Love Command: Darling, Do You Yield?-Chapter 128 - 129: Pleasing Her 1
Iris Harris looked at Lady Hyde’s expression, feeling a bit puzzled.
Somehow, she sometimes felt that Lady Hyde was hiding something.
There was a hint of restraint and sadness in her gaze, but whenever their eyes met, Lady Hyde would hurriedly look away.
This sort of situation has happened many times over the past ten years.
She knew that everyone has their secrets, and she didn’t intend to delve deeply, especially since Lady Hyde had been good to her over the years.
She didn’t want to press for answers.
Regarding matters between Brandan and her, Lady Hyde had done nothing wrong. She was even always grateful to her. Without her, it might have been difficult to get close to Brandan.
Even if things have turned out like this between her and Brandan, it has nothing to do with Lady Hyde.
She was just thoroughly disillusioned with Brandan.
Iris Harris comforted Lady Hyde, then went to the dining room to have a bit of breakfast, and then planned to go out.
Lady Hyde sat on the sofa, gently supporting her head. She looked deep in thought. Seeing her leaving, she opened her eyes and looked at her, asking, "Iris, are you going out?"
Iris Harris nodded, "There’s nothing to do here, I want to go out for a walk. I’ll be back in the evening."
Lady Hyde softly responded, "Then I’ll wait for you to have dinner together."
Iris hesitated for a moment, wanting to say you go ahead and eat first. But seeing the slightly pleading look in Lady Hyde’s eyes, she felt a bit reluctant in her heart. She really couldn’t bear for Lady Hyde to blame herself. It was Brandan who did wrong, it really had nothing to do with her.
She never blamed her for anything.
With a gentle sigh in her heart, Iris Harris nodded, "Okay, we’ll have dinner together when I get back."
Upon hearing this, Lady Hyde obviously breathed a sigh of relief and smiled, "Then go have fun."
Iris Harris acknowledged and left with her bag.
On the sofa, Lady Hyde slowly withdrew her gaze, clenched her hands, her slender eyebrows slightly furrowed, revealing a hint of a restrained expression.
That secret, she had kept for ten years, always believing she could keep it hidden.
Iris said she didn’t blame her, but would she really not blame her after knowing the truth?
But she couldn’t say it. By now, she could only let the errors run their course... she feared Iris couldn’t handle knowing the truth.
Thinking of this, Lady Hyde couldn’t help but wipe the tears from the corners of her eyes.
She said she regretted it, and she truly regretted that a one-year difference back then ended up harming Iris Harris for a lifetime. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
As Lady Hyde thought more, she grew sadder, unable to help but lean on the sofa, softly choking with sobs.

Brandan Hyde sat in the office, looking at the documents the secretary had handed over.
"Boss Hyde."
Outside the door, the executive assistant walked in, softly calling him, "Miss Harris went out."
The man, who had been looking down at the documents, raised his head after hearing this sentence, glanced at him, and asked nonchalantly, "Where did she go?"
He was really scared by Iris Harris’s private leave yesterday, so today, he especially positioned countless informants throughout River City, keeping an eye on Iris Harris’s movements to prevent her from leaving without notice again.
He wouldn’t restrict her freedom in River City, but leaving the city was not allowed. If she wanted to go somewhere to play, he could accompany her.
He knew their relationship was already very bad, but he couldn’t help it, he couldn’t think of any way to please her.
Flowers, roses, diamonds, jewelry, as the former CEO of the Harris Clan, Iris Harris had probably seen all too much of these; ordinary things women liked might not catch her eye.
And she might even disdain them.
