Love Command: Darling, Do You Yield?-Chapter 164: What are you doing here?
As her hand loosened, Iris Harris felt her phone being snatched away by Viola Harris. With a loud "bang!" it was fiercely smashed to the ground, shattering instantly.
"Click—"
There was the sound of a door opening from outside.
Iris felt a sigh of relief in her heart, but in the next moment, the world spun as Viola was lying beneath her...
Before Iris could react, she heard Viola’s aggrieved voice: "Brandan, help me! She’s trying to hit me!"
Hearing the footsteps slowly approaching the door, Iris closed her eyes, seriously wanting to strangle her in front of Brandan Hyde.
She really underestimated her!
Not only had her phone been smashed, but she was also falsely accused.
Brandan Hyde opened the door and saw Iris Harris pressing down on Viola Harris.
The blankets on the bed had fallen messily to the floor, and pillows were scattered everywhere, looking especially disheveled.
He frowned slightly, walked over to pick Iris up from the floor, and placed her on the bed. Viola sat on the floor, crying sorrowfully, "Brandan, she hit me! I just came to see her, and she hit me for no reason! Look at my face, there are still marks from her slap!"
Iris sat on the bed, watching Viola act, expressionless. Viola, under her gaze, felt very pleased.
Indeed, the older the wiser, no matter how smart Iris was, she couldn’t outplay her.
"I know you resent Brandan for swapping you for me last time, but I’m innocent! I didn’t want to be kidnapped either; Brandan was just worried about me, so he made that choice..."
"Shut up!"
Brandan’s voice rang out coldly.
Viola choked, raising her head to stare at him in shock.
"What are you doing here?"
He frowned, his tone deeply impatient.
"Brandan, Iris is sick, I came to check on her..."
"Didn’t I tell you not to come looking for her?" Brandan grew more annoyed, grabbing Viola’s arm and dragging her up from the floor, throwing her out the door. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
Viola stood at the doorway in disbelief, watching as Brandan coldly closed the door on her, her whole body turning cold and shaking with anger.
What did Brandan mean by this?
She was being "bullied" by Iris, and yet he still kicked her out?
Did she misunderstand something!!
Brandan turned around, picked up the pillows and blankets from the floor, placing them back on the bed. He saw the broken phone, paused, picked up the fragments, and said to Iris, "I’ll buy you a new one tomorrow."
Iris looked at him but said nothing.
Brandan walked over, sat on the edge of the bed, and gently held her hand.
"I know you hate her," he hesitated and said softly, "but you’re sick, you shouldn’t do such things."
A hint of surprise appeared in Iris’s eyes as she looked at Brandan, seeming to find his actions somewhat unbelievable.
"I’ve already broken up with her." Brandan looked at her seriously, "I won’t meet her again. From now on, you’ll be the only woman for me."
Iris slowly lowered her eyes, wanting to pull her hand back, but Brandan held it tightly.
"I know I did something wrong," he said in a low voice, "but I’ll find a way to make it up to you."
Iris’s delicate eyebrows slowly furrowed, wanting to say she didn’t care whether he broke up or not, but Brandan’s gaze on her made it impossible for her to say it.
