I'll Raise My Future Omega Son-in-law-Chapter 122: EVIL SCHEME
"ARE YOU sure you want to meet Lee Heeju?"
Wonyoung raised an eyebrow. "Why, Hyung? Is there a reason you don’t want me to meet Ahjussi?"
"It’s not like that," Yun Dujun said while shaking his head. "I just thought that you didn’t want to see Lee Heeju."
"I just thought I owed Heeju Ahjussi an apology," Wonyoung said. Fortunately, his brain had quickly come up with an excuse as to why he suddenly wanted to see Lee Heeju. "The last time I saw him was when we met at the amusement park. And I kind of threw a tantrum then. I’m sure Heeju Ahjussi thought I was being rude not to even greet him, when he was the one who helped you book the amusement park for our Yuhyun."
Whew.
Wonyoung was amazed by his brain.
I can become a screenwriter at this rate.
"Well, I don’t think Lee Heeju found you rude at the time. He completely understands why you may have been upset."
"Then Ahjussi owes me an apology."
"Huh?"
"Ahjussi knows what he’s doing."
"Wonyoung-ah..."
"Hyung, just tell me if you don’t want me to meet Ahjussi instead of making excuses for Ahjussi."
"I’m not making excuses, Wonyoung-ah."
Wonyoung just shrugged.
And, yes, he was being a brat.
He was unapologetic, though.
However, Wonyoung forgot that not only they were fighting in front of the food— they were also fighting in front of the kids.
Unfortunately for him, Yun Yuhyun caught on.
"Daddy, Papa, are you fighting?" Yun Yuhyun asked nervously while looking back and forth between Wonyoung and Yun Dujun. "Is it because I went to the amusement park with Daddy and Uncle Heeju without Papa?"
Aigoo.
My son is really smart.
"Papa, I’m sorry," Yun Yuhyun said apologetically, placing his little hand on top of Wonyoung’s hand. "Next time, I’ll invite you as well. I don’t want Papa to feel left out again."
How mature.
And Wonyoung wasn’t being sarcastic towards his son. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
Yun Yuhyun was acting more mature than he was, so he felt ashamed of himself.
I know I’m doing this for the plan I made with Baekya, but it’s still embarrassing that my son is apologizing for something he shouldn’t be guilty of.
"Yuhyun-ah, it’s not like that," Wonyoung said while shaking his head. "You don’t have to apologize. It’s my fault for being small-minded."
"Papa, do you not like Uncle Heeju?"
Wonyoung was good at acting, but he didn’t want to lie to his son about his true feelings towards Lee Heeju. "It’s not that I don’t like Ahjussi, but I don’t hate him either. He’s just so-so."
"Then should I stop being friends with Uncle Heeju?"
"No, why would you do that? It’s a me problem. So, you don’t have to ruin your friendship with Ahjussi for my sake."
"But I don’t want you to be upset, Papa."
Aww.
"And that’s why I’m going to meet Ahjussi. We’re going to settle our differences," Wonyoung said. Ah, no. He lied this time. He couldn’t help it since he couldn’t tell Yun Yuhyun the real reason he wanted to meet Lee Heeju. "So, don’t worry too much, Yuhyun-ah."

