Alexa ran without hesitation and upon reaching him, she placed the core she held in his hand and squeezed it in his hand.

Expecting the usual burst of light, however nothing was happening.

"Jon, Jon..." Alexa was becoming more nervous at the situation. Jon wasn’t responding.

He couldn’t even feel anything, so how was it possible to respond.

And then, something happened.

From an ethereal place, a place Jon willed into existence but still didn’t know its location or its true potential, called the ’Mind world’ 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

A while ago, Jon had left a clone to study his skills in depth and when he returned, he would just retrieve it like the information being transferred from the system.

So, the situation with the ’Mind world’ was a situation where the clone would always be the smarter version of the two of them.

As Jon had previously said, there had to more to the ’Mind world’ than what he knew. And that was true, but what he also didn’t know was, his ’Mind world’ wasn’t his alone.

It was called ’Mind world’ because of the individual space each person was given in that world. So one could actually call it a world where people appear to do their various tasks in their ethereal forms.

And, since it was the Mind and ethereal working, there were no disadvantages.

However, that wasn’t all. Not many people knew this or rather those who knew wanted to keep it secret. And it was that, the ’Mind world’ they had was actually a link to something much larger than they knew.

And that link will only be formed when one’s ’Mind world’ can effect change in the real world.

And that was what was happening,

Jon’s clone from the ’Mind world’ willed it to open the scroll in his hand. And

FLASH...

A blinding light began forming over Jon.

And over that blinding light, a beautiful rainbow hue began extending all over him.

In the sky watching the situation, Amelia sighed as she saw the rainbow hue covering Jon.

How could she not know what that hue was, and honestly, she was tired of getting surprised. Was it even possible to get surprised to this extent, she just wanted to give up and just bleed to death at this point.

As the light was still shining, gear creaking sounds were heard from his body. It was like the sound a machine that just started functioning.

It was the skill Alexa had gotten for him.

And, while he didn’t know this, luckily or not, it was even better he had shattered the bones in his body.

The new bones growing will be remodeled according to his former body and obviously better. But there was something weird about the bones forming inside him. It wasn’t the usual color and looks.

Though, not many had seen the real bones of a person, everyone knew it was white in color.

But now his bones now looked like metal. And if it looked like metal, it was obvious his bones were now metal.

As the bones were forming, something else happened. His trait, ’Martial Expert’ came into play and started outlining his body for the best types of martial arts.

’Haa...don’t tell me he gets that too.’ Amelia was seriously considering burying herself. If he gets everything this way, what was the point of working hard.

Again, his clone interfered again and activated his regeneration.

There was something about the clone interfering. It wasn’t using mana. After all, Jon’s mana was already depleted.

The clone used the energy that was in the ’Mind world’.

Imagine the kind of energy that can create anything one wills into existence. Imagine the kind of energy that can affect the real world all the way from the ethereal world. It was a different kind of energy. It was of a higher degree than mana. But that story was for later.

Right now, Jon was having one of those kind of changes that put the likes of transformation to shame.

Before long, the white light over him deemed and with it, his arms and legs had been replaced with newer and stronger versions. And the rainbow hue also deemed, revealing Jon’s appearance.

His hair had turned a bit darker and his tattered clothes were suddenly smaller on him. However, not all his injuries were healed. It was as if the clone just focused on the larger injuries and left the smaller to him.

Although, small couldn’t begin to define the injuries left. His face still had its empty parts, his skin were still torn and burnt all over. He still felt like he was in danger, however from what Amelia could sense, his clone had brought him out of the dangerous part.

However, the two down didn’t know that,

"H-He isn’t waking up, why isn’t he waking up." Alexa panicked a little looking between Jon and Gar’al.

"It seems he is stable now." He still kept looking at Jon as he scanned all over him. He could sense the now stability in his life force. He didn’t know what might cause it, however it worked out well.

"W-What do you mean?" Alexa held on to that tiny thread of hope Gar’al was giving but still asked to clarify better.

"He is no longer on the verge of danger."

"But his body," Alexa looked down at his body. She too knew those injuries were not normal. One of the injuries was enough to kill a normal human, but because of this new world, a person could still survive with as many as four of it.

And that was also made the situation stranger. How was Jon still alive, it didn’t make any sense, but they couldn’t keep trying to guess when they could ask the person directly.

Then Gar’al also placed the skill in his arm. And nothing happened again.

"W-Why isn’t-" as she was about to ask the question.

"Mm..." Jon’s body shifted a little, and that was Alexa needed and ran over to him.

"Jon, Jon..." She kept shouting his name. And there was finally a response,

"Mm," His eyes finally opened, albeit only a little and tried to look around.

"J-Jon, don’t move, learn the skill in your hand first." Alexa started telling him. The way she saw the injuries, if he stood now, his face might not return to normal.

’Did they find it?’ Even with his slightly opened eyes, he could understand the situation from what he was hearing from Alexa.

’So, what happened to my body.’ He really wanted to know his condition. And subconsciously and unknowingly, he did something he hadn’t done before.

He scanned his whole self.

It was a situation where he could see his external, internal self and even things he hadn’t seen before.

’Wait, What.’ He was just thinking of it, but now he could suddenly see his whole body.

It wasn’t something he could do previously. ’Just what happened?’ He couldn’t even understand what was happening.

’Well, only one way to know.’ Then he thought of it again. And everything appeared before him. It was like seeing himself from a third person point of view, and he could even see more.

And that wasn’t all. The more he looked at himself it was like he understood more of what he focused on. ’It’s like ’Mind world’, he pieced it together. As already known, with the ’Mind world’, he could understand his skill better, however now it was like he could understand himself better.

And looking at himself this way, it had a certain strange feeling to it. He couldn’t really put an explanation, so he just stopped trying to define it.

After getting amused, he wanted to really know the situation of his body. And the first thing, he noticed were the new arm and leg he had.

’How did this happen, I didn’t have enough mana for regeneration, but it seems regeneration was used.’ Looking at it, it told him the skill was used but not who used it. It seemed the body checking was limited to this for now.

’I will find out from them later.’ With that, he looked at his body in general and it looked quite bad. ’Why are my limbs fixed but my body left like this.’ Even he was quite terrified of his body situation. It was that bad.

Then he looked at his internal system, ’My internal organs are now fine and my bones.’ Looking at it, he could immediately piece them together. He could see the different bone color which was clearly from Alexa. ’So that probably fixed my internal organs.’

So that resolved his bones, and looking through his body, he could see a lot of things, both familiar in color and shapes and unfamiliar.

’I should check it out later.’ Jon mused. Alexa was already getting worried about his non replies and he could still wait until he got back to the camp.

Opening his eyes again, he could hear them clearly,

"Jon, learn the skill in your hand." He could hear Alexa saying. ’Hand’ feeling his hand now, he could feel the orb in his hand.

By now, he had recovered a bit of his mana. And with a thought, the orb and a learned the skill contained in the scroll.

However, he dismissed the message. The name alone was enough to tell him what was going to happen next.

Immediately, new muscles began weaving through his body. ’Urgh...’ he endured the pain ravaging his body. If he had endured the full body pain, this was more of a just headache.

And after that, new skin began forming on his body.

Five minutes later, the whole process was over, the next thing he heard was,

"Woah!" Alexa exhaled in relieve with a smile on her face and collapsed.
