"Delivery!"

"Slurp... slur- cough, cough!"

Ken, who is slurping his cup noodles in front of his computer, heard the shout of the delivery man.

He was surprised and choked on the noodles he was eating.

Ken hurriedly drank some water to push the food down to his stomach.

Ken opened the door, and saw the delivery man standing there.

The delivery man also looked back at Ken, then his eyes went down on Ken’s lap where the noodles fell.

But even with that, the delivery man still did his job professionally,

"Uhm, here’s your parcel, sir!"

Ken took the small box about the size of his head, from the courier.

Excitement flashed on Ken’s eyes, not minding the weird look the delivery man is giving him.

After taking the parcel, Ken closed the door and hurriedly ran back to his computer.

When he was about to sit back down, he saw the mess he made again, then turned to look at his pants.

Ken went to grab some towel first and wet it with water to clean up the noodle soup at the computer.

Next, he took a change of clothes and headed to the bathroom to wash his body since the soup made him feel sticky.

20 minutes later

Ken got out of the bathroom looking fresh and cool.

He went to the kitchen to drink some cold water before coming back to the computer.

The parcel that Ken left is still there sitting on the computer table.

He hurriedly picked it up, and started unboxing the parcel.

Ken laughed happily for some time before he started to calm down.

He looked at the time on his computer and saw that it’s already 11:30 AM.

Ken calmed himself, then lay on his computer chair and closed his eyes.

"I’ll wait until 11:50 before I log in." Ken muttered,

"This time, I won’t die again like a waste."

Ken said those words full of determination.

Ken was actually someone who came back to the past, like those so-called rebirth from the web novels these days.

But unlike those in the novels who travelled back years back, Ken only travelled back 2 months worth of time.

At first, people thought it was just a joke from the developer.

But on that same day, rifts in space started appearing all over the world and some monsters even started coming out!

Because of this, people panicked and there will inevitably be people who’ll die because of this.

Luckily, there was no high level monster that came out, because of that firearms were still able to kill those monsters.

From then on, monsters are not just fictional things inside novels and games, but also started appearing in the real world.

Also, after the rifts appeared, the players of the game [Real Life Online] also started manifesting their game characters into the real world.

Ken opened his eyes, the cellphone on his hand vibrating because of the alarm.

After he turned off the alarm, he got up from his seat and headed to his bed with the helmet-like thing or the headgear in his arms.

So he face his mother and ask, "Mom, do you have a gold coin?"

"Don’t worry, mom. I will just try what I can do!" I told her, to ease her worry,

"Thanks mom, I will do my best!" I was happy because, now I will be able to make much more than yesterday.

After we finish our food, I volunteered to wash the dishes, and told Mom to just relax in there. When I was putting the washed dishes to the rack, I notice a fruit, on the top of another rack. I inspect it and then grab it to show it to my mom.

I went to the living room where mom is in. I hold up the fruit the look like a grape for her to see and I asked,"Mom, whats this?" I said while tilting my head,

Mom look at it and said," Oh you found that already? I was going to surprise you with that later but, it’s okay I guess." She said and pause, then continued,"That is a magic fruit, a fruit that is differentiate that on other common fruit is that it have magical energy inside it. It can be use to strenghten the magic of whoever eat it." Then she grab the grape like fruit, and continued,

"But this one is of a low grade kind fruit. I can only buy this one because we don’t have much money, so I’m sorry okay?" she said with a sad expression on her face.

When I saw that I felt the love of my Mom for me and told her, "Don’t worry, Mom. This is more than enough for me. You don’t have to worry about money, I can just make it until we beclome rich!" I said with a little tear in the side of my eyes.

My mom smile at me, and rub my hair.

After that episode, I tried to multiply the fruit because mom said that is was pretty valuable. But this time, there is nothing happen, I just depleted my mana. I hyphotesise that it was because this one contain mana inside of it, and with it it will need much more mana to multiply it than the coin and currently I don’t enough mana for it.

So, I put my focus on the gold coin. Just like that I multiplied many gold coins, and whats more, it just comsume a little more mana than the gold.

Starting that day I put my focus on practicing my magic and multiplying gold coins. Then a week pass by, I take out the magic fruit to try and multiply it because in this week my mana increase much.
