Last Ruler Of The Empty Throne-Chapter 100: It had a name?
Alexa woke up fifteen minutes later,
And when she saw Jon sitting up, she sighed again in relief. She was happy they had made it in time and saved him. She didn’t know what she would do if Jon too left her. However, now she didn’t have those thoughts again. What mattered was, he was alive,
"Now explain, what happened." Alexa asked. And looking at Gar’al’s also curious gaze, it seemed he had waited for her to wake up to find out together.
However, Jon kept quiet. He was stroking little whyte’s body, the little puppy was really worried.
It felt like he was lost wasn’t even listening to her.
"JON..." Alexa raised her voice. Jon then turned his head to her and she continued, "YOU ALMOST DIED. WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO IF YOU DIE TOO."
"I know It’s selfish of me but, I don’t think I can keep living if you die too. I think I have endured enough and you too have, so can we try to open up a little. I know you want to carry your burden, but talk about it too." She looked down in sadness.
-She’s right you know, you monster.
Jon’s head immediately started looking around and saw Amelia floating above him. But it was strange, it was like she sent the message directly to his brain and not talking.
’Can they see her too.’ Jon immediately became tense as he tried to see the reaction Gar’al and Alexa would make seeing Amelia.
-So you can even do this too. And no, only you can see me.
Amelia shook her head at the absurdity of it. She didn’t expect him to reply back to her using the technique.
And it was weird for Jon too, ’What?’ he just heard her and wanted to do it too, and did it.
’Wait, what do mean they can’t see you.’
-I mean as I have said it, I can refract and manipulate vectors a bit.
’W-What?’ His head had to snap to Amelia in the sky in shock.
"Jon, are you okay?" Alexa asked when even after saying that, she didn’t get a response.
"Oh sorry, so what happened was..." Though he was telling Alexa and Gar’al the situation, his mind was somewhere else.
After all, it seemed Amelia’s skill was space based.
And after a short explanation, he spoke to Amelia,
’So you can use space,’ there was a particular tint of excitement in his voice.
-Hmm, was it that obvious?
Amelia didn’t honestly expect him to know about anything she said. She just said it so when she was asking her questions, he wouldn’t hold back.
’Yes, Vectors, dimensions, telekinesis, gravity-’ However his thoughts were cut,
"So you are telling me that, there were over a million zombies and you killed them with an attack that made everywhere like this." Alexa summarized his story with a dumbfounded look.
"And you almost died from your attack." Well considering it was Gar’al, it was obvious what part of the story he was going to focus on. He found it totally absurd. How could a person almost die from their attack, however he was witnessing one right here and it didn’t seem like he was lying.
"Yeah," And as if a lightning struck his memory, he remembered the reason he even used that attack in the first place.
So he stood up and for the first time and saw his handiwork.
"What the hell." His jaw dropped at the situation.
-You didn’t even know, monster.
She didn’t know why, but she felt it was only right to call him a monster from what he had been showing since.
-Yes, your attack caused this.
Jon then tried to spread his sense, and he noticed something immediately. His range had increased. Now, he could see about 5 km without any issues.
Though he was surprised, it wasn’t as shock as the scale of destruction he was seeing. His senses had increased to 5 km and everywhere he looked from his sense was just destruction.
Everything was charred black from the destruction. It was so bad, he didn’t think it could recover anytime soon.
"Congratulations, you’ve officially become a natural disaster." Alexa laughed at Jon’s expression at the situation.
-Pfft, hahaha.
Even Amelia was laughing,
’How didn’t I die.’ However Jon just kept thinking of how everything had gone down to the smoke but he still lived. After all, his defense crumbled immediately he raised it.
-So many things would have caused it, the attack itself was already powerful. Then you added piercing effect, your murderous aura and even will.
Amelia explained to him after laughing at the situation. It wasn’t that she couldn’t cause this situation, in fact she could easily destroy this world. However, when she was in the first realm, she definitely couldn’t do this.
"Hmm..." After thinking of the situation for a while, he began approaching the location of the object he saw.
Passing by, this was the first time he was seeing this number of orbs and cores lying around. Since all the zombies were no longer in the vicinity, it would be easy to gather them.
’Wait, one of these should be good for me right?’ With a thought, he activated his moon gaze. He wanted to know if the gaze could actually give him a signal to which skill was best.
There were so many that he wanted to learn them. However, there was the issue of the limit one could learn and he had a feeling he was getting to that limit.
What if he learnt all plenty skills here and later needed another that was likely important for his evolution. He couldn’t risk it, so he used his ’Moon gaze’ to decide for him.
And it didn’t disappoint, and he immediately ran towards that direction.
Alexa and Gar’al were watching with narrowed eyes.
He had been acting quite strangely since he stood up. Occasionally looking up and now looking up.
As Jon reached the destination, he saw an orb glowing. And when he deactivated the skill, the glow disappeared over the orb.
’It seems that was the way to identify.’ Without much thought to it, he bent and picked it. And he learned the scroll in the orb,
[REFLECTION (FIRST REALM) LEVEL 5: WITH 50 POINTS OF MANA, YOU CAN REDIRECT ANY INJURY RECEIVED INTO AN ATTACK]
’Nice,’ the description was a little scanty, however the skill was another life-saving skill and he really liked it.
His ’Moon gaze’ really knew what he needed at the moment.
With that thought, he returned to Alexa and Gar’al’s side.
"Oh, you can learn any skills you want and evolve them with the cores." He told them and thanked them for helping him survive.
And as if they had just received the best gift, their eyes sparkled and he couldn’t see their shadows again. They both were already throwing away the useless orbs around.
’How did they move so fast.’ Shaking his head, he continued his movements towards the object.
’Now, will you tell me what about what I’m about to approach’ He asked.
-Hmm, I guess I can. The first thing I can tell you is, don’t lose it. And as for what it is, honestly I don’t know.
’W-What, but the way you reacted.’ Jon was surprised at her answer.
-Yes, I know. It’s something I have only seen with the leaders.
’Leaders?’ Jon asked in confusion.
-Yes, the universe is bigger than you think. And there are factions.
’Woah!, just like the novels.’ It might had sounded strange, but the things he was experiencing was very similar to the novels he usually read. And it always felt strange how similar they were.
40% of what he said about there been a change after a month was because of it. And even now, he could even start predicting the new kind of monsters they would start seeing.
-What are you talking about.
Amelia tilted her head at his words.
’N-Nothing, so you are among one of these factions.’
-Yes
’So most of the leaders of these factions have this thing I’m about to sees so what does it do.’
-They vary, and it is among the reasons the leaders fight.
’They fight for it too?’ Jon was shocked not expecting those probably mighty beings to be that petty.
-Their abilities are unfathomable.
’Hmm, for her to talk like that, they must really be that great.’ He thought in his mind and looked at her.
However,
Now standing over the object, he didn’t look down but looked up at Amelia and asked in a serious voice,
"Are you going to take it?"
-Hmm...I actually don’t need it.
"What?" his expression wavered, "I thought you said its abilities were unfathomable?"
-And?
Jon’s mind was spinning in circles at the attitude Amelia was displaying. She was seeing something she probably have envied for a while now, and she rejected it just like that.
-Besides, I couldn’t even take it if I wanted to.
’She said something like this before.’ Jon remembered her saying something like that when he was still injured. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
"What do you mean?" He asked.
-The system that is widely used has a name, Embroyniel records.
"What?"
