I Was Transmigrated As An Extraordinary Extra-Chapter 175
Chapter 175: Chapter 175
Panagsina Town Hall
Levi sat comfortably in his luxurious office chair, the dim light casting shadows across his sharp features as he listened intently to the report from one of his subordinates.
"Four mirror shards were stolen in one night," the subordinate reported, anxiety etched across his face.
Initially, Levi’s anger bubbled beneath the surface, but he quickly suppressed it. He leaned back in his chair, tapping his fingers. Anger was a luxury he could not afford, especially when he had a skilled warlock by his side—Kino Jole.
Thanks to Kino who stood nervously before him. Kino was adept at his craft, and the lock of hair he had acquired from the attackers could serve as the key to tracking them down.
Kino fidgeted nervously, his hands twisting nervously as he awaited Levi’s response. "M-My apologies, my lord!" he blurted out, his voice shaky.
"It’s fine. Don’t overreact so much," Levi replied, his tone almost dismissive.
He had feared the attackers would prove problematic, but with Kino’s talent and the lead they had from the hair, there was a certain thrill in the hunt that lifted his spirits.
He had already dispatched his monsters to scout and verify the attackers’ numbers and location. As he reviewed the intelligence, he noted something unusual about them. "They’re young," he muttered, his voice low. "They seem... friendly. Children like that wouldn’t simply watch one of their friends die."
A trace of pity crossed his mind, but he quickly brushed it aside. To him, such emotions—loyalty, love, friendship—were mere weaknesses. They were burdens that would inevitably sow distrust and lead to failure.
"Bring all the mirror shards back here," he firmly commanded.
"Y-Yes? Ah, understood!" Kino replied, a grudging respect born of fear flickering in his eyes.
Although retrieving the remaining three mirror shards might diminish some of his men, Levi believed that it was the best course of action. Once the young attackers learned about their friend’s dire situation, they would inevitably rush to him, desperate to protect their own.
He leaned back in his chair. "Cypher Knoxx, Edge Killian, and that girl... Remillia Lockhart." He said aloud, the names rolling off his tongue with a sinister satisfaction.
Levi’s lips curled into a sly smile. He had already compiled an impressive information on the trio. They were recognized as Glacial Sphere’s rising stars, the future heroes of their generation.
He had long warned his subordinates to be vigilant against them; he understood that the girl, especially, possessed a strong combination of intelligence and strength that made her dangerous.
"Looks like my future is bright," he mused, a slight smile creeping across his lips. The prospect of eliminating these rising stars ignited a fire within him.
Yes, as long as he could obtain their heads, the potential rewards were tremendous. Their death would send his reputation to new heights, paving the royal road towards becoming the strongest person in all the lands.
The dark room seemed to pulse with energy as he plotted his next move. Everything was falling into place, and with every mirror shard he recovered, he built a step closer to his ultimate goal—a power that would make him unstoppable.
As he dismissed Kino and prepared for the impending storm, Levi reveled in the knowledge that the game was shifting in his favor. The true hunt had just begun.

Day one
Rex had changed overnight. He looked skeletal, his cheeks hollowed as if vital energy had been drained from his body. What’s worse, in our desperation, we discovered that Levi had already retrieved the rest of the mirror shards.
Day two
Things took a more sinister turn. Rex started complaining that he couldn’t see anything. His pupils had turned blank and unfocused, rendering him unable to respond to his surroundings. The spark that once lit up his gaze had vanished, replaced by a deep, unsettling blankness that made us all uneasy.
Day three
Rex was barely able to stand. His body swayed unsteadily, and he clung to whatever he could find for support; it was evident he was suffering greatly. The color in his skin faded further, resembling parchment more than living flesh. It felt as though we were watching a friend slip away while being hopelessly powerless to help.
Frustration mounted as we decided to observe Panagsina Town Hall from a distance. Even from the shadows of the trees, we strained our eyes, hoping to see movement, any sign that Levi’s forces would emerge. But the town hall remained quiet and dormant. Neither Levi’s men nor anyone else came out to patrol. They were holed up inside, likely preparing for whatever schemes Levi had concocted next.
