“If there’s nothing else, bye. I’m eating.” Joy and her grandpa were both eating with Shu Pan, so she didn’t want to say anything. She was worried that she wouldn’t be able to resist confronting him.

Gu Shaoting frowned. If he still didn’t notice that something was off, he would be a terrible husband to Shu Pan.

“Honey, what’s wrong? Did something happen?” Gu Shaoting asked gently.

“Nothing’s wrong. Take care of yourself when you’re away from home.” Shu Pan frowned too.

Shu Pan paused after she said that. She felt that she was quite amazing to say words of concern to him at a time like this.