"OPPA, you ended up in the hospital again. How long are you going to make me worry about you?"
Aigoo.
Wonyoung felt bad that Bae Gayoung, his younger cousin, had to worry about him.
That was why he personally dropped An Baekya off at his old apartment, even though Bae Gayoung volunteered to just pick up the kid.
"I visited the hospital, but you were still asleep when I got there," Bae Gayoung said, pouting. "I wanted to stay with you there because I was afraid you might end up in a comatose state again. But Dujun Oppa told me to focus on school because that was what you would have wanted me to do."
"And Dujun Hyung was right," Wonyoung said, patting Bae Gayoung’s head. "Thank you for listening to your brother-in-law, Gayoung-ah."
Bae Gayoung just nodded, still looking very worried. "Are you sure you’re fine now, Oppa?"
"Yep, so don’t worry about me," Wonyoung assured his cousin. "Anyway, I’m leaving An Baekya in your hands once again."
"Yes, Oppa. I’ll take care of Baekya," Bae Gayoung said, pausing for a moment. "But when will elementary school kids start their class, Oppa? We’ve already started our school a week ago. But Baekya and Yuhyun haven’t started their school yet, right?"
Ah.
Now that I think about it...
"I’ll ask Dujun Hyung about that later," Wonyoung said, lightly smacking himself on the head. "How could I forget something as important as the kids’ school?"
***
"APPA, are you hesitating about our plan now?"
Wonyoung blinked, wondering where An Baekya got that idea.
Right now, the two of them were in the room that the kid was using in his old apartment while Bae Gayoung was cooking lunch in the kitchen.
He couldn’t stay long, but he wanted to see An Baekya’s room before he left.
Hence, they ended up talking there.
The room isn’t soundproof, but Gayoung is making a lot of noise in the kitchen, so it should be fine to talk about this.
"What do you mean by that, Baekya?"
"I think I saw you waver when Yun Yuhyun asked if he should sever his friendship with Lee Heeju, Papa," An Baekya explained casually. "Did you feel guilty because our plan is to ruin Yun Dujun-ssi’s friendship with Lee Heeju? Which also means Yun Dujun-ssi might not allow Yun Yuhyun to meet Lee Heeju again."
Yeah, that was right.
"Admittedly, I didn’t think that far ahead. I feel bad that Yuhyun’s friendship with Heeju Ahjussi might get affected by what I’m about to do," Wonyoung admitted, pausing for a moment. "But, honestly, I’ll feel relieved if Yuhyun ends up liking me more than he likes Ahjussi."
"Then don’t waver, Appa," An Baekya said encouragingly. "Lee Heeju may have not yet done the bad things he had done to you in the past, but that doesn’t mean you should be complacent— get rid of him before he gets the chance to hurt you and ruin your family again."

"HYUNG, when do we enroll the kids?" Wonyoung asked Yun Dujun as soon as he returned to the car, sitting in the passenger seat. They didn’t bring Han Myung with them, so the Alpha was the one driving for today. "Bae Gayoung has already gone back to school, so the kids should be, too."
"Yun Yuhyun and An Baekya are already enrolled, and their school starts at the last week of March," Yun Dujun said. "I’m sorry, I forgot to tell you."
"It’s alright, Hyung. But when did you enroll the kids?"
"Aunt Rosa is in charge of that. She has already arranged everything so that Yuhyun and An Baekya would be in the same class." The Alpha paused for a moment. "Or should I ask Aunt Rosa to separate the kids?"
"No, spending time in the classroom should be fine. They’ll be with other kids, so I don’t think it would be bad if Yuhyun and Baekya become classmates."
"Alright then."
"How about the kids’ uniforms and other stuff?"
"Aunt Rosa has already taken care of those things, too. She had already ordered the kids’ customized uniforms a few weeks ago."
"Oh."
"What’s wrong?"
"I wanted to go shopping with the kids for their school stuff..."
"Ah. I’m sorry," Yun Dujun said, panic crossing his eyes. "I’m used to Aunt Rosa taking care of everything related to Yuhyun’s school, so it slipped my mind. Should I ask Aunt Rosa to cancel the things she ordered for the kids?"
"No, you don’t have to do that, Hyung. We’ll just go shopping next semester."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, Hyung."
"Alright, then." Yun Dujun fell silent for a moment before talking again. "Wonyoung-ah, you’re the only person I like. And you’re the only person I’ve been attracted to. Even while you were in a coma, the thought of being unfaithful to you has never crossed my mind."
Okay, Wonyoung’s heart wavered a little.
Even though his brain was screaming that Yun Dujun might only be acting, he couldn’t convince his heart that it was the case.
After all, he could feel the Alpha’s sincerity.
That’s why I need to know the truth the soonest.
"Wonyoung-ah, I belatedly realized that my friendship with Lee Heeju has given you reasons to doubt my feelings for you. I’m sorry about that. But I promise you that I will never give you a reason to be jealous of Lee Heeju, or of anyone, from now on," Yun Dujun promised, almost sounding desperate. Then he placed a hand on Wonyoung’s thigh and squeezed it gently. "Please trust me."
I want to, Hyung— and that’s exactly why I have to do this first.
"Actions speak louder than words, Hyung," Wonyoung said, placing his hand on top of Yun Dujun’s hand on his thigh. "Please continue proving to me every single day that I won’t regret loving you."

[YOU SENT Bae Wonyoung to Lee Heeju without warning him about the Alpha’s pheromones.]
An Baekya flinched when he read the System’s message.
He had just returned to his room after having lunch with Bae Gayoung when the old book suddenly popped up in front of his face.
Those were just texts, but he could tell that the System was scolding him.
"There are things that I can’t tell Appa directly. I know it’s risky, but I still want to trust Appa’s pheromones," An Baekya said, clenching his hands tightly. "I believe in Appa’s ability as the only Dominant Alpha who can handle Yun Dujun-ssi."
