Love Command: Darling, Do You Yield?-Chapter 181 - 182: Parting is Imminent 3
After a moment, Brandan’s voice came from behind.
"Do you still want to be discharged?"
Iris was taken aback, turned her head to look at him.
"If you want to leave, we can go home tonight."
"..."
Iris’s eyes widened, scrutinizing him, as if wondering what he was up to.
"Yes." She nodded without hesitation.
No matter what Brandan meant or why he suddenly changed, being discharged was always a good thing.
She was tired of the endless drip bottles and being confined to the bed.
The hospital air was always stuffy, no matter how much air freshener was sprayed, no matter how long the windows were opened for ventilation, there was always the pungent smell of disinfectant.
Brandan looked at her nodding and actually smiled. Iris’s heart skipped a beat, thinking to herself that this guy might be testing her?
After all, she had previously tried to run away from him once.
The man stood up from the chair, bent down slightly, then reached out, and Iris felt her body lighten as Brandan lifted her from the bed, holding her in his arms.
Iris’s expression froze slightly, and she instinctively wrapped her arms around Brandan’s neck, looked up at him.
"Then let’s go home."
The man said faintly, and then carried her out.
He really agreed to let her be discharged?
Iris was both surprised and puzzled, just recently he had security guards at the door to stop her from running away!
But after once falling into the sea, he actually changed?
Iris was very confused inside, she bit her lip slightly, trying to guess Brandan’s thoughts, but found that she didn’t understand what he was thinking at all.
It seemed like it was always like this.
In this life, she never understood him.
Every time it was like this.
When she thought he loved her, he traded her for Viola; when she thought he hated her, he went to great lengths to keep her.
Like a capricious child, doing whatever he wanted without any reason.
Perhaps this too is one of Brandan’s spur-of-the-moment ideas.
But even so, being discharged was a good thing.
"Brandan?"
Lady Hyde saw Brandan come out of the ward, still holding Iris, she stood up from the chair in shock, "Where are you taking Iris?"
Brandan nodded slightly at her, "Help her with the discharge procedures, I’ll drive her home."
"Dis... charged?!"
Lady Hyde was extremely surprised, "In her condition, how can she be discharged? Didn’t the doctor say she needs..."
Brandan’s eyes darkened, he didn’t say more, just left with Iris.
Lady Hyde took a few steps after them, then stopped, and said to the nurse who hurried over, "Room 403, handle the discharge procedures."
The nurse left, and Lady Hyde stood there, frowning lightly. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
Brandan said the bone marrow had been found.
But if it’s found, shouldn’t they start preparing for Iris’s surgery? Why take her away?
She always felt a trace of unease, things weren’t as simple as Brandan said.
Brandan was exceptionally silent today. What exactly was he hiding from her?
Lady Hyde clasped her hands tightly in anxiety, feeling she understood Brandan less and less...
Everyone at the Hyde Residence had deep thoughts, she always thought Brandan was open with her, but now she realized, in his bones, he was still a Hyde. If he wanted to hide something, he’d never say even if it killed him.
