Lustful Demon King: Summoned by the Demon Goddesses!-Chapter 157: Current Plans!
The administrative core of Aeternum Noctis had a very quiet atmosphere, and even when Jax arrived, it didn’t welcome him with massive fanfare, but instead with precision.
Layered security sigils pulsed in disciplined intervals along vaulted corridors of dark crystalline architecture.
Mana channels flowed beneath the floor in structured geometric patterns, carrying information, logistics updates, resource distributions, population metrics, and military readiness data in constant circulation.
Nothing here was ornamental. Everything functioned. Every surface reflected deliberate governance. Every breath of air carried the quiet weight of responsibility.
And at the center of this vast operational nexus... Waited the Administrative Chamber built specifically for the Demon King.
Jax never really planned to use this place often, but he very much appreciated the gesture of what it represented.
The room was immense, yet not imposing.
Tall windows of translucent mana-crystal overlooked tiered segments of the capital, each layer glowing faintly under structured night illumination.
Strategic projection arrays floated in suspended rings near the ceiling, currently dormant but capable of rendering real-time territorial mapping across entire continents.
A long obsidian table occupied the center, inlaid with adaptive runic channels that responded to command authorization.
Jax spotted Sabrina as he entered the room, and the Succubus Saintess was carrying a composed elegance that balance refinement and authority in perfect proportion.
She wore a long, tailored professional cloak of deep midnight violet layered over structured ceremonial attire, the fabric threaded with subtle mana-conductive filaments that shimmered faintly when she moved.
The cut emphasized both regal presence and functional mobility, fitting someone who commanded systems rather than simply presided over them.
Her silver-white hair flowed smoothly down her back, partially gathered by a crystalline clasp etched with administrative insignia. Her posture was flawless. Her steps measured. Her presence vibrant yet controlled — like a living current of disciplined energy.
But what distinguished her most... Was the way her gaze immediately softened when it settled on him. She approached without hesitation and bowed gracefully.
"My King."
Jax turned fully toward her. She truly had changed since he first arrived in Terra. Confidence no longer borrowed from devotion alone. Now it carried experience of all the work she had done successfully for him.
He smiled faintly as he saw this, "Sabrina."
She straightened, her eyes attentive and bright. "You called for me. Is something urgent?"
"Not urgent," he replied calmly, "But definitely important."
Her expression sharpened slightly with professional focus.
"Understood."
He gestured lightly toward the central table, "Before anything else... report."
Her lips curved almost imperceptibly upward.
She moved beside the table and placed one gloved hand gently against its surface. Immediately, layered magical projection arrays activated, soft light unfolding into structured visual data displays.
Agricultural zoning maps. Climate regulation overlays. Water channeling networks and more.
Sabrina began speaking without hesitation.
"The agricultural expansion project is progressing ahead of predicted schedule with the help of the Witches sent by Willow," she said smoothly.
A rotating terrain model expanded between them, displaying multiple developing cultivation regions across controlled zones surrounding the capital.
"Initial land stabilization was completed three days earlier than projected. The Witches under Willow’s supervision successfully neutralized residual environmental corruption in all designated primary fields to make them suitable for farming,"
Projection layers shifted.
"You will notice here," she gestured, "We have implemented a dual cultivation system rather than traditional singular crop rotation."
Jax’s gaze followed the data streams.
"Explain."
Sabrina’s eyes brightened slightly. She enjoyed this part, "Standard agriculture would be inefficient given the unique mana saturation levels of our territory. Instead, we are developing synchronized growth fields."
Two layered models appeared, one physical, one energetic, "Primary crops will grow in conventional biological cycles. Secondary cultivation involves mana-reactive flora that stabilize ambient energy density and prevent soil overload."
She glanced at him briefly, "This ensures long-term sustainability without requiring continuous purification intervention. It allows us to maximize our efficiency in layman’s terms,"
Jax nodded once as he heard this.
"Water infrastructure?" he asked.
"Fully regulated through controlled elemental circulation channels," she replied immediately.
"All early-phase supply projections indicate we will achieve internal food independence within eight months," she concluded.
Silence followed. Jax studied the layered data for several seconds before speaking, "Well done."
Just two words. But Sabrina’s aura flared warmly with unmistakable satisfaction. Praise from him was never casual.
She bowed her head slightly.
"I am honored to serve."
The projections dissolved at her command, the chamber returning to quiet illumination.
She looked back at him expectantly.
"...If this was not the primary reason you summoned me... may I ask what is?"
Jax’s expression shifted slightly, "I came to see you," he said.
That alone made her pause, but before she could question that statement Jax continued, "And to request something."
Her posture straightened immediately, "Anything, My King."
He met her gaze directly.
"I want to meet your people."
The words landed gently but carried immense weight. Sabrina did not react immediately, not because she didn’t understand, but because she understood exactly what he meant.
Not formal council meetings or leadership assemblies, her people, the Standard Demons.
The Orcs, Goblins, Trolls, Centaurs, Succubi, Incubi and more, the Clans who supported him the earliest, and followed him completely that were under her leadership as the Clan Leader.
Her throat moved slightly as she swallowed, "...You wish to visit their territory within the Capital?"
"Yes," Jax said with a nod.
A warmth spread slowly through Sabrina’s chest, deep and overwhelming in its sincerity. Her smile grew as she finally responded, "It would be our greatest honor," she said softly.
Then her expression shifted into focused efficiency, "I will personally escort you. Preparations can"
"No need for preparations," Jax interrupted gently.
She blinked once as she heard that, a bit surprised, "None?"
"I want to see them as they are. Living naturally,"
A slow understanding dawned in her eyes, "...Understood," she said quietly.
Her voice held emotion now, "Then allow me to guide you properly."
She stepped closer, her cloak settling elegantly around her form.
"The Standard Demon territory is integrated into the lower central districts, but its internal structure differs significantly from the rest of the capital. Social organization, energy expression, and communal activity patterns are... more fluid."
A faint playful glimmer touched her eyes, "You may find the atmosphere... lively."
Jax smiled slightly.
"I expect nothing less."
