffocating, making one’s heart tighten and tremble.
Quiana shrugged: "I just got a taste of being a cop, not bad at all. Next time, get me a role like that."
Grace’s eyes sparkled, "No problem. If you play a cop, you wouldn’t even need to act. You could just be yourself."
Miranda White looked at Quiana Sutton in awe, casting a glance at Joseph Grant standing before her: "I think I now understand why you like her."
"What do you mean by that?"
Joseph suddenly felt a sense of crisis.
"I just suddenly found her so cool. My heart skipped a beat, and I want to marry her."
Joseph: "..."
He didn’t even know if he had any male rivals, but now he had a female rival too?
