"FIRE!!"

At the command of the captain, countless laser cannons shoot out beams of light.

All of those shots hit the enemy spaceship that is in front of them without missing.

Explosions spread, covering the space battleship from sight.

"HALT!"

The captain raised his hands, issuing a command for the shooting to stop.

Without additional explosions happening, the cover of the enemy ship slowly subsided.

He felt hopeless after seeing that he was not even able to deal any damage to the enemy after doing an all out attack.

There is an energy shield covering the enemy ship right now.

From the looks of it, it did not expend that much energy defending from the attacks of that laser cannons.

No one was able to say anything, at this time, feeling hopelessness just like their captain.

Everyone here has been together since the first time the ship has recruited members of it.

Everyone felt emotional knowing that this will be their last moment together.

They just stared into the darkness of the space in a daze, while even some of them were not able to hold their emotions and started crying.

Second, he felt that he was being treated unfairly in their house.

And lastly, is because they keep on calling him useless whenever he doesn’t have money.

With those reasons, Erwan just chose to go and live alone instead of forsaking his mental health.

And from then on, Erwan became more comfortable with living his life.

But leaving his parents did not just come with all good things.

There are also some very critical problems that Erwan is actually facing right now.

With him leaving the house, he now needs to provide for himself, paying for rent and bills, etc.

When he first left, he was lucky enough to get a part time job to support his plan from living independently.

Erwan immediately agreed when he heard that, "Okay, okay! I’ll try to get some money to help you guys right away!"

Ken, who is slurping his cup noodles in front of his computer, heard the shout of the delivery man.

He was surprised and choked on the noodles he was eating.

Ken hurriedly drank some water to push the food down to his stomach.

"Phew~ I almost died because of noodles!" He said, looking at the noodles in his hands with a horrified look.

Shaking his head, Ken hurriedly stood up from his chair, and because of his inattentiveness, the cup noodles in his hands fell down on his lap, splashing him with hot water.

"Aw, aw, Ouch! Ouch!"

But even though the pain made him burst the air out of his lungs, Ken still gritted his teeth and ran to the door.

Ken opened the door, and saw the delivery man standing there.

The delivery man also looked back at Ken, then his eyes went down on Ken’s lap where the noodles fell.

The delivery man looked at Ken again with weird eyes.

But even with that, the delivery man still did his job professionally,

"Uhm, here’s your parcel, sir!"

Ken took the small box about the size of his head, from the courier.

Excitement flashed on Ken’s eyes, not minding the weird look the delivery man is giving him.

After taking the parcel, Ken closed the door and hurriedly ran back to his computer.

When he was about to sit back down, he saw the mess he made again, then turned to look at his pants.

"Hays..."

Ken went to grab some towel first and wet it with water to clean up the noodle soup at the computer.

Next, he took a change of clothes and headed to the bathroom to wash his body since the soup made him feel sticky.

20 minutes later

Ken got out of the bathroom looking fresh and cool.

He went to the kitchen to drink some cold water before coming back to the computer.

The parcel that Ken left is still there sitting on the computer table.

When he looks at that thing, Ken’s eyes inevitably show some excitement to it.

He hurriedly picked it up, and started unboxing the parcel.

What came to sight after the box was removed was a helmet looking thing with a sci-fi vibe to it.

"Haha, this is the start of my great story!"

Ken laughed happily for some time before he started to calm down.

"The game should be about to start now."

He looked at the time on his computer and saw that it’s already 11:30 AM.

"30 more minutes before the game starts, huh."

Ken calmed himself, then lay on his computer chair and closed his eyes.

"I’ll wait until 11:50 before I log in." Ken muttered,

"This time, I won’t die again like a waste."

Ken said those words full of determination.

Ken was actually someone who came back to the past, like those so-called rebirth from the web novels these days.

But unlike those in the novels who travelled back years back, Ken only travelled back 2 months worth of time.

The day before the launch of the game [Real Life Online]

They also said that because of some mistakes on their side, both worlds are gonna start integrating!

At first, people thought it was just a joke from the developer.

But on that same day, rifts in space started appearing all over the world and some monsters even started coming out!

Because of this, people panicked and there will inevitably be people who’ll die because of this.

Luckily, there was no high level monster that came out, because of that firearms were still able to kill those monsters.

From then on, monsters are not just fictional things inside novels and games, but also started appearing in the real world.

Also, after the rifts appeared, the players of the game [Real Life Online] also started manifesting their game characters into the real world.

Hence, the Era of Player started!

Ken opened his eyes, the cellphone on his hand vibrating because of the alarm.

After he turned off the alarm, he got up from his seat and headed to his bed with the helmet-like thing or the headgear in his arms.
