Landing on Her Heart: Mr. Warner, Let's Get Back Together!-Chapter 196: Elias Warner’s First Time
Annelise said coldly, "Whether it was intentional, only she knows!"
"Annelise, quickly apologize to Sylvia. If you burned Sylvia’s arm, can you afford the consequences, hmm? She’s going to wear a wedding dress in a few days!" Renee Perry approached Sylvia Lowell with deep concern, checking her arm.
"I will not apologize. If there’s nothing else, I’ll be leaving first!"
Annelise’s attitude was unkind.
Previously, she was good to Sylvia Lowell purely because she thought of her as her best friend.
Now, she had seen Sylvia Lowell’s true colors clearly.
To expect her to apologize to Sylvia Lowell was simply out of the question.
Mama Langdon, being quick-witted, hurriedly brought over the first aid kit.
She applied burn ointment to both Annelise and Sylvia Lowell.
Annelise thanked Mama Langdon.
Renee Perry frowned, glaring at Mama Langdon, then at Elias Warner.
"Elias, what’s wrong with you? Hurry up and apply the medicine to Sylvia!"
Renee was anxious.
After all, he was Sylvia Lowell’s fiancé and didn’t seem to care at all.
"Let Mama Langdon do it. I’m not familiar with such things!" Elias Warner didn’t even glance at Sylvia Lowell.
"Elias! What are you trying to do? Sylvia is your fiancée, aren’t you supposed to take care of her? Annelise, you’re here too, and so is Sylvia, so let’s be straightforward. I’ve already moved your wedding date with Sylvia to tomorrow; you’re getting married tomorrow!"
Renee gave Elias Warner a steely look.
She knew exactly what her son was thinking.
"Who wants to get married? Mom, I’m not a kid anymore. I have my own plans for marriage. If you insist on forcing me to marry, then find someone else to marry her, because I won’t do it!"
Elias Warner gave Sylvia Lowell a stern look.
He had just seen clearly how she framed Annelise, causing her injury.
Elias Warner took Annelise by the hand and headed out.
"You! You are trying to anger me to death...!"
Renee Perry clutched her chest and collapsed to the ground.
Mama Langdon and Sylvia Lowell rushed to help her up.
"Hurry, call the doctor, the mistress is having a heart attack!" Mama Langdon quickly took out the phone.
Elias Warner paused for only a few seconds, then prepared to leave with Annelise again.
Uncle Ford blocked their path.
"Young Master, the mistress is having a heart attack. Don’t be stubborn anymore. You should stay and check on her condition to prevent gossip. Acting this way will only bring gossip to Miss Winter as well!"
Faced with concerns involving Annelise, only then did he slightly calm down.
He took Annelise back inside.
While he was at it, he applied ointment for Annelise.
Even if Annelise refused, he was resolute.
The family doctor arrived shortly, diagnosed Renee Perry, and revived her.
Renee Perry looked at Elias Warner and barked coldly, "Elias, go register the marriage for me now. If you don’t, you’re trying to drive me to death! If you’re planning to drive me to death, then don’t register!"
Elias Warner’s fingers dug into his palms.
The pain from his palms resonated as he responded icily, "Fine, if you force me like this, then I’ll register the marriage!"
"Really? You should have done this sooner!" Renee Perry said, with Mama Langdon supporting her as she stood up.
Sylvia Lowell was shocked, but inside she was overjoyed.
She glanced at Annelise, as if showing off.
Annelise looked down in silence.
But inside, it felt as if she was being cut by a knife.
"Nothing, I’ll just leave now!"
Annelise no longer wanted to stay here. She suddenly felt like she was an outsider.
The three people in front of her were about to become a family.
"Annelise, what do you mean by that? Your brother and sister-in-law are getting married, and you want to leave? You’re not happy?"
Renee Perry also seemed to be mocking Annelise.
"You’ll stay here tonight, and tomorrow attend your brother and sister-in-law’s wedding banquet. Your bridesmaid dress is ready, just wear it tomorrow!"
It was a harsh blow, having Renee Perry want her to wear a bridesmaid dress and watch Elias marry another woman.
"Fine, but don’t forget what you promised me with The Airline!"
Though Annelise didn’t spell it out, Renee Perry immediately understood it was a negotiation based on their previous agreement.
This was the outcome Renee Perry hoped for, so she naturally agreed.
Renee Perry scoffed, thinking that this wretched girl should have done this from the start.
If things had gone this way from the beginning, there wouldn’t have been so many issues.
Now that everything was settled, it was for the best.
"Fine, since you are the goddaughter of the Warner Family, I’ll agree to anything you want!"
Renee Perry shot Annelise a look, implying that if she continued, Elias Warner might find out, and leaving wouldn’t be easy.
"Alright, everyone clean up and go to bed early. There’s important business to attend to tomorrow!"
