Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!-Chapter 374 - One on One Talks with the Fiancés (Part 2)
Chapter 374: Chapter 374 - One on One Talks with the Fiancés (Part 2)
After a few more banters between the two to annoy each other, I followed Luxiel out of the Casimir territory as we teleported to his side of the territory. Taking inspiration from what Altair just did, he also brought me to his own place, the Flynn territory to show me around.
True to the strength that his family and him as their only son is so proud of, the territory looked much clean than Casimir territory and even the areas of the palace with me cleaning it with the same amount of time that he got. All the debris like fallen rocks, excess soil, dead trees, pieces of broken houses and any other fallen structures have been tidied up and piled on one side for disposal later, making the whole territory a flat land except for his grand mansion that is still standing magnificently in the northern side of the territory. It also seems like he chose to focus on rebuilding the mansion and the perimeter walls first.
I couldn’t help but look at this grumpy and normally impulsive guy in a different light. He seemed to have noticed that I was looking at him so he looked my way and gave me a goofy smile. I chuckled at his child-like reaction and asked, "Those are huge pile of debris you have there. What are you planning to do with all of them?"
He turned his head and looked at the direction where the huge piles of debris were and answered, "I still have to sort those things on those piles to ensure I can still reuse what can still be reused. The dead plants and trees can still be used as fertilizer for the farm area I will be building. The broken stones can be crushed and reused as part of the foundation for new structures and the walls. As for the other trash, I’ll just burn them to dust with my mana. It is just taking a lot of time than I expected since I am working alone."
I looked at him and shook my head as I replied, "You are doing quite well for someone who is working alone. I remember when I first arrived here in Eieneos, the whole kingdom is full of debris and I had to work alone too. You worked quite quickly actually. As for everything else, you can take your time cleaning them up."
He smiled shyly as if not used to being complimented. He looked away and then led me towards the Flynn mansion which had a bolder design than the previous mansion I was in. They have the huge family crest on top of the mansion gates. The choice of color for the walls were shades of brown, deep red and a bit of gold in certain areas. It shows how free and proud the original owner of the household was.
Luxiel guided me inside his mansion and I was surprised that the inside looked way neater compared to the piles of debris I saw earlier. He must have started with this one first before working on the outside. He did well in cleaning up and fixing things inside the mansion as if he was expecting visitors since the place looked newly built. He was even conscious enough to have prepared some snacks and refreshments for our meeting today. I couldn’t help but wonder again how a rough and rugged looking man can arranged such a delicate looking household.
Once we were seated, just like his straightforward personality, he went straight to the issue at hand. He asked me directly, "When do you plan to sleep with me and make me yours?"
The hand that was holding the teacup that I have just touched on my lips flinched with the very direct question and my eyes slowly looked up at Luxiel’s excited but obviously worried face. I lowered the teacup on the table as calmly as I could and answered, "Would you accept it if I just say "soon"?"
His eyebrows furrowed as he looked down as if contemplating something carefully. After a few seconds he looked up and answered with serious face, "No. I need a definite date or time like "tomorrow", "next week on Tuesday" or something like "15th of the next month". I don’t like that "soon" you are talking about."
I could not help but laugh softly at how simple and cute his reaction was while he was trying his best to hide his irritation and answer me as politely as he can. With an amused smile on my face, I replied to him, "I think there will be a little problem. I promised Samir to take him first then Altair would be next. Sure I can take you after Altair but..."
His eyes which looked irritated just a minute ago looked a little more hopeful as he said, "I don’t mind about who goes first! I believe that you would still end up liking more whoever performed best in his husband duties. Wait. What do you mean by the "but" at the end?"
I smiled at him meaningfully and replied, "The first two never bothered to ask for a specific time frame as to when I would officially accept them in to my household. If your waiting time will depend on their turns, I don’t really know what time frame to give you. I don’t want to lie or just give you false hope that it would be "soon". If you want a definite answer, you may have to talk to those two so we can all discuss together about that specific time frame that you want." ƒгeewebnovёl_com
After hearing my still indefinite answer and after knowing that he has to depend on the others to get his turn, Luxiel couldn’t help but have a scowl on his face. He looked at me like I have asked him to do something that he hated. Was talking to Samir and Altair such a hassle for him? Well, I at least know that Samir isn’t that difficult to talk to. I am just not sure what type of relationship Luxiel has with Altair.
After battling his own thoughts in silence for almost a minute, he still ended up nodding to my proposal about speaking with the other two though his face shows that he is being forced to do something he did not want to do. It is not like he had any other choice though. I trust that they should be able to settle it amongst themselves before letting me know given that they practically grew up together.
Just like with Altair, Luxiel and I spent the rest of our time together with some small talk and simply took turns asking each other some getting-to-know-you questions so we can get more familiar. He only talked about his family in passing and I did not ask anything further as he looked a bit uncomfortable about the topic. I understood that no matter how strict his parents were to him, in the end, they are still his parents and the fact that they are no longer with him would still give him unpleasant feelings.
For someone who is known for his temper, he was quite easy and light to talk to. He consciously always opted to use polite words when speaking to me. If this was a blind date, I would gladly give him a second date just for his manners alone. The others always call him "nothing but muscle" or "not that smart" but if you speak to him, he is actually quite refreshing to talk to simply because he knew many things about different topics and he was the type who is straightforward and honest about what he thinks.
The one hour that was allotted for our meeting ended quite quickly before we know it. We only noticed that the time was up when we heard a polite knock coming from the front door of the Flynn mansion. Luxiel excused himself, stood up and made his way leisurely to the front door. When he opened the door, the one who was standing outside was Touya.
Luxiel smirked at him as if rubbing on his face about the fact that he won the sparring session earlier which in turn gave the red haired man his turn before anybody else. Touya looked at him coldly, his face not showing any irritation as if everything is beneath him.
He walked inside the Flynn mansion and even bumped Luxiel’s shoulder on purpose. For someone as muscular as Luxiel, I heard him gasp and grab on his shoulder as if that slight bump broke a bone. Luxiel looked stunned as he looked back to where Touya was as the thinner guy scoffed softly.
Ignoring whatever grievances Luxiel had, Touya continued walking towards where I was sitting. I continued finishing my remaining tea and just looked at him calmly. He then stared at me for several seconds without saying anything. He then sighed and spoke in a polite tone which I never heard him use with the others before, "I apologize to cut your fun conversation short but as agreed, the one hour you have with that guy over there is over. I would like to invite you to visit the Amagai territory next after you have finished your tea."
