Immortal of the Nine Realms-Chapter 1526: Im Not Going!
"In the past, Fangcun Constellation was incredibly prosperous, but now it indeed looks quite withered," remarked Daoist Yun Que with a chuckle as he followed behind Wang Chongsong, scanning the scenery below.
Wang Chongsong replied, "True. Otherwise, how could the Dao Enlightenment Platform have been smashed to pieces?"
"Don't even think about deceiving me. Whether it's broken or not, I'll have to see it with my own eyes first," Daoist Yun Que urged. "How much further? It's just a Dao Enlightenment Platform, yet you people insist on being so secretive. Can't you be a bit more open?"
"We're almost there. Don't be impatient, Senior."
After bringing Daoist Yun Que into Fangcun Mountain, Wang Chongsong avoided any interaction with the disciples. He led Daoist Yun Que directly into the deepest recesses of the mountain.
Layer after layer of restrictive seals were opened. When the final seal was deactivated, a scene of utter desolation met their eyes. This didn't look like a Dao Enlightenment Platform at all; it was a pure expanse of ruins.
Daoist Yun Que's expression turned grim. Had he not caught a faint, lingering scent of the Dao Enlightenment Platform in the air, he would have suspected Wang Chongsong of leading him somewhere else to fool him.
Narrowing his eyes, Daoist Yun Que asked, "Is this truly the Dao Enlightenment Platform of your Fangcun Mountain?"
Wang Chongsong nodded. "Absolutely. Back then, the founding ancestor of Fangcun Mountain attained enlightenment right here, comprehending four entire Paths of Immortality."
Daoist Yun Que said flatly, "I've heard of that, but whether it's true or not is too far in the past to verify. It was Human Immortal, Earth Immortal, Heaven Immortal, and Great Luo Immortal, right?"
A flash of sentimentality appeared in Wang Chongsong's eyes. He nodded. "Precisely."
Daoist Yun Que asked, "Did your father not leave any for you?"
Wang Chongsong looked slightly dazed. "What do you mean by that, Senior?"
"Stop acting. Your father's seniority is even greater than my own. If not for that, there's no way you could still be standing before me today," Daoist Yun Que stated indifferently. "I estimate you've undergone countless reincarnations over the years, but the inheritance of Fangcun Mountain surely fell into your hands."
Wang Chongsong fell silent for a few breaths before shaking his head slowly.
"Yes, and no," he said. "I do indeed know these complete pathways. However, as of now, all four pathways already have nine-transformation immortals occupying them. There is no point in you asking."
"Indeed, there is no point in asking," sighed Daoist Yun Que. He glanced at the ruins before him and sneered. "Might as well leave."
In a mere instant, he vanished without a trace.
Seeing that, Wang Chongsong couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. With a complex expression, he took one last look at the ruins, resealed the layers of restrictive spells one by one, and departed.
Not long after he left, Daoist Yun Que suddenly reappeared. He stood before the ruins once more, but this time, he reached into the debris and picked up a tiny, emerald-green seed.
A sigh sounded from behind Daoist Yun Que.
"Put it down. That seed only has a chance to sprout if it remains here."
A figure had appeared behind Daoist Yun Que.
Daoist Yun Que turned around. "You old brat!"
The newcomer was none other than Yun He.
"I was trapped in the Ghost Realm for so many years. Why didn't you think of a way to get me out?"
Yun He chuckled softly. "Back then, your foundation was too depleted. If I had let you out, would you have done anything but run around like a fool? It was better for you to rest there for a few years."
"Your memories must be more complete than mine, right? There are things I can't quite recall for now," said Daoist Yun Que, tossing the seed back into the soil.
"Your memory loss is the most severe. When the Forbidden Technique was cast back then, you were one of the core participants," explained Yun He. "Consequently, the backlash you suffered was far stronger than what the rest of us faced. However, having stayed at Great Thunder Sound for so many years, you've recovered quite a bit. You're only slightly worse off than us now."
Yun He continued, "If not for those years of rest, you'd likely be begging for scraps somewhere today, not even knowing who you are."
Daoist Yun Que replied noncommittally, "Is that so..."
Changing the subject, he asked, "You must know that that incredibly narcissistic fellow was beaten to a pulp, right? His blood flew everywhere. How pathetic."
Yun He nodded. "Indeed."
"He couldn't have just ended like that. Does he have a soul reincarnating in the world?" Daoist Yun Que probed. "If you know where he is, tell me immediately. I want to take this opportunity to go and toy with him a bit."
Yun He couldn't help but smile. "Even if he does have a soul reincarnating in the world, he would only be an insignificant junior to you now. As a senior, why go that far?"
Daoist Yun Que sneered. "Who told him to snatch my position as the Heavenly Dao back then? If I were the Heavenly Dao, would you all be in this wretched state today?"
Yun He shook his head. "He does indeed have a soul reincarnating in this world, but this era is not his era. He must continue to remain dormant. Don't concern yourself with that. Come with me to the Shenwang Realm. It is time to retrieve the Grand Limitless Divine Mirror from the Ancient Dragon God Palace."
Daoist Yun Que scoffed. "What Shenwang Realm? I'm not going! Since you won't tell me where that fellow's reincarnated soul is, I'll calculate it myself!"
Daoist Yun Que's eyes turned into two blazing suns as spiritual energy surged wildly around him. He pinched his fingers in a calculation and said with a touch of pride. "I've found him. His surname is Li."
Yun He smiled. "Then keep calculating. You might not have done any better than him."
"I will!"
Daoist Yun Que continued his calculations. A few breaths later, he froze, his eyes turning blank. Then, his eyes locked onto Yun He, and he frowned. "You old brat, why didn't you go to Great Thunder Sound to save me!?"
"Let's not talk about that for now. Come with me to the Shenwang Realm."
"Fine."

Fang Xiaotian and the others experienced for the first time how time truly left no trace during cultivation. Without realizing it, they had spent several decades aboard the Immortal Boat.
During this period, both Fang Xiaotian and Fang Xiaohua had made breakthroughs, their cultivation levels rising significantly. Sheng Wu had advanced from the Nascent Soul Realm to the Enlightenment Realm. Meanwhile, Duan Lingkong had begun practicing the sword techniques taught to him by Huang Wuji. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
Fang Chen gazed at the bright star ahead, feeling emotional. "We've arrived."
A single trip had taken two to three hundred years; if not for their long lifespans, such an endeavor would have been impossible to sustain.
The most excited among them were the external members of the various expedition teams. Reaching Enlightenment Star meant receiving merits and exchanging them for cultivation resources. It was the season of harvest.
The sugar glider stood up straight, stretched its limbs, and let out a long yawn. Then, with a burst of energy, it asked, "Are we reaching the Enlightenment Star?"
Fang Xiaotian and the others looked on in shock.
"What is that...?"
They had become quite familiar with Lin Yuan and the others over the decades, but had never seen this creature before.
"Daoist Miyu, we're indeed about to arrive," said Fang Chen with a smile.
The sugar glider looked happy. "That's good. I've almost finished all the bugs I brought."
Fang Xiaohua rushed forward and squealed, "What a cute little thing!"
She scooped up the sugar glider and couldn't help but pinch its cheeks a few times. "Ahhh! It's so cute!"
Ji Gang and the others instantly froze in shock. Fortunately, Daoist Miyu didn't seem to mind and simply allowed Fang Xiaohua to play with her.
