I Would Rather Be a Rogue [BL]-Chapter 124: Evening After
Chapter 124: Evening After
Felix must have dozed off after that, because when he opened his eyes again, the sky outside was already dark. His body was no longer heating up unbearably, he was left with only a light fever. His uncontrollable lust from earlier had also diminished. It wasn’t completely gone, he still had a great appetite and could go for at least a good few more rounds in bed, but he could endure it now.
It seems the potion the witch had fed him must have kicked in.
Speaking of the witch...
Felix’s cheeks flushed, as he recalled what had happened earlier.
’I want you to sleep with me.’
Ah, Felix was so embarrassed that he wanted the ground to open underneath him and swallow him whole! How was he ever to look Remi in the eyes again? Sure, he was in his heat, which explained his shameless behavior, but still!
They hadn’t gone all the way, though, even though Felix had given his explicit (although heat-influenced) permission. And Felix... was glad they hadn’t. Yes, he was attracted to the witch, he couldn’t deny that and wasn’t even going to try, but... He still didn’t know what their relationship was. He most certainly wasn’t ready to take things further.
Not to mention, there was still Kade. Their bond might have been broken, and they were taking a ’break’ which could potentially become permanent, so technically speaking, Felix hadn’t done anything wrong... But he still couldn’t help but feel iffy about it. He hasn’t forgotten that kiss they had shared, or when Kade in his wolf form had cuddled with him in bed... And he’d be lying if he said that thinking about that annoying Alpha didn’t make his heart skip a beat.
It was all so complicated, Felix couldn’t untangle his own feelings at all. Both men were attractive... And both were also dangerous, in a way. The witch seemed like a better option, since this way Felix could stay in Silverfall, leading a quiet, peaceful life...
But if he were to choose, he didn’t want any romance just yet. He would much rather just focus on his pup.
He sighed, and got up, gently pushing Remi aside. He was still in bed with Felix... But in his fox form. Curled up and clinging to the Omega’s side as always. As for Felix, he was all washed up and dressed in fresh pajamas. The sheets were also clean and dry... Although that was most likely a result of some spell, since they hadn’t been changed. Well, that didn’t matter, as long as they weren’t drenched in his slick, cum, and sweat.
The clock on his phone showed it was already close to 11 PM. Much later than Felix had expected. He quickly scrambled out of bed to check on Vivi...
But the girl was sleeping peacefully in her crib. Was it perhaps the mix of milk chocolate and jasmine pheromones still filling the air that kept her asleep for so long? Felix didn’t know, as it was an unfamiliar situation. Back in his former pack, pups were never kept in the room with their parents when they were going through the heat or the rut. It seemed that everything was fine, though, as Vivi looked happy and relaxed, her breathing calm. Even her diaper seemed to have been changed, as Felix noticed.
...Was it Remi’s doing? It must have been, since it was unlikely Felix could have done that in his sleep!
All the embarrassment aside, Felix was really glad to have the witch by his side. As his roommate that he was a bit close and intimate with. At least for now.
All of a sudden, a loud growling came from his stomach, as it demanded to be filled. The last time he ate a proper meal was around noon, then just a light snack at Brielle’s, so it was only natural that he was hungry. His heat came just as he was about to start on dinner...
It was a bit late for a solid meal now, but since Felix had just woken up after a few solid hours of sleep, he doubted he would be able to fall asleep soon anyway. Thus, he went to the kitchen to whip up something quick, but filling. He settled for chicken pasta with tomato sauce. Just as he was finishing up, Remi finally got out of bed and came to the kitchen, attracted by the scent of freshly cooked food.
In his fox form, of course. Acting as if he were nothing more but an innocent animal, an adorable house pet.
Not that it made Felix any less embarrassed. So what if Remi stayed in his fox form, when Felix knew very well that he was most certainly not JUST A FOX? fгeewёbnoѵel_cσm
Especially when the sneaky little thing rubbed against his legs, purring softly. Felix almost dropped the ladle he was holding. The form was different, but the scent was the same, and Felix couldn’t help but recall how the witch had touched him just a few hours before...
His face turned deep red, and he had to lean on the counter to support himself, taking deep breaths to try to calm down. It would be hard on any day to recall it and keep his mind clean and tranquil, let alone when he was still in his heat! The potion did help a lot, but it didn’t completely remove all the symptoms!
...If he was getting such a reaction when interacting with Remi the fox, then how was he going to face Remi the witch? Meeting the man right now might actually cause Felix to faint from overheating...
In such a case, he should probably wait a bit before visiting the witch’s house to discuss the job details. It was a bit problematic, since if he skipped a few days now, then he might have to wait until the next new moon... But it couldn’t be helped. He had more than enough money to survive, since the witch didn’t accept the payment from Kade the last time, it was only the Crossroads’ boss that Felix was concerned about. He didn’t want to make him wait for his answer for too long. Should he just talk to him first, even though his next job technically wasn’t fully secured yet...?
Letting out a sigh, Felix took out two plates from the cupboard, scooping a portion of chicken pasta for Remi, and then for himself.
"Come on, let’s eat," he said to his furry little friend.
Who still insisted on remaining furry, even as they sat (or, in Remi’s case, stood on the chair with his hind legs) at the table.
