I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess-Chapter 66: Feeding Each Other? (edited)
After a few long hours of walking, they finally stumbled upon the familiar corner of a wall they’d grown to know all too well.
Walking from behind it, they stared at the violet tree whose body was still curved in an eclipse and had leaves that always seemed to be brimming and shining with light.
It was a comforting but also an ominous sight.
Lillian gave a loud sigh of relief, happy to no longer have to stumble through the dark like a fearful child. She stared up at the mysterious hole in the ceiling and furrowed her brows.
The waterfall of light was dimmer and much more paler in colour.
"I guess it’s night out there, huh?" Lillian outwardly thought, beginning her ascent up the curved hill.
After reaching the top, she turned her eyes towards Marionette to see her pressing her palm against the side of the tree with a focused expression.
While Lillian had been hard at work maintaining her control over her elements, Marionette was too, except she was studying the ominous tree that they’d been sleeping beside for many days.
From the leaves to the twigs to the branches and the body as well as the roots—nothing that was already exposed to her has been scrutinised rather closely.
"Well? Did you find anything about the tree?"
Lillian had asked her this very same question several times—only to be answered without fail:
"Perhaps..."
Lillian groaned, sitting on the ground and harshly rugging two sticks together until a warm spark between the two erupted into flames.
Gently placing down the two sticks and unloading more from her spacial storage into the hungry flame. She then felt a sense of hunger, followed by a slight rumble in her stomach.
She then pulled out two arms belonging to Catacomb Dwellers, holding on over the fire before looking back at Marionette.
"Hey Marionette, you hungry? I’m about to start cooking these limbs."
Marionette slowly twisted her head around to look at her—her eyes darting back and forth between the tree and Lillian.
She then ultimately decided to sit beside Lillian, tossing any related topics about the tree to the side and focusing her eyes on the roasting limb held in Lillian’s hand.
Lillian noticed how intently Marionette was staring at the roasting limb and curled her lips upwards at an ingenious plan.
She then asked Marionette, her voice playful and mischievous:
"Would you like me to feed you~?"
Marionette tilted her head to the side, slightly confused about Lillian’s question.
"I assumed you were. Is that not why you called me over?" she inquired stoically.
Marionette’s question caused Lillian’s smile to widen.
"No~ no~... I mean..." Lillian then raised the limb out of the fire, watching as its grease ran down it and dripped into the fire before holding it before Marionette’s mouth.
"I mean hand feed you myself~," Lillian smirked, anticipating her offer would get a reaction out of Marionette.
She was somewhat frustrated about being the only one getting teased and blushing uncontrollably like some fair maiden. She wanted Marionette to experience what she felt, even if it was just once.
However, Lillian seemed to have a hard time learning from her past mistakes related to Marionette, for Lillian watched as she casually opened her mouth and sank her teeth into the meat.

"Eh?"
Lillian then stayed frozen in place, holding out the limb for Marionette to eat from like a statue, watching as she tore small chunks from it.
This continued on until the entire thing was devoured in a matter of minutes.
Marionette pulled back and licked the grease around her lips before staring back at Lillian and nodding her head.
"Thank you."
"Eh... y-your welcome...?"
Marionette then stared at the remaining raw limb in Lillian’s hand.
"Would you like me to feed you, too?" she asked with a small tilt of her head.
"H-huh? O-oh, I’m fine!" Lillian stammered before watching Marionette reach over, grabbing it out of her hand and roasting it over the fire.
After a while, the now roasted limb was held before Lillian’s face, dripping in a small amount of grease.
"I insist." Marionette persisted, wiggling it before Lillian’s hesitant face.
Her trembling eyes then finally reflected in defeat, sighing. She pulled her mouth towards the roasted limb and bit into it, taking small chunks from it and chewing.
Her plan had backfired on her, as usual.
’How embarrassing...’ Lillian thought with an embarrassed look.
Marionette silently watched as Lillian ate, holding her free hand over her mouth, hiding whatever she was doing underneath it. Her eyes couldn’t help but shine each time Lillian went in to eat.
Or... that could either be due to the light from the fire being reflected into her deep red eyes.

After the two had finished eating, they eventually went off to sleep beside each other... very closely. Of course, this is the reason for warmth against the cold, as Lillian would say stubbornly.
Lillian, who was sleeping on her side, suddenly opened her eyes with a groggy expression. Confused about the reason why she had woken up. Could it be due to the cold?
She pondered about it before glancing down and staring at the arm wrapped around her side. She then stared up at Marionette’s sleeping face, which looked the same as she was awake—still.
She stared at her face deeply before glancing down at Marionette’s lips.
She still remembered the extra reward she could gain from her mission—a thought that had been pressed against the front of her mind the entire time.
Lillian then began to slowly lean in towards Marionette’s still sleeping face, feeling her breathing brush against her face.
Just as she was about to reach her lips, she froze once more—a hesitant expression appearing on her face once again.
Although Marionette may not seem bothered by a kiss from her, she couldn’t help but feel that wouldn’t be the right way to go about it since their relationship isn’t... exactly close...
But what’s considered close?
They slept together with their arms wrapped around each other’s bodies.
Tease each other with intimate and inappropriate meanings.
They were touchy with one another, although that’s mainly Marionette, because of bonding.
Lillian sighed and turned away from Marionette’s face, sleeping on her other side, ’I don’t need the reward anyway... as long as I survive... that’s good enough for me...’
Her thoughts eventually slowed. Her eyes grew heavy. And finally, she was taken away by the inevitable sense of sleepiness.
Just after closing her eyes, however, the opening of a single one appeared in the darkness.
Marionette stared at the back of Lillian’s head with one eye open before giving a small sigh and falling back to sleep as well.
