On Terra, several Geno-Days after returning from the treasury, the scene of Aoni and Anthony kneeling on the floor, with Lea standing over them, ruler in one hand, carving knife in the other, was being completely ignored by the remaining members of the Thurston Family.

"Anthony, you were only supposed to be gone for 2 days; please enlighten me as to how it turned into you being gone for an entire week?" Lea asked while clicking the ruler against the very sharp carving knife.

"Well, you see, Mom…"

SHING, SHING

"Mama Dearest, little Aoni needed some help with his exploration, and when I got there, I found these abandoned ancient ruins 50-something miles away…" Hearing the clacking turn into a sharpening sound as Lea dragged the knife along the metal edge of the ruler, Anthony's words spilled out faster.

SHING SHING

"Mama, don't worry, it wasn't dangerous; I used my Aura to keep any monsters away so we were exploring freely."

Clack clack

"That was when Little Glacia, who is so sweet and adorable, I might add,"

"WAIT, did you get the thing I asked for?" Hearing the floof being mentioned by name, Lea's eyes brightened like a grandmother talking about her newborn grandkids.

"Of course, greatness, as requested, here is the recording crystal; I have pre-loaded it with Energia, so all you have to do is…"

"Run my finger along the edge. I know, I know, gimmie," snatching the crystal out of Anthony's hands and ignoring the look of betrayal on Aoni's face, Lea rubbed the artifact like a magic lamp, and soon a hologram of Glacia playing around in the snow appeared in the air.

---

"gaoo gaooo!" Waving her little hand at the person holding the artifact, Glacia seemed to be cheerfully saying hi.

The scene continued for a little bit before changing to a new one in which Nyria was playing tag with Glacia.

"Cheee!" Swooping down, Nyria landed on her sister's shoulders and gave the recording device her best greeting.

Scene change.

This time, it was a video of Aoni, hard at work, siphoning the Seal while bathed in blue flames. Beside him, Glacia was munching away sloppily like a little glutton.

"Don't worry, Mom, Aoni's just fine, see, no injuries, just training and using some kind of crafter skill." Anthony's voice said through the hologram before it cut to a new scene of Glacia playing happily in a portable bathtub, a rubber duck in her mouth.

---

"OH MY GOSH, THEY'RE SO CUTTTTEEE!" Lea squealed while replaying the video over again to watch her son's adorable summons playing around in the snow.

"Mommy, who are they? " Hearing Lea's boisterous laughter and happy giggles, a sleepy Cammy made her way into the dining room, dragging along her stuffed polar bear and rubbing her eyes.

"Cammy dear, come here and look; these little cuties are your big brother's Summons, Glacia and Nyria. Watch." Picking up her baby and placing Cammy in her lap, the endearing scene of mother and daughter gushing over Aoni's summons played out for several minutes.

During this time, Aoni was constantly glaring daggers at Anthony because he had zero knowledge that he was being recorded, not that he actually cared. Still, it was more so because he wasn't asked.

After all, it wasn't like there was anything in the recording that was too damning, except for the scene of him working on the seal, but unless you knew what you were seeing, it was difficult to tell what was happening.

---

Around two hours later, another family meeting was called, a barrier erected, and the Entire Thurston family, minus Cammy, wore serious expressions as they heard about the Ruins and Treasury. ƒгeewёbnovel.com

"I may not be a mage, but the details in this grimoire are more than enough to give me a few insights." Flipping through the pages of a tome pertaining to Shadow and Dark Magic, Charlotte mused with an expressionless face.

"…"

"Aren't you going to thank your baby brother for the gift, Clara?" Lea said with an intimidating smile.

"But I don't even use greatswords…" She mumbled before flinching as the temperature appeared to drop in the room, thanks to the hostility radiating from Lea.

"Thanks, baby brother; I shall cherish it for the rest of my life."

"Sigh, Clara, you clearly don't know what you are looking at there; it's a 5-Star Wind Element Sword…"

"HUH? AN ENERGIA-BASED ARTIFACT SWORD FOR PEOPLE WITH A WIND AFFINITY!"

"Yeah, you think I would just give you a giant sword because you're a muscle-brained moron who only knows how to fight? Nope, it's actually useful for you."

Going around the table, everyone at least got an item or resource they could use or two, even his mundane siblings and parents. However, only Clara seemed to be too dumb to realize the gift she'd been given was worth more than her entire life's savings a hundred times over.

"Storage artifacts, training resources, pretty clothing for the girls; I gotta say, Aoni, you and Ant really found some good stuff this time." Said Jason as he examined his own weapon, a pair of combat daggers.

"Archie, you gonna be able to sell the stuff on that list?" Ignoring his dad because of the look being given to him by Lea, Aoni changed the subject before he could get on her nerves.

"Honestly, little brother, I'm not sure; the one and 2-Star stuff shouldn't be much of a problem, but anything higher than that runs the risk of drawing unwanted attention…even if I use all my shell companies and mules." Placing down a stack of neatly typed-out papers, Archie flipped open the leather cover of his tablet and tapped away.

'Sheesh, the highest item I listed was some of the 4-star plants and weapons, but even those will cause problems…' Aoni thought while remembering the fact that he had obtained a wealth of items and resources with even higher grades than those listed for Archie.

'Although the bulk of the stuff is between 1-3 Stars, I got a shit ton of items and weapons reaching all the way up to 6 or even 7-Stars…with only a handful of extremely rare Grade-8 things.'

"Hey, Aoni, there are quite a few Grade-Two Nodes on this list. Are you sure about that? I thought you needed summons?" Looking up from his tablet, Archie stated, drawing suspicious glances from the rest of the family.

"It's fine; I already took what I wanted; the rest is surplus."
