Limited Time Marriage: Nice to Meet You Mr. Foster-Chapter 25: Inherited
Harold Foster was initially taken aback, but then burst into laughter.
Originally saddened by the eighteen years of separation from Stella Foster, in this moment, all his sorrowful emotions were dispersed by South Grant’s actions.
"You and your mother look very much alike!" Harold Foster commented, filled with comfort as he looked at South Grant, "Especially your nose."
"Looks like this nose runs in the family," South Grant glanced at Harold Foster.
Harold Foster paused and then had another laugh.
Nathan Foster observed from the side, noting that Harold Foster was a rather serious person who rarely laughed so heartily.
He couldn’t believe that in just over ten minutes of meeting South Grant, he had laughed so many times.
He looked at South Grant’s nose. Indeed, her nose was prominent, giving her features a clear contour.
Perhaps she had deliberately applied makeup to make her look sharp and assertive, reducing femininity while adding a youthful handsomeness.
Nathan Foster could imagine that if she removed the deliberate touches on her face, she would undoubtedly be radiant and surpass Stella Foster in beauty.
Nathan Foster recalled the first time he saw her in that bar, under multi-colored lights, in a dim corner, her features were much softer than now.
Back then, her panic was a stark contrast to her current calmness.
Even though she was dressed as a boy at the time, Nathan Foster never truly regarded her as a boy.
It was her subsequent action of undressing that misled Nathan Foster, and if it hadn’t been for later investigations, he might indeed have been fooled by her.
Thinking about it now, she was truly bold, exceptionally bold!
Doing that in front of a man she’d never met before!
Could it be that she undressed every time someone questioned her gender?
Nathan Foster’s face darkened slightly at the thought of this possibility.
Despite facing away from Nathan Foster at that moment, South Grant still felt a prickling sensation on her back.
Nathan Foster was undoubtedly staring at her like a beast, or why else would the hair on her back stand on end?
After laughing, Harold Foster patted South Grant’s shoulder.
"Boy, having a prominent nose is good. It’s a blessing, easier to get a wife in the future!"
South Grant: "..."
South Grant was certain that Harold Foster had no idea she was a girl!
Who compliments a girl like this!
Men look at noses because there’s an old saying that if a man’s nose is prominent, the bird is generally bigger.
This grandfather complimented her on her nose and said it was a blessing, easier to marry a wife in the future.
Oh my, does he think you show the bird to a potential wife first, and only if she likes it, you marry?
Nathan Foster clearly didn’t expect Harold Foster to say something like that either, observing the sudden silence and deciding not to help South Grant.
Someone with skin as thick as a city wall clearly didn’t need his assistance.
South Grant simply responded:
"Grandpa, you don’t need to worry about that. With this face that runs in the family, how could I lack a wife?"
Harold Foster laughed again, and just then a nurse entered, cautiously reminding:
"Old Commander, you just had surgery, the doctor advised against too much emotional fluctuation."
Hearing the nurse’s words, Harold Foster helplessly pouted.
"I said let’s go home, but your uncle insisted I stay here, being bossed around by doctors, can’t laugh or cry."
Nathan Foster walked over at this point, speaking as usual:
"Dad, you should rest now."
