Leisurely Farm Life in Beast World-Chapter 1452 - 1449: Still Young
The middle-aged Orc rubbed his chin: "Shaman Ji Nuan, who are they?"
Ji Nuan reassured with a smile: "Don’t worry, they are from our tribe’s medical team, specifically responsible for treating our tribemates. Their healing techniques are personally taught by the shaman, and they’re even more skilled than some shaman lords."
The medical team’s Orcs worked with remarkable proficiency. The severity of the injuries in these few Orcs lay in the depth of their wounds, making them hard to heal. After stitching the wounds, they applied hemostatic and anti-inflammatory herbs, and instructed their tribemates to carry them to a nearby tent.
Only one Orc posed more of a challenge.
"Shaman Lord, this Orc’s wound has been treated, but his leg is broken."
The words from the medical team member did not hold back. For them, a broken leg was hardly an unusual occurrence.
But these few Orcs from smaller middle tribes didn’t know that. Upon hearing that a leg was broken, one of the Orc’s expressions changed.
"Broken leg... the bone... is the bone injured?"
The medical team’s Orc nodded: "The bone in the lower leg is injured, but it’s not too serious."
Ji Nuan looked at the young Orc on the ground: "Treat it, still young."
The tribemates bent down and began to work busily again.
The conversation between Ji Nuan and the medical team members left several Orcs stunned: "Shaman Ji Nuan, you mean that our tribemate’s broken leg can still be healed?"
Ji Nuan nodded: "Rest assured, turn around and see if the tree is alright."
A few perplexed Orcs turned to look back, and the tree was busily commanding the tribemates to erect tents for the injured Orcs.
That lively appearance was the very picture of health.
"The tree’s legs were once broken by Pierre from the Alonzo Tribe, yet look at him now, perfectly fine. Don’t worry, your tribemates will recover too."
Watching the tree occasionally jump around to reprimand tribemates, the few Orcs found themselves believing in miracles again.
For the already skilled medical team members, treating bone injuries had become routine, and soon, the work was completed.
After briefing a few Orcs on the precautions, they set up a tent on the grass mat, advising that keeping still with a broken leg was crucial.
The next day, several Orcs awakened, and except for the one with the fracture, the others returned with their Clan Leader.
The Orc with the fracture recuperated at the base for a week, completely healing before being taken back by his tribemates.
In the following days, tremors continued occasionally, but the construction of the walls at the base continued.
During the previous tremors, the walls and the enclosures for the prey stood stubbornly without any change, not a piece fell loose.
Seeing this, the Orcs’ enthusiasm for building walls and houses surged once more.
For a time, the tribe plunged back into busyness.
"Shaman Ji Nuan, our tribemates were attacked when they went out, and it doesn’t look like it was beasts that killed them. The wounds were left by Orc claws."
Ji Nuan, who was preparing medicinal powder, was suddenly interrupted by the urgent voice. Looking at the ruined powder in the porcelain bottle, Ji Nuan furrowed his brows.
However, his expression turned grave with the words of the tree: "You’re saying our tribemates were killed by some unknown Orc?"
Ji Nuan felt a blaze of fury ignite in his chest.
