Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!-Chapter 417 - Like a Moth to Flame
Chapter 417: Chapter 417 - Like a Moth to Flame
I heard a groan as Clarence’s bottom hit the hard ground. He looked up at me, full of blame in his eyes. Well, I did apologize and helped him up afterwards but I am really not that sorry really since he stalked me first. I opened the door of my house, went in and shut him out.
Not even a few seconds has passed when I heard him shouting and banging on the door angrily. I opened the door a bit, just enough to peak outside and asked what he needed.
He sighed heavily as if trying to contain his annoyance and replied, "I obviously am following you because I want to talk to you in private. The only private place I could think of would be your home. I know that you feel uncomfortable staying inside the chapel. I would have talked to you last night but you went ahead and avoided all of us by staying in the forest."
I chuckled then responded, "So you knew I was avoiding your group so why are you here now? You also know I do not want any private conversations with anybody. Do you think I am kind or harmless in any way, Mr. Priest that you keep on trying to approach me?"
He looked at me with widened eyes, full of disbelief on how different my tone of speech was now that it was just the two of us talking. I usually speak formally and politely with the chief, his wife and everyone else that I meet.
I smirked naughtily at him then slipped my hand out of the gap I made with the door. I reached for the front of his clothes and grabbed him, pulling him into the inside of my house in one swoop. I slammed his back on to the door and used his body to shut it.
He gasped and coughed a bit due to the impact of his back hitting the door. I let go of his clothes and walked further inside my house. I heard him slip down the door with a scraping sound then a thud. He ended up sitting on the ground again.
Oh, I think I pushed him towards the door too hard. Well, I am trying to scare him off so it should be fine. freewebnoveℓ.com
After he got his bearings back, he looked around my house and I can see his surprise as to how my house looked so big inside compared to the quaint and run down hut look outside. I looked at him in amusement and made sure to cut his wandering thoughts early by saying, "This is the reason why I don’t like sudden visitors. I had this feature disabled two nights ago when the 7 of you decided to disturb my peace."
He looked at me and opened his mouth, seemingly wanting to say something to defend himself but I cut him off again by adding, "Whatever you want to discuss with me, most likely, I won’t be interested in it. Since you willingly approached me and even wanted to get inside my house, you got what you wanted since here we are. Getting inside my house isn’t free so as payment, there is something that I wanted to take from you then, my willing victim."
He was still by the door so I grabbed his collar and lifted him up so he is standing. I grabbed both of his wrists and pinned them above his head while keeping eye contact with him. His eyes were puzzled and starting to show fear.
I don’t have any intention on clearing things up but I still said, "Whatever questions you have about me, save it. I won’t answer or tell you anything because that is just stupid. Well, I can just tinker with your memories anyway so you won’t remember anything about this situation we are in later."
His eyes widened as he wearily asked, "What do you mean by that?" My response was a kiss on his lips to seal it and stop whatever he is going to say next. My other hand then slipped inside his clothes and stopped right on top of his lower abdomen, ready to extract his seeds.
He grunted, whined and tried to squirm out of my grasp. His body is much honest though as his skin heated up real quickly with the sudden skin contact. I released some of my scent and mana which eventually turned him limp as his eyes turned into a misty daze. When he finally stopped resisting, my job became easier to complete.
Once I am done with what I needed from him, I released his hands and made sure to fix his clothes and hair that had become disheveled from struggling earlier. I placed an invisible thumb ring on his right hand so I can monitor his whereabouts all the time. Once I am contented with how he looked, I went on to the next step.
I gave his mind an order through a whisper to simply walk out of my house and return to the chapel. Once he is there, I instructed him to sleep for a few hours and he would forget about wanting to find me once he wakes up. I also tinkered with his memories a bit so he won’t remember anything about his visit at my house or anything that he saw, felt or heard in it. He then absentmindedly walked out of my house and went on his way.
That is one down for my seed gathering task from my father. I do feel that this seed source is going to bring me a lot more trouble in the future though but that is a problem for the future me, I guess. I just hope that more people willingly offer their seeds to me.
If more people visit out of the blue, I may harvest more in this way. This option of harvesting seeds gives me the least hassle anyways. I am deciding against taking the seeds from the other six males’ since they are technically from the same clan. I do not want to cut their bloodlines because of my task and I don’t plan on giving custody to my kids too.
I went on ahead with my day doing other tasks, totally forgetting about what happened between Clarence and I earlier. I did not go ahead with taking more seeds from others since I do think these men would love to get married and have kids the normal way.
Once the persistent priest is gone, I started packing up my stuff, preparing my horses and my wagon since my work in this village is completed. It is time to go further up north.