Days turned into a monotonous cycle of watching, waiting, and worrying. With each passing hour, Rex’s condition deteriorated. The fever left him burning hot one moment and freezing cold the next, chills wracking his frail body, and nausea kept him trapped in an unrelenting haze of discomfort.
Every one of us felt the growing dread deep within us—if this continued, Rex could die.
"Rex, can you eat this...?" Whitney asked gently, her voice laced with concern as she offered a spoonful of porridge.
"...." He didn’t respond, his eyes clouded and unfocused. It was as if he were barely aware of our presence.
Edge and Whitney had gone through the trouble of making the porridge with painstaking care. Edge’s brow furrowed with worry, and Whitney bit her lip, uncertainty etched across her face. Rex could only raise his head slightly before taking a spoonful and sinking back into the sheets, his energy fading yet again.
I stepped in, wishing I could help more, but even my Spectral Seal had no effect on the curse that had taken hold of him.
"There’s nothing new today either. Looks like they’ll just stay locked up in the town hall," Cypher reported as he returned from his latest patrol, his expression serious.
Levi was clearly waiting for us, having retrieved the rest of the mirror shards. He understood our urgency and was simply biding his time, knowing we had no choice but to come to him.
Gritting his teeth, Edge clenched his fists and shouted, "He’s clearly testing our patience! We’ll have to do what that fucker wants," His frustration boiled over, and his reddened face suggested that his patience was wearing thin.
Angela retorted sharply, struggling to contain her anger. "You’re too reckless! You want the six of us to fight against three thousand people?"
Instead of escalating things further, I interjected, hoping to bring some clarity to the chaos. "When the mirror shards are gathered in one place, the world becomes unstable. It’s the same for the people here, so only about five hundred should be able to participate in the battle. Among them, we only need to pay attention to ten people, including Levi."
In this context, people would be significantly weakened if the power of the mirror shards wasn’t distributed evenly.
With the six of us, that should be more than enough to take them down.
However, my thoughts quickly turned to the pressing issue at hand—Rex. We couldn’t just leave him alone, especially in his condition. Bringing him to the battlefield would also be dangerous. The only solution is that one of us had to stay behind to look after him while the others dealt with Levi, his men, and finally the witch.
Wait... If I was alone with the mirror shards, wouldn’t Levi naturally come find me?
"Sounds good with me. Five hundred vs. six. I feel like I can kill them all!" Edge declared, aggression flaring in his eyes.
Feeling the direction the conversation was taking, Christian’s anxiety was palpable; he nervously gnawed on his fingernails. "W-What if he sends one of his men to kidnap Rex?"
"I’ll protect him," I volunteered, raising my hand decisively.
"Including the mirror shards; I’ll safeguard them both," I continued. "In the worst-case scenario, I can just take Rex and escape on my bike," I added, trying to reinforce my resolve.
"Okay..." After contemplating for a moment, Cypher closed his eyes and finally spoke up. "It looks like we have no other choice but to do this."
"Damn it! Fine then! But don’t say I didn’t warn you if anything goes wrong," Christian stretched, loosening his body even as he grumbled, his thick muscles bulging intimidatingly. He knew the risks but also recognized that inaction was not an option.
Whitney cracked her whip, the sound sharp in the air. "Just you wait, Levi. We’ll tear you apart tonight," she growled, determination lighting her features.

The night sky was painted in deep shades of indigo, with the full moon hanging overhead, casting an eerie glow on the path.
Cypher, Edge, Whitney, Angela, and Christian moved quietly down the trail they had cautiously planned.
With Levi having taken control of the mirror shards, the world around them had altered drastically. The atmosphere around them felt heavy with despair; the vibrant colors of the landscape had faded into gloomy shades.
Grass appeared dull and lifeless, trees stood with crooked branches, stripped of their leaves, and the occasional rustle of wind was met with an uncomfortable silence. Even the wild animals that once thrived in this area seemed to be slowly disintegrating.
As they walked further for some time, they finally saw the town hall. It had been fortified, making it appear more like a fortress. High barricades surrounded the entrance, but no one was even protecting the barricade surrounding it.
"It’s clearly a trap," Christian muttered under his breath, instinctively tightening his grip on his weapon.
"Yeah, but do we really have a choice?" Edge retorted, his impatience bubbling beneath the surface.
