Zed is a 18 year old poor man from the Island country of the Philippines.

He grow up as a poor person but doesn’t want to stay as one when he grow old.

With that, he always tell himself that he should work hard and study well so that he will have a good future.

But... sadly, he caught a disease called "P-body disease". It is a disease on the brain where no matter how motivated the person is, he will always procrastinate.

One day, when he saw one of the puppy from the bunch that their family dog gave birth to a while ago acting weak and not eating for a whole day he become distressed.

No matter what they do, the dog just lay on one corner and even refuse to open its mouth.

Zed decided to stay beside that puppy for a whole day feeling sad a he can feel that the end of this dog is nearing.

In the end, he can’t help but start praying.

’Lord God, if you can hear me, please save this poor dog.’

He did not beat around the bush and just stated his prayer.

When he opened his eyes and look at the side, he saw the puppy... still weak and seems like it will die in just a few more breaths.

His heart can’t help but ache watching this. He closed his eyes ones again, helplessness written on his face. He just let it be and just sit beside it waiting for it’s end.

A mechanical voice sounded from his mind.

He suddenly opened his eyes and and look around him and saw that there is no one. It is not possible for someone to hide near him cause he is in an open space.

Then he noticed, there is a transparent blue screen hovering in front of him. Zed is someone who loves to read web novels and he knows of things like system or just plain old goldfinger.

He look at it and saw that it looks like a character creation. It is showing different characters like warrior, mage, priest, archer, ect.

He only look at it for a few seconds cause there’s not a lot of profession in it anyway.

But he was fascinated with one of them.

In the world of Fizuna, children at the age of 8 can go to the church to check the skill that they possess.

In the small town of Lezan, the morning is just starting and the citizens are waking up after a night of sleep.

Luther woke up covered in sweat, while trying to catch his breath as if he ran away from a rabid dog with all his might.

The first thing that the panting Luther did was touch his body specially that part of his chest where his heart is placed.

After doing that, he let out a sigh of relief.

"Phew~ I, I almost thought I died!"

He plops back down his bed and stares at the ceiling.

But not even a 5 seconds passed before he suddenly froze again.

Then he hurriedly sat back up and looked at his surroundings.

Dilapidated walls, old and creaking bed, termite infested ceiling, and a broken wooden door.

Luther felt strange, everything around him seemed unfamiliar but also familiar at the same time.

Ulo City.

In one of the classrooms of grade 12 students of BanCo College, Yohan looked at the teacher in front with boredom.

Yohan sighed before turning his eyes away from the teacher and looked out of the window.

It was at that moment when he saw a small girl, only barely reaching 5 feet in height, passing by the hallway.

She has golden brown hair that reaches just past her shoulders, skin as white as milk and a very pretty face.

Anywhere she goes, people’s eyes subconsciously turn to her, like a light in a world of darkness.

Yohan followed her with his eyes until she disappeared from his view.

Yohan’s eyes lingered in that direction where the girl left for a few more seconds before he let out a sigh.

Night in A City,

The city is still very bright and energetic despite it being night. This is because, just like in any other cities, night life is starting. Vibrant lights from different establishments are shining brightly in the deep of this night.

Workers are leaving their company after a whole day of tiring work and go to some place to drink and have some fun to relieve their building up stress. Some people that just plainly want to have some fun without stopping are already drinking at some bar or dancing in a club somewhere.

The blasting music is deafening as the party goers do not care about anything and just closed their eyes to dance to every beat that the DJ played.

Bartenders are serving drinks to those who wish to get drunk or just have a little bite on their bodies.

Men are searching for their target tonight as they walk around the club and fixing their attire to the best they can to add some "pogi points" or to look more handsome or presentable at the least.

While the night life is still bustling and booming outside. Some houses are already silent as the people are already sleeping after a tiring day.

Then there’s Saturn street. In this silent street without any hint of people or stray animals there is an apartment building where a person with great capabilities is residing.

The man that I’m talking about lives in room 308. A room that is said to have ghost and evil spirits living inside it. A reason that caused the apartments low number of tenants. But we don’t care about that.

Inside room 308, lights from a screen are brightly lit while the lights in the room are turned off.

*Sfx: Tun tunun tunun tun*

You can see from the screen that have a [Game Over] written on it that the one playing it just lost the game. The sound of the game is filling up the small place that the neighbors can probably hear, well that is if he has a neighbor.

Because of the rumor that a ghost is in this room, the other rooms close by are all empty. The building owner can’t do anything about that and can only sigh as even she doesn’t know how that story about a ghost came to be.

On the sofa, a man who is covered with a blanket while holding his phone is lying down.

He got soft looking white hair that looks like clouds, deep black eyes that will make you fall for it if you look at it too much. He has a handsome face that will make the girls go after him like an idol.

So this man is Patrick. He is a 19 years old high school student that just likes to laze around and do nothing for a whole day just rotting in some corner of his house.

Patrick also likes playing games that are very obvious just from the consoles and game CDs laying everywhere.

At the moment, he felt bored after playing for so long so he thought of talking with other people through an app on his phone. It is an app that lot’s of gamers use to communicate and talk about things from games and other entertainment.

Patrick swipes through his phone as he hops from server to server. Watching the chats from different people around the globe go up and be buried by other messages.

*Yawn*

Patrick yawns as he puts his hand to cover his mouth while still lurking through the servers. This is his past time most of the time, just lurking on some server watching how things go and what conflict would arise. He finds it entertaining to see different qualities of humans, either having fun together or clashing their different views on the internet.

"These people are boring and..." mutters Patrick as he leaves the server that is talking about bl. He looks at the other servers at the side and finds it hard to choose where he should lurk next.

Ugly Fat boy in his 2nd year of high school suddenly got a magical screen in front of him, above the screen there is something written in bold letters, "UNIVERSAL CONVERTER"
