Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 730: Dinner Out
William didn’t really remember, but he still politely smiled. The shop owner was waiting to be introduced to the two other people in front of her, but Lazarus seemed insensitive. He just enthusiastically thanked her and told the others to continue eating.
Madam Memi, the owner of the shop, asked permission to return to the kitchen because there were still many customers who had to be served.

Lazarus ate the food quite heartily. It seemed that the tavern they were visiting was his favorite place.
"If you like the food in this tavern that much, you should visit with Aimee," Ronan said after putting down his cutlery.
"Oh, of course I will! After we come back from sailing, I’ll invite her to eat here," Lazarus replied casually.
"So, what made you not bring Aimee along? It’s very strange because you always wanted to be with her," asked William curiously.
Lazarus just chuckled before answering in great detail.
"Tomorrow is Aimee’s birthday. I want to give her something. Actually, I had prepared a present that I bought in the capital, but I forgot to bring it so I wanted to buy her something from here. I know someone who has various special items. I once gave Ronan one for his birthday."
Ronan tried to remember what item Lazarus had given him on his birthday. It didn’t take long for him to remember it because the man’s present really caused Ronan to experience great joy. Words alone wouldn’t be able to describe it. Moreover, he still kept the thing well and would put it to great use again later.
However, Ronan felt a little worried upon hearing Lazarus would give the same present for Aimee considering that Kael was quite an overprotective older brother. If the man knew Lazarus was going to give his sister a piece of alluring lingerie, Ronan was sure the man would burn it on the spot and forbade Aimee from wearing such clothes.
"What kind of present did you get?" William asked Ronan as he turned to the man.
"I’ll tell you later." Ronan glanced at Irene who was listening to the discussion of the three adult men in front of her. William seemed to understand the meaning of Ronan’s eye gesture. Perhaps it was something that wasn’t suitable for minors to hear.
Irene just stayed quiet. A birthday... Right, she should give Aimee a present too. Before, she only celebrated her birthday with her father in the middle of the cold forest with leftover food given by the werewolf clan. Her father then would ignite fire on a tree branch and asked Irene to blow it after making a wish.
Her father said every time someone celebrated their birthday, people would always give a present for the birthday person. That was why her father always brought her a bouquet of the wild flowers that Irene would take care of until they naturally withered.
Even though they were enslaved and her father was always working, her father would always be there on her birthday night.
Thus, as her father had said, Irene also had to prepare a present for Miss Aimee who had taken good care of her and been her teacher. But, what should she give? In this kingdom, there were no wild flowers like in the forest of Birwick. What could she give to Aimee?
After a while, they finished eating. Irene started to feel cramps in her lower stomach when she stood up. She held it in so her brother wouldn’t worry. If her brother found out that she was in pain, then they would go back to the Naval Base and Irene couldn’t get a present for Aimee.
As Ronan had promised, Irene was invited to buy the various fruits in front of the tavern. The merchant who was looking after the stand earlier had left his sister alone.
"Miss, is your brother around? We want to buy the fruits," said William.
Irene clutched her stomach in pain. Her face turned pale, and she began to break out in a cold sweat.
"My brother is buying dinner. What fruit would you like to buy? Even though I am still young, I know how to sell. I also understand money and how it is calculated, so you don’t have to worry."
William chuckled at the child’s barrage of answers. Ronan then told William to buy all kinds of fruit available. He also wanted his wife to taste it later.
"Wow, quite a lot. All right, I’ll count in a minute," said the child, who then gave the price to be paid by William.
"These fruits look fresh. You are not from Northendell?"
"Yup, we are from Nieverdell. We heard that this harbour is the biggest harbour of the four kingdoms, and my brother wants to sell all our harvest here. We actually visit Northendell quite often. It feels just like yesterday since we lived in Northendell, but it has already been over a month. After selling all the strawberries, my brother didn’t want to go home right away, but kept looking for additional money by working odd jobs there."
"Your brother is a hard worker, huh?" William asked as he received his change.
"Yup yup! Even though he’s not my real brother, he works really hard for our family. After returning to Nieverdell, he brought the village’s harvest, selling them here. We have been living here for more than one week, and we will return after all the village’s harvest is sold out."
William nodded. "What’s your name?"
"Peach, Sir."
William took out a gold coin then handed it to Peach.
"Now, Miss Peach. Thank you for your hard work. This is a tip from me. I Hope you guys can sell your harvest a lot in Northendell."
The child’s face lit up, and she gladly accepted the tip given by William.
"Sir... this is a lot. Thank you very much! Thank you very much!"
