Chapter 322 Kevin and Levi

Kevin Shlok, one of the members from the Shalya clan, which is a small ancient family affiliated with the Wandering Star Sect.

<Aside from guilds, associations, nobles, elites and royals there also exists sects, schools or temples. You can name your organization whatever you want, just have to have enough strength to maintain that status.>

In the novel, this guy was the one Blake family adopted and gave Rio's place as an heir to once he was branded as the world killer and devil by everyone, after that one prophecy.

This guy took his place, his family and then bowed down to Leon. Giving all what his parents gave to him, to the bastard who would later come for their life.

And the girl behind him, his current shadow, who's also his future wife according to the novel, Levi Alden.

In the novel she was just a nameless orphan girl roaming the streets, who was picked up by some slave organization and sold to the maid markets in her childhood. She showed her talent and got chosen for the shadow training program at Blake family.

She later became Amelia's shadow and filled her ears with all kinds of nonsense to fulfill her own ambition and greed for more power.

Maybe Amelia didn't like Rio in the novel due to how he always behaved and acted, or how everyone would make fun of her and avoid her because she was his sister, but still it was the words and actions of Levi that kept fuming the flames of dislike until it turned into anger and then into hatred.

Turning the big brother in her eyes into Rio, and then Rio into the devil - it was all the doing of this pair of husband and wife.

'I'm gonna enjoy butchering you to pieces.' Rio thought, gulping down a glass of wine as his eyes found the pair happily dancing on the stage, looking into each other's eyes like none of the others existed in this party.

Even though none of those things had happened in reality, like he stopped the prophecy, buried the links that tied Kevin to his family, making sure the adoption thingy never comes up, and made sure Levi never sets foot in his house - but still there was this undeniable hatred in his eyes as he looked at them.

'Let's give you a night to remember, my pieces.' Rio said, walking down the stairs with glass of wine in his hand.

"Where did you run off to?" Becca said as she finally found him again.

"I was just getting you a drink." Rio said, showing her the glass of wine in his hands. freewebno vel.co m

Rebecca looked at the half glass and scoffed "Hah, lies. I leave you for one minute and you're gone in the wind. Can't you just stand in place." She said, glaring at the guy who disappeared when she got called away by one of the girls from her neighboring room.

"Oohho, didn't know you booked my brother so much, princess." A voice broke Rebecca's lecture and her face, which was quite stern all this time, instantly turned into a blush of embarrassment as Amelia and Ayla came near her.

"Sigh, now I see why brother wasn't picking up his phone the whole day, you probably had him walk around on your orders it seems. Poor him." Amelia said and walked over to her brother, raising her hand to touch his face with a sympathetic gaze.

Rio, who saw her overacting, chuckled in response as he heard her words and saw her faking a pitiful expression.

"Don't be sad brother, you just had to bear through one day, imagine how I feel, when she's always around me like a hungry ghost all day everyday." she said, making a pitiful and tired face.

"I'm following you?" Rebecca asked, pointing at herself in disbelief.

"Or, you even used uncle Max's name to make sure to get me as a room partner, so you can ask me to help__." Amy said, causing Rebecca's face to be covered in the haze of blush, until she finally couldn't take it anymore and just turned around and walked away, pulling Ayla with her hand too.

"Wait, where are you going, princess, stop, my brother_ he's here." Amelia shouted slowly, masking her words with mana so only Becca and Ayla could hear them.

"Amy," Rio said, stopping her as she wanted to run behind her bestie and tease her a little more before asking about her day.

"Brother, let's follow her. " She smiled and said, but Rio's words came to her ears, causing her to stiffen up. "Stop."

Amy had a bad premonition in her heart, and tried to come up with excuses to leave her place, while cursing herself for being stupid and coming here to tease Becca when her brother was here too.

"Brother, I'll_ I'll go and _ ohh see that, Rubina is calling me, I'll be back." She stuttered like a little kid who's mistakes got caught by her parents. "Yes Rebecca, I'm coming." She said and turned around to leave.

But Rio placed his hand on her shoulder and stopped her.

"What happened today?" He asked in a serious tone, and whatever doubt Amelia had of hiding her events, went up in smokes.

"Brother, I was just _." She tried to say something but failed to find any words.

"I think I told you not to do anything aggressive, then why?" Rio asked.

"I wasn't planning to, I just saw them yesterday and thought _."

"That you'd lock me with Rebecca and go beat up those guys yourself." Rio interrupted her and finished her words for her. "I think I taught you better than that, didn't I?"

"You did." she replied, as she hung her head down.

"Then why? Why'd you go and pick a fight with them?" Rio said remembering the news he got from one of the staff members, regarding how Amelia sneaked into the academy library and started an unnecessary fight with a few fourth year students.

"If not for professor Ryuk interfering in this fight, you know what would've happened right? You could've gotten punished or suspended, is that what you want?" he said.

"But you're not doing anything." She said with clenched teeth "They nearly killed you, and you're just doing _ nothing."

"It's not their time yet, Ames." Rio replied and moved closer as he opened his arms and hugged her. "I've told you before, I'll give punishments to everyone who deserves it, so do not interfere." he said in her ear and let go of her with a smile.

"Come, don't be all sad and angry now, let's enjoy the party." Rio said as he patted her head, when she just kept looking down.

"I'm not in the mood, I'll just go back to the room." She said, but stopped again as he grabbed her hand this time. "Stop acting like a brat, my bratty little sister. Come, there's going to be a big drama tonight, you don't wanna miss it."

"You did something?" Amy asked as she raised her eyebrows.

"No, but I know what someone else's planning to do. We'll just enjoy the show, I've brought popcorn too." Rio said and finally smiled as Amelia nodded her head and moved her empty hand forward, already asking for her price of staying.

Rio just threw another bunch of stuff in her storage ring and smiled as she forgot everything and ran towards Rebecca.

Rio looked at his phone, and sent a few text to his partners.

[Ryuk - Handle the situation. Make sure no proof remains or reaches the ears of the elders or the principal. Use whatever methods necessary I don't care.]

[Riley - take care of the three students I've sent you the names of. Send Yorsvik to do this job, I want it as clean as possible. Tell him, he has one month's time.]

[System, delete all data of that fight. No video, audio, crystals, projections anything. Leave nothing behind.]
