Leave Me Alone, Big Brothers! [BL]-Chapter 132: Don’t Go
Alexander shook his head, hugging Huan tightly and not letting go. He didn’t move either. He rested his head on the man’s shoulder.
Huan could feel Alexander’s hot breath on the crook of his neck. He knew Alexander had a fever. He didn’t know when the man had last been sick. Even when he was sick, the man chose to keep moving and stay active, so it never became serious.
It seemed that no one had ever seen Alexander sick enough to lie in bed.
And now, the man was completely still.
Huan stroked Alexander’s head. "I’ll call Dr. Edward."
Alexander immediately refused, firmly despite his weak voice. "No. I’m fine."
"No, you are not. You are sick."
"I’m okay. I don’t want to see anyone right now. Don’t call anyone."
Huan finally gave in. "Then let me take care of you. I’ll get some ice water. Your body is very hot."
Alexander didn’t answer, but he didn’t let go of him at all. In fact, he hugged him even tighter when Huan tried to stand up.
"Alex..."
"Don’t go." Alexander changed his position to hug him more comfortably.
"You will make me sick." Huan was sure that normally he would be rational and let go immediately. But not this time.
"I don’t care. I will take care of you. As long as you are alive, I will bathe you, feed you, and do everything to make you better," Alexander replied softly and seriously. He kissed Huan’s neck again, as if to make sure the man was still there, still in his embrace.
"Well, Alex. It seems like you’re the one who needs care right now. Can you let me go? I have to get some water," said Huan, trying to break free.
"No! Don’t go!"
Huan sighed. Alexander was really like a little kid now. Finally, he picked up the phone on the table to ask the servant to bring cold water, food, and medicine for the man.
The servants knocked, not daring to enter, but Huan assured them that they would be fine. They were surprised to see Alexander clinging to Huan’s shoulder, ignoring their presence. They were also quite surprised that the man could be sick.
They quickly left, and the gossip was ready to be spiced up and spread.
Huan felt his shoulder hurt. Alexander didn’t let go at all.
"Alex, I’m not going anywhere. Can you lie down?" Huan asked.
Alexander shook his head, but he changed positions and made Huan lie down on the bed while he immediately hugged him from above. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺
Huan held his breath, now he couldn’t breathe with Alexander’s muscular body on top of him. "Seriously, Alex... You are so heavy!" He gasped for air as Alexander dropped his weight on top of him.
Alexander didn’t answer. The man seemed to be asleep. But his body was very hot.
Huan felt like he was in a sauna. He immediately broke out in a sweat. "Damn!" he muttered softly, trying to push the man’s body off his.
But it seemed like he would have to forget about sleeping comfortably that night. Alexander wouldn’t let go of him at all.
Until finally, Huan had to force the man by pushing him hard, using Alexander’s weakened body to make him lie down.
Before the man could pull him back, Huan maneuvered quickly and stood up from the bed.
Alexander felt very weak this time. His head felt heavy, his vision blurry. He felt his body was hot and cold at the same time. His breathing was heavy and irregular. He wanted to reach for Huan’s body, but his movements were very weak. His hands were trembling.
Huan took the man’s hand and sat on the edge of the bed, using water to cool the man’s body.
"I’m here, Alex. I won’t go anywhere!" said Huan when Alex’s hand grabbed his again while he was trying to wipe his forehead and face with a washcloth.
"No, you don’t need to do anything. Don’t go anywhere," Alexander pleaded like a whining child.
"You are being unreasonable right now. You are sick, and let me take care of you."
"No. I’m not sick."
Huan pushed Alex’s hand away to grab the food on the table. "You.are.sick. and now you have to eat." If he didn’t force him, Alexander would just hug him all night and get sicker.
Alexander obeyed. He moved closer to the edge of the bed, trying to sit up, pulling one of Huan’s legs onto the bed and holding it, causing the man to almost fall.
Huan clicked his tongue, the position was very uncomfortable. But Alexander seriously wouldn’t let go. Still, the man obeyed and ate well while Huan fed him.
