Dao Comprehension1. Basic Understanding (Apprentice) (1 System Point)

"The first step into the infinite."

At this stage, a cultivator has been introduced to the concept of a Dao. They grasp the surface theory and can sense its presence in nature or battle. However, there is little to no actual application in techniques.

Example: A Sword Dao novice might feel an intuitive pull when holding a sword but has no control over sword intent.

2. Initial Comprehension (Titled) (10 System Point) (A)

"The Dao whispers, and the cultivator listens."

The cultivator begins to apply the Dao in minor ways. Attacks may faintly carry the essence of their chosen Dao, but it's inconsistent or weak. Understanding remains shallow, but it's a crucial breakthrough beyond theory.

Example: A Fire Dao user can now imbue flames with a slight will, making them burn hotter or flow unnaturally.

3. Minor Completion (Expert) (100 System Point)

"The Dao answers the cultivator's call."

At this level, the cultivator can consciously and reliably integrate the Dao into techniques. Attacks become more potent, and techniques may carry visible Dao manifestations such as Sword Qi or Flame Spirit.

Example: A cultivator's sword slashes may leave behind cutting intent that persists even after the blade passes.

4. Major Completion (Master) (500 System Point)

"The cultivator lives the Dao in thought and action."

Here, the Dao is deeply ingrained. Every move, even mundane ones, reflect the essence of their Dao. Techniques become extremely powerful and efficient, often overpowering those below this level of comprehension.

Example: A Space Dao practitioner can fold short distances without technique—just by willing space to shift.

5. Perfection (Grandmaster)

"There is no longer a difference between technique and Dao."

The Dao has become second nature. Cultivators no longer use the Dao—they are expressions of it. Their presence alone may distort the world around them in accordance with their Dao.

Example: A Lightning Dao user's body constantly crackles with lightning, and their mere gaze might paralyze weak enemies.
