"I’m not really sure about any of the options that you have given. After all, at the end of it all, your father is bound to know.
By now, due to how intense we have been investigating, I’m pretty sure that your father has already began suspecting something.
So, whether we continue investigating, or you go there personally, your father is going to know about it anyway." Chris responded as he shook his head.
Henry rubbed his chin, thinking about it, realizing that what Chris said was actually true.
There was a time that he had asked his father about his uncle, but his father had told him not to ask about it. And when he tried to investigate about it, he was once again stopped by his father.
Thinking about his father’s expression at that time, Henry understood that if his father came to know about this, it would be impossible not to face him. And, there was a possibility that he would end up facing his father’s wrath.
But thinking about the possibility of meeting this person called Michael Santos, even if he was not his cousin, Henry looked forward to it.
So, a slightly crazy smile appeared on his lips as he said, "It doesn’t matter if my old man knows or not. Regardless of the situation, I must meet this person. I want to know, just what kind of ability do they have, to the extent that they can erase all their information online.
This is something that seems impossible, and should attract the attention of the government as well. But for some reason, as you have said, he is in Brenton city of the eastern province. Most probably, he is living quite well there.
Additionally, with his ability to be able to acquire the shares of Vanguard corporation, it is clear that he is not simple.
If he is related to our Santos family, then undoubtedly, there is someone within the family that is supporting him. I don’t believe that without any links to our Santos family, he can have the ability of acquiring the shares of a huge corporation like Vanguard."

Riiiing! Riiiing!
Dwayne was just dozing in the office after a hectic day, wanting to relax a little bit, before heading back home, when his phone suddenly began ringing.
The ringtone, that he had personally selected, thinking that it sounded great, now felt irritating to his ears.
Though disgruntled, he fought off the wariness and sleep in his eyes, as he picked the phone that was on the top of his desk.
As he gazed at the screen of the phone, he realized that the person who was calling him was none other than his secretary.
"What is it? Have you encountered a problem with the negotiation there?" Dwayne asked, slightly puzzled.
He had sent his secretary to deal with a negotiation that he could not deal with personally, and she had only left today. She was expected to come back the following day.
Unexpectedly, she had called him, making him wonder what was going on. Could it be that such a simple negotiation had encountered an unexpected twist?
"Boss, do you not know? At the moment, several of the shareholders of the company are selling their shares to someone. For now, I am not sure who it is that they are selling the shares to, but maybe you can verify from your end?" His secretary’s panicked voice came through the phone’s earpiece, stunning Dwayne.
Some of the shareholders were selling their shares? How was that even possible? After all, doing knew that many of the shareholders of the company had been approached by several people with various offers.
But since the time that Vanguard Corporation had gone public, until now, there had only been a few times when several shareholders sold their shares.
Additionally, during each time, it was not as though several shareholders sold their shares at the same time. Instead, there was usually a gap of at least several months in between them.
But now, from what his secretary was telling him, it was clear that several of them were actually selling shares at the same time?
"Tell me what you know." Dwayne’s expression became serious as he asked in a solemn voice.
"According to what I know, quite a number of shareholders have agreed to sell their shares, and the total number of shares being sold this time should be approaching about 30%.
Since all of them are being sold to the same person or same force, it is inevitable that the position of the majority shareholder is going to shift.
I’m afraid that this might end up impacting the company, and if the other party has other plans that might end up negatively affecting the company, it would be troublesome to deal with." The secretary revealed.
Unknowingly, beads of sweat had already begun appearing on Dwayne’s forehead. His back was also drenched in sweat, as he thought of the possibility of the control of the company that he had built being taken away from him.
Just thinking about it made him suffocated inside. How could he allow the work that he had done over the years to be wasted by someone, especially if the company ended up collapsing.
Dwayne was usually kind of pessimistic. So right now, he did not even think of the possibility that the person taking over the shares had good intentions towards the company.
To him, such a mass acquisition of shares definitely had a reason behind them. And there was a possibility that the reason was not something that would be pleasant.
He subconsciously took off his rectangular glasses, placing them on top of the desk. He was silent for quite a while, as a myriad of thoughts whirled through his mind.
Finally, he took a deep breath, before he said, "Okay, just focus on what you are supposed to do on your side. Make sure that nothing goes wrong. As for the issue of the acquisition of the shares, let me handle them. I would like to see who it is that is capable of acquiring the shares like this."
After that, Dwayne ended the call, as he thought of the possibilities of who might be behind this. Being one of the top security firms in the world, Vanguard corporation had many eyes on it.
Quite a number of people had tried acquiring Vanguard Corporation, but in the end, they usually failed. After all, while it might be true that Vanguard corporation did not have a market value as high as those big conglomerates, it still had quite a number of connections.
By leveraging on those connections, it was impossible for anyone to be able to easily take down Vanguard corporation. But now, something unexpected had happened.
As he thought of this, he immediately decided to make a call. He contacted several of the shareholders that were reported by his secretary to have decided to sell their shares.
It was just that, the response that he received made his heart feel a chill.
According to them, the offer that they had received was something that they could not resist. The price that the other party was offering was what could allow them to be able to buy shares elsewhere, or invest in something bigger.
Additionally, they thought, forming a connection with whoever it was that was buying the shares, was way better than the connections that Vanguard Corporation had.
After all, those selling the shares seem to have known that others were also selling their shares. So, someone that was able to fork out such a huge amount of money at once, how could baby simple?
As he ended the last call, Dwayne felt listless. What could he do? After all, when he said that he was willing to offer a price that was 10% higher than what they had been given, he was a little refused.
First of all, Dwayne had promised that he would be able to pay for the acquisition of the shares within the next two years. That was something that neither of those selling the shares accepted, considering that they were receiving the money immediately after signing the contract.
Secondly, they thought that since they had already agreed, and had already signed an initial contract, it was impossible for them to go back on their words. So, even if a better offer appeared at the moment, they could not agree to it.
At this point, Dwayne understood that the other party was well prepared. So, what should he do?
Just from those that he had called, including the other possible shareholders that he did not know about, the total number of shares should be approaching 30%.
He currently held 26% of the shares, but with the other party holding 30% of the shares, he would be having the most say within the company.
Just thinking about the policies that he had established being overruled, or changed, he felt despair. After all, he had already laid a foundation for the future development of Vanguard Corporation.
But at this point, his phone suddenly run with a notification. Despite his current emotional state, Dwayne still checked the message, only to realize that it was an update on the shareholders.
It was at this point that he finally knew who it was that had purchased the shares. Currently, among the shareholders, he had already been pushed to the second place.
As for the one that was holding the first place, it was none other than Michael Santos, holding a total of 46% of the shares!
"Seriously? You are telling me that he is the one who has been acquiring all the shares? What is his background really?" Dwayne suddenly stood up as he exclaimed, inevitably thinking about the investigation that he had been carrying out for quite a while now.