"Can you let go of my foot?" Huan asked, giving him the fever medicine.
Alexander swallowed the pill with one hand still holding Huan’s foot.
Huan sighed. "Seriously, Alex."
Throughout the night, Huan was repeatedly startled when Alexander suddenly squeezed his body very hard. The man moaned as if in pain.
Huan was used to it when the man had nightmares, but this time the man continued to squeeze his body.
He had to wake him up, and the man pulled him close and hugged him tightly.
"I never knew you were really this annoying," Huan muttered, taking a deep breath.
The news of Huan’s "resurrection" hit the Salazar mansion like a tidal wave. No one expected the man to return. Alive.
The servants gossiped excitedly, making the atmosphere even more chaotic. Within minutes, the whispers had traveled from the kitchens to the security outposts, turning the somber mansion into a hive of frantic energy.
For some reason, the man’s return sparked excitement in the mansion. They couldn’t wait to see Alexander’s reaction, hoping the man would return to normal.
Huan’s presence was like a vaccine for a rare deadly disease.
Meanwhile, the guards returned to the mansion one by one after being "expelled" by Antonio.
And right now, Jack was the most excited. He chuckled happily several times along the corridor. He immediately contacted Steven, wanting to share the happy news.
On the other end, Steven’s voice sounded annoyed, as if Jack were rambling.
"Don’t talk trash to me, Jack! Seriously!" Steven’s voice crackled through the line, sharp with irritation. "You’re going to end up like Alex if you start seeing Huan. He is a ghost now. Get a grip."
"STEV! I’m fucking serious!" Jack hissed, nearly tripping over his own feet. "Huan is back! Huan is here! Not just me, you’d believe it if you were here. The maids are talking about him now, everyone is in total shock. But it’s him. Really Huan. He’s alive!"
On the other end, there was a long, heavy silence. Steven remembered the day at the crematorium. He had seen the body. He had seen the flames.
Then Jimmy had practically shoved them all out the door before the process was finished.
Suddenly, the pieces clicked together with the sickening sound of a trap snapping shut. Steven felt the blood drain from his face. Jimmy wouldn’t have dared to double-cross the family, unless he was following orders from the very top.
Steven let out a sharp chuckle. He leaned back against a wall. He had been played. They all had. Antonio had staged a drama and tragedy to make Alexander comply. But it seemed the old man had given up.
Yet they had all played along and believed the lie.
"Damn! I never realized it until now!" Steven muttered.
"What?" Jack asked, sounding confused.
"Nothing. Just... how is he?" Steven asked, his voice softening. "Is he okay? Really alive?"
"Yeah," Jack breathed. "He looks fit. A little tired, but just like himself. The real Huan."
Meanwhile, that night, the family members had returned to the mansion. The atmosphere was bustling again, especially with Nael’s voice filling the mansion as soon as he got out of the car.
The boy was chatty, showing how happy he was. Even though it was night, his excitement had not faded.
Then they noticed how bright the mansion seemed. The servants and guards had gathered in the staff dining area.
"Wait, why is everyone looking like they just won the lottery?" Nael asked, finally stopping his chatter.
Isabel approached them first, her smile so bright. "Mr. Dante, Madam Natasha... Huan is back. Nobody knows how, but he is in Alex’s room."
The reaction was instantaneous. Nael’s jaw dropped so low it looked painful. Nathan froze, his eyes wide with a mix of disbelief and a strange, flickering hope.
They just hoped it wasn’t a dream. Hoped Alexander would truly return to normal if Huan came back.
But how could a dead person come back to life?
Only Natasha remained unmoved.
She stood in the center of the hall, her coat draped elegantly over her shoulders, her expression as calm as a still lake. She didn’t gasp. She didn’t shout. She simply nodded.
She knew her father-in-law. Antonio was a tyrant, but he was also a businessman. He knew that if Alexander didn’t recover soon, the Salazar empire would begin to crumble under the weight of his grief.
Antonio hadn’t returned Huan out of mercy, he had returned him because the "tool" was needed to fix his broken "machine."
She just hadn’t expected the old man to move this quickly.
