"The ability's speed has also increased. The mantis was fast, but not this much before, Young Master," Clara stated while thinking.

"Really? It's always a blur for me, so I can't tell. But this is good enough for now. After some sleep, let's go to the forest again. I want to reach level 4 as soon as possible now," Theo stated, and there was a lot of impatience and excitement in his voice.

"You have done a lot today, Young Master. Now, take a LOT of sleep," Clara stated with persistence.

"Yes, yes," Theo stood on the side where Clara made him change into his nightwear.

It was not in his hands; all the younger heirs were supposed to be groomed by the attendants. Theo had become so desensitized about it that he really didn't care if someone was helping him bathe or put on some clothes. It was a weird thing that he didn't experience in his more luxurious previous life either.

Theo went to bed, and the mantis was kept inside the terrarium for the night. Clara came and placed the blanket over him and stated, "There is a meeting of attendants in the morning, so I might be a little late, Young Master. But if that is the case, someone else will tend to you."

"Someone else?" Theo asked with a frown. There had not been a single case like this ever.

"Yes, but I will be back as soon as it is over, then we can go to the forest."

Theo nodded and bid Clara goodnight. The moment he closed his eyes, his consciousness faded, and he fell asleep right away. Even in his sleep, there was a smile from having leveled up the skill once in a day.

The next morning, Theo woke up at sunrise due to sleeping early.

He looked around to see if there was anyone in the room right now.

'So she really is in a meeting, huh? Well, might as well get up and do some work.'

According to the usual time, there was still a lot of time before Clara would come back, and in the case of the meeting, it could take even longer.

Theo freshened up quickly and went to his terrarium. It was a very quiet place, much like how some crickets always made sounds.

Theo went and looked at each and every good insect of his. The spider was doing well in its box. The silkworm too.

After feeding them all, Theo went to the terrarium only to see that there was no movement in the big forest biome at all.

When he focused a little, he finally saw the mantis sitting on the only mossy area of the terrarium.

Its hind might have been moving up and down, yet Theo could tell right away that it was sleeping.

There was nothing left inside the terrarium to hunt and eat anymore.

Theo let the mantis sleep for now; there was a hectic day ahead of them.

Now that he had fed everyone everything, he went outside the room and looked everywhere.

'I have nothing to do, have I?' he thought to himself.

Aside from training the mantis, Theo thought that there was nothing he had to do in this world.

He roamed around the room, read his journal one more time, and only twenty minutes had gone by. There were still a few hours left until progress could start.

'What should I do?' Theo thought, his hand on his chin.

He looked at the room one more time before his eyes got stuck on the new thing in his room.

He went to it and scraped the rough yet elegant-looking rope on the dummy with his nail.

It had a very rough exterior, and his finger vibrated just by scraping it. Theo crouched down and felt the scratches the mantis had made. They were not deep, to say the least, but having made scratches on this thing was still a noteworthy achievement.

A human like him wouldn't even be able to do this much on it, seeing Theo's nails.

'Should I train my body too?' A thought came to his mind. Theo mused over the thought for a while before he made a punch and just fake-punched the dummy without any strength.

That was when he realized something; the exterior was so hard that Theo felt the roughness dig into his knuckles.

'Am I that weak?' Theo thought with a frown. It was just a random thought, as the ropes were rough to begin with.

He curiously got down on the floor and tried doing some push-ups.

After going halfway through the second push-up, Theo quickly got up. He wasn't able to do it as he expected.

'Is this because of my age… or…' Theo didn't like the idea of him being weak.

He was still an eight-year-old boy, but in his eyes, training was important. He trained quite frequently in his past life even when he had no need for it.

But now? There was a much better need. Not a single older son he saw in his family was frail like him.

'There are so many things that I did in my previous life that I have just forgotten in this one… Is this normal?' Theo asked a question to himself, one for which he knew getting an answer was tough, if not impossible.

He quickly did some squats to help his knees, which felt like they hadn't been bent for quite some time. After the fifth squat, he stopped.

That was the day Theo realized that training the body was also important.

He was not in a world like some shows in his past life depicted.

He was not a trainer who would just fight some beast, and if his beast got defeated, the enemy beast would just leave. No, it would rip Theo into shreds just by being in its territory.

It was after a long time that Theo had so much time to think about things other than taming.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

The door knocked and opened right away. Theo knew who had a habit like this, and he smiled at her.

"You're finally here,"
