Limited Time Marriage: Nice to Meet You Mr. Foster-Chapter 17: Fiona Grant’s Delight
South Grant was shocked.
Tremendously shocked.
After returning home, the first thing she did was to turn on her computer and search for the name Stella Foster.
Stella Foster, once the premier lady of Aethelgard, was also the daughter of Harold Foster, the head of the First Military District, as the records indicated.
She was Harold Foster’s daughter from his first marriage. After her mother passed away, Harold Foster married another wife the following year and then had Nathan Foster.
Due to the age difference, Stella Foster was twelve years older than Nathan Foster,
South Grant searched for a long time and finally found a photo of Stella Foster online.
It was taken at a national banquet; someone of Stella Foster’s status wouldn’t normally have her photograph leaked.
But at that banquet, an influential star, seeking to boost her own worth, staged a few shots.
And one of them happened to capture Stella Foster’s profile.
South Grant instantly recognized her; that was her mother!
Her hand, gripping the mouse, trembled slightly.
Does this mean Nathan Foster really is her uncle?
South Grant forgot to close the door when she came in, so Fiona Grant entered unnoticed.
Because South Grant was somewhat lost in thought, she didn’t realize Fiona Grant had opened the photo album she had left on the table.
Fiona Grant grew increasingly astonished as she looked at the people in the album.
Finally, she saw the name on the album’s cover, and the words Stella Foster struck her.
Fiona Grant raised her head in shock; her astonishment was no less than South Grant’s at that moment.
She looked at South Grant, and South Grant’s computer was displaying an old news article.
It wrote about a famous actress attending a national banquet, capturing candid photos of the Foster Family’s heiress, Aethelgard’s premier socialite, overshadowing the beauties of the entertainment industry.
Fiona Grant didn’t read the rest of the report, only those words.
As if they were instantly etched in her heart. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
The Foster Family’s heiress, Aethelgard’s premier socialite!
Wasn’t that their mother?
The Foster Family?
What other Foster Family could it be!
In all of Aethelgard, there was only that one Foster Family!
Unexpectedly, their mother was the heiress of the Foster Family!
With relatives like these, why should they fear anyone in The Grant Family!
Fiona Grant excitedly brought the album over to South Grant.
"Sister, is this really true? Is mother truly the heiress of the Foster Family?"
Upon hearing Fiona Grant speak, South Grant finally returned to reality.
She looked at the album Fiona Grant held, and at the gleam of news in Fiona Grant’s eyes, her gaze darkened.
The only thing that could make Fiona Grant so happy was likely the connection to the Foster Family.
South Grant still remembered what Fiona Grant said before she died, thanking their mother for marrying a powerful and influential man.
The cold-bloodedness, the selfishness, the focus solely on power, devoid of familial affection!
South Grant reached out and took the album from Fiona Grant’s arms, glancing at her faintly:
"You’re overthinking it."
At that moment, Fiona Grant, struck by the overwhelming joy of the matter, didn’t detect South Grant’s indifference and excitedly asked her.
"How can it be thinking too much? This is clearly mother; mother is connected to the Foster Family!"
The Foster Family, was enough to drive Fiona Grant, who had been bullied by The Grant Family, to madness.
Just the thought that she had relatives in the Foster Family, Fiona Grant no longer feared Shawn Grant!
Then South Grant lifted her gaze to Fiona Grant, her eyes dim.
"Mother has been missing for seven years, with no news; are you so happy about that?"
Fiona Grant’s heart skipped a beat as she met South Grant’s look, feeling her heart pounding uncontrollably.
What was happening with South Grant?
Why did she suddenly change so drastically?
"Sister, I just thought if mother was the daughter of the Foster Family, wouldn’t it be faster to find her with their help?" Fiona Grant hurriedly explained to South Grant.
