Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 781: Meeting Another Nieverdell’s Girl
"Little things like this," William answered simply.
He didn’t want to be killed by Ronan for telling the Queen what the man had been worrying about all this time.
Arielle and William spent a lot of time talking together. Two of Northendell’s knights also joined them. Arielle had not seen the knight guarding her before. These two knights didn’t mind showing their faces to her.
Arielle tried to get closer to them by asking about their day to something more personal. Both of them did not hesitate to tell the story of their lives.
One was a man who recently got divorced because his wife had an affair, and the other had not married because he fell in love with a noble daughter and the woman’s father did not approve of their relationship because he was only a knight.
"But you are a knight with a high position!" said Arielle, who didn’t understand why the woman’s father rejected a proposal from a great man like the man in front of her.
"Umm... they want to marry their daughter to another noble family. Knight is never considered a noble."
"Isn’t Kael’s family also from a family of knights?" asked Arielle.
William nodded. Kael’s father was a military commander during the reign of King Arthur and after retiring, Ronan gave him a title to honor his contribution.
Northendell was a place where commoners became nobles, and nobles became commoners.
"Ah... I don’t know. I’ve given up. Even if I’m not married, I’m fine." 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
Arielle felt sorry for the man. His love was hindered by the blessing of the parents of the woman he loved.
Their conversation lasted for hours. Lucas also joined in. The five of them sat in a circle on the floor, talking about their stories. They only went back to their room when people continued their party inside. The liveliness made Arielle uncomfortable.
Lucas brought food for Arielle before the queen fell asleep to get rid of nausea that was coming back again.

The party on the ship was unlikely to stop in the meantime. The music was still heard through Arielle’s room. The girl was just about to sleep.
After eating a little of the dinner brought by Lucas, her nausea rushed back again, making Arielle decide to just lie on the bed. However, the music from the party made it hard for her to fall asleep.
Arielle tried to find a comfortable position by moving her body to the left and right, but she still couldn’t be at ease. She then went out. Perhaps Lucas heard the door to her room open because when she just stepped out of her room, the man was already standing by the door.
"Is there anything I can help you with, Your Majesty?" Lucas asked.
"I can’t sleep."
"Is your room hot?"
"Not really. I don’t light the fireplace. It’s just that I’m having trouble sleeping and want to get some fresh air so I can sleep.
"Then, allow me to call William to accompany you."
"You’re enough, Lucas. Just come with me."
Lucas looked into his room and then closed the door. They no longer wore thick coats. Only a thin coat to cover their body and hair from the night wind.
The party had completely moved inside. Only a few people enjoyed looking at the starry night outside.
Arielle sat on a bench. Lucas stood a little farther away, but Arielle quickly pulled the man’s hand to sit beside her.
The night in Thebis looked much brighter from the daytime sky of Northendell. The resplendent stars scattered across the sky reminded Arielle of the glitter of jewels. They were breathtakingly beautiful and colorful.
However, for Arielle, Nieverdell’s sky was much more beautiful. The stars were much more than this and usually, the moon would shine perfectly without being covered by clouds.
"Nieverdell’s sky is much prettier," someone said.
Arielle lowered her gaze and saw a girl standing near the railing of the ship while looking up ahead.
Arielle got up to approach the girl. She stood beside the girl while following the direction of her gaze to the sky.
"Have you ever been to Nieverdell?" asked Arielle.
The girl glanced to the side, looking at Arielle from head to toe.
"Yup. I come from Nieverdell."
"Oh? Are... are you the one selling strawberries?" Arielle asked upon remembering Lucas saying that the merchant selling strawberries was a young girl from Nieverdell.
"Right, do you know me?"
"My friend bought strawberries from you a few days ago."
"Ah... that man...." said the girl who looked back and found Lucas, the man who forced her to sell the remaining strawberries even though it was going to be her lunch. However, the money offered was also not small, so she just accepted Lucas’ offer.
"I’m also from Nieverdell," said Arielle, making the girl surprised.
"Oh really? You’re also from Nieverdell? Do you trade in Northendell too? You’re going back to Nieverdell, aren’t you?"
"No-no ... I’m now living in Northendell with my husband."
"Oh, you’re married to a Northendell?’
Arielle nodded.
"How could that be? I had only been in Northendell for a few weeks and already wanted to give up. Why don’t you take your husband to live in Nieverdell? That place is warmer," said the girl.
Arielle just laughed. Of course, she couldn’t tell the truth.
"Yeah... That’s how it is... I’ve slowly come to like Northendell. The people are so warm that I don’t have to feel cold all the time. Northendell is like my own home."
The girl looked at Arielle with a strange look.
"By the way, what’s your name? My name is Peach. Are you going back to Nieverdell too? I will be happy if I have new friends during the journey. There are rarely women on this ship, while my brother is a quiet person, not fun to talk to."
"I’m Ari," answered Arielle, while accepting Peach’s hand.
"Only Ari?"
"Yup. Only Ari."
"Which city are you from? Maybe we live in the same place. I can visit you when you come back to Nieverdell."
"I’m from the capital."