Annelise stayed, returning to the place she once lived at the Warner Family residence.
The room was filled with countless memories for her.
She used to think that Renee Perry treated her kindly and regarded her as a true daughter.
Later she realized it was only because they’d discovered she was a fake heiress and were afraid she’d cling to Elias; thus, they acknowledged her as the goddaughter.
The journey had been exhausting.
Just now, what she asked Renee Perry was confirmed, and soon she’d be able to leave Kybourne.
Yet she still felt a hollow emptiness in her heart.
She gently caressed the bed here, everything here held unforgettable memories for her.
Thus, she felt even more exhausted both physically and mentally.
She hurried to the bathroom, planning to soak in a good bath.
Next door
Elias Warner lay on the bed, taking out the documents he had collected from Annelise Winter’s apartment today.
Passport, ID card, household registration booklet.
The photos on the passport and ID card were from many years ago.
Back then, Annelise Winter’s eyes shone bright, she was cheerful and innocent every day.
Now Annelise had changed, changed in a way he found difficult to fathom, difficult to approach.
It seemed she disliked him greatly.
But why did she dislike him so much?
Annelise soaked in the bath for a half hour before coming out wrapped in a towel.
Returning to the bedroom, she unexpectedly found Sylvia Lowell there as well.
She was shocked, she distinctly remembered locking the door, how did Sylvia get in?
"What are you doing here, get out!"
Annelise frowned, she had nothing to say to Sylvia right now.
Sylvia originally wanted to continue flaunting, to prove that Annelise was her defeated adversary.
Unexpectedly, she saw the tattoo on Annelise’s soft spot.
The strikingly bold letters: Elias Warner.
Her heart felt pecked at by something, her hands clenched tightly, her gaze cold as ice.
She was also only wearing a lingerie set.
This was her ploy for Annelise.
Thinking about how Annelise would see her like this and then let her imagination run wild.
"Elias is taking a bath, so I thought I’d use your bathroom!"
"Get out!"
Annelise didn’t say much more.
"Annelise, no matter how jealous you are of me, it won’t work. I’m about to marry Elias, he’ll only be mine. Look at your pathetic self, you even have Elias’s name tattooed on you. Do you think he’ll still sleep with you? Men love novelty, you know, and when he’s sleeping with me, he loves me to death, especially when I wear this kind of sexy lingerie!"
Sylvia deliberately thrust her chest out.
"So what? You came here to show off? Sylvia, in my eyes, you’re nothing more than a clown. Is this all you have to boast about? Elias’s first time was with me when I was twenty. You’re just sleeping with my leftovers now! I’ve had enough, I don’t want it anymore, you think it’s a treasure?"
Annelise mocked.
After speaking, she glanced towards the door.
And saw Elias standing outside without her knowing.
Sylvia raised her eyebrow, that had been her goal.
"Elias? You came? I was just using Annelise’s bathroom, you see how nasty she talks, calling you her unwanted leftovers, I think she’s mistaken."
Annelise found it hard to argue.
Forget it, the words were indeed spoken by her, even if she wanted to explain, he wouldn’t believe her, right? Better not to explain.
Let the misunderstanding stand, she was leaving soon anyway.
And she was about to leave.
"Why are you dressed like that? Get out!" Elias glared at Sylvia.
"This kind of sexy lingerie doesn’t suit you at all, you’re too flat there!"
Elias mocked, glancing at Annelise again.
Annelise nervously pulled the towel wrapped around her higher.
Sylvia was jealous.
But showed no intention of leaving.
"Leave, come with me!"
Elias gave Sylvia a look.
Then left Annelise’s room.
Annelise felt very down.
Could it be that Elias really liked this kind of sexy lingerie?
So did he rush off with Sylvia eager for this?
Dog man!
Saying one thing with his mouth, acting truthfully.
Sylvia followed Elias out but doubled back halfway.
She gave Annelise a glare: "Annelise, you must be going crazy, right? You can lie on the wall tonight and listen to how Elias and I do it!"
Annelise wanted to mock Sylvia, but it was precisely because of Sylvia’s words, as if sharp like a sword, that the momentum she had just gathered deflated completely.
She couldn’t muster her spirit.
She felt as if her body had been hollowed out.
Elias walked in the front, completely unaware that Sylvia had gone back to provoke Annelise.
He was still thinking, if just when he walked in, he had seen Annelise dressed in that kind of sexy lingerie standing in front of him, would he have controlled himself?
He only needed a second to give himself a definite answer, he certainly wouldn’t.
"Elias, wait for me!"
Sylvia’s voice pulled him back from his thoughts.
Elias turned his head, finding that Sylvia had gone even further.
Just now at Annelise’s place, she wore only a piece of sexy lingerie, with a sheer covering over it, transparent, looking carefully one could see the outline inside.
