Sealyn, Esmeralda and Regis gave some speeches before the vessel began to move… they were the representants of the factions there, after all. At the same time, they also gave a name for the vessel, they decided to call it Star… it was too simple, so Rain decided to call it Death Star.

Still, everyone looked at him with suspicions… how could they accept such a name when they would live there for a while?

Regardless, after the departure, people watched as they moved away from Earth and they saw the planet becoming smaller and smaller in the distance. In no time, it was barely visible at naked eye. Before long, they began to look toward the sun… the journey already started on a dangerous note for all of the,

"So, we are going to approach the next planets in less than three days?" Esmeralda asked. "How are we going to investigat them?"

"We will approach using my domain if we find anything from a distance," Rain said. "At the same time, we will test a few things that I made to see if they can be useful for exploration in those harsh environments."

"Is it really impossible to live in those places?" Terra asked.

"It was supposed to be impossible a long time ago, since those places didn't have air and nothing could survivet there, much less grow," Rain said. "Still, the dragons found their way to survive in those places, probably just by feeding on the heat that the sun offered them."

"Was that really possible?" Terra asked while furrowing her eyebrows.

"Remember what the meteor dragons did, they controlled sunlight to become even more powerful," Rain said. "Their bodies could withstand and absorb pure and direct sunlight. While the other dragons might not have that trait, they wouldn't mind living there at the very least."

"Can't we just test those suits with magic?" Sealyn asked when Rain showed them a set of full plate armor that felt like clothes since they were so thin.

"I tested them on the vacuum, so they completely isolate the interior from the exterior, but just using heat to test their endurance won't work out," Rain said. "You will see why."

The armor of spatial exploration that Rain and Maxime created was quite the sigh for both magical and technological ingenuity. Its appearance was sleek and futuristic, resembling a set of full plate armor, yet its design was remarkably thin and flexible. The outer layer of the armor shimmered with a metallic sheen, reflecting the ambient light in a way that seemed almost ethereal.

The material composing the armor had a silvery hue, accentuated by subtle lines of iridescence that traversed its surface. The armor's surface exhibited a lattice-like pattern, reminiscent of dragon scales, providing both aesthetic appeal and structural reinforcement. The intricate patterns seemed to shift and dance when exposed to different angles of light, creating an illusion of fluidity.

The helmet of the armor featured a transparent visor, allowing for a clear view of the wearer's face. The visor itself had adaptive shading, adjusting to the intensity of light to protect the wearer's eyes from the harsh brightness of space. The overall design struck a balance between functionality and elegance, showcasing a blend of magical craftsmanship and advanced technology.

"... It looks surprisingly good considering that you created it as a side project," Esmeralda said.

"Maxime came with design, I just created the parts with magic," Rain shrugged. "These guys have too much free time in their hands, so they can do this much."

In any case, as the Star vessel approached its destination, the light of the sun looked more and more dazzling. Few people were able to ignore that and actually see the approach of Venus.

Venus, the second planet from the Sun, has a unique and distinctive appearance characterized by several key features. Venus is often referred to as the "Evening Star" or the "Morning Star" because it is one of the brightest objects in the night sky. Its thick atmosphere reflects sunlight, making it highly reflective.

Venus has a thick atmosphere composed mostly of carbon dioxide with clouds primarily made of sulfuric acid. These clouds give Venus a yellowish appearance when viewed from space. It had a surface with extensive volcanic features, including large shield volcanoes and vast plains of volcanic material.

When the planet became clear at naked eye, the telescope was able to capture a lot of things on its surface… the planet had lost its round shape at some point… a huge chunk of it was missing… like it had been hit and pierced by something that had destroyed twenty percent of its surface.

"You didn't tell us about that…" Regis said.

"Can you explain what you see?" Rain asked.

"... I understand, few words could explain it," Regis said while rubbing his eyes. "Anyway, do you see anything there."

"Not yet, we will have to stop moving and wait for the planet to rotate fully to show all of is surface," Rain said. "Still, I find hard to imagine that the dragons would live here."

Alongside the telescope, Rain used Magic Eyes as well, and he didn't find any traces of mana anywhere… that was within his expectations, though. The first dragons probably never stopped there… even more so if Rain's guess was right and they truly were must an amalgamation of mutations of living beings from Earth.

In any case, the rotation speed of Venus was very slow… it takes 243 days to complete a rotation on its axis… Rain only learned that after seeing the planet for a while and when he inquired Sakaki about it, he said that he just recalled that. That guy wasn't reliable one hundred percent of the time, apparently.

In any case, Rain used the Star to make it move around the planet and checked the clear and shadow parts of the planet. Even though he couldn't see everything clearly on the shadow part, he didn't find any traces of mana, so the dragons didn't leave anything there…
