Chapter 105: Chapter 105

Camilla already heard about how Winter and Sebastian looked so harmonious as they walked side by side this morning, complete with Winter who hugged his arm as if they were truly in love.

On top of that, Isabella said that she saw Sebastian grinning happily as they walked as if he was the one who got smitten by love.

Thus, she was already on her way to the Goldmine Realty, wanting to see what was truly happening between her super useful and important son, and that useless dumb wife of his.

She refused to believe that Sebastian would be in love with Winter. Amongst all the women in this world, it would be so stupid of him to love a dumb, old, useless widow.

However, she could believe it if Winter was in love with him. After all, which widow wouldn’t want to have a younger, hot Latino hunk as a husband?

Then again, sometimes Sebastian could deviate from the path that Camilla set for him.

When that happened, she had to beat him up into submission, until he stopped fighting back.

’This reminds me of the good old days when he was just a toddler. I guess even if he has an adult body now, I still have to beat him like always,’ Camilla thought. ’This is to straighten him up, of course.’

She was in the dark at first as to why Sebastian and Winter looked so harmonious together until Cindy called her and gave her a piece of super important information.

’Just as I expected. There is no way Sebastian would be in love. He is probably catering to Winter’s need because she gets sticky knowing she would earn a lot of money,’ Camilla sneered. ’Everything is according to my expectation, as always.’

"What should I do, Ma’am? I’m so angry right now, ugh!" Cindy groaned as she felt the physical pain whenever she imagined Winter being so damn rich with a super hot husband.

"Calm down. My son will indeed be rich after this project he had, but that doesn’t mean Winter would enjoy the same privilege. My son is not an idiot who would give all of his money to a woman who’s not worth it," Camilla said.

"Y-you’re right, Ma’am. There is no way he would be so stupid to give everything to Winter. It’s just so unfair, right?" Cindy was appeased after getting an assurance from her future mother-in-law. Just as she expected, Camilla would always find a way to calm her down and assure her that she would be the clear winner in the end.

She just needed to be patient, and let Winter and Sebastian’s marriage crumble right in front of her before she slipped into Sebastian’s life.

"T-then, what should I do next, Ma’am?"

"What should you do next? Hmm..." Camilla wanted to say that Cindy should kill herself because she barely had any use for her, but she maintained her fake kindness and said, "You should calm down, and let me do my thing. Sebastian already dislikes you with your very bad first impression, so you need to take the backseat right now."

Of course, Cindy wanted to take a non-subtle approach. Cindy wanted Winter to see how blatantly better she was compared to her, but since Camilla told her to step back, she had to do it.

"I’ll get back to work then, Ma’am. Please help me, so Sebastian will not be taken by that bitch," Cindy said. "If you need my help, just call me, alright? We... we are going to be in-laws in the future after all..."

Cindy hesitated when she uttered the last sentence, afraid that Camilla wouldn’t take it nicely. But to her surprise, Camilla simply chuckled and said, "Alright then. I’ll do my best to wake my son up from Winter’s bewitchment."

Beep.

Cindy pocketed her phone and returned to the secretary’s desk in a much better mood.

’Just you wait and see, Winter. I will make a name for myself. I will be known as Mrs. Saenz in the end!’

Camilla sighed as she hung up the call with that useless piece of shit. She had been trying her best to be patient, but Cindy truly pushed her buttons, especially when she said that they would be in-laws in the future.

"What is wrong with her brain? Why would she think someone like him deserves to be my in-law?" Camilla questioned Cindy’s sanity but decided to just bear with it and kick Cindy out once she found a suitable replacement to be Sebastian’s new wife.

She entered the lobby and talked to the receptionist who looked so anxious.

"Mind telling me what is happening?" Camilla asked. "I heard that my son and his wife have a meeting with a very important person."

"Y-yes, Madam," Isabella said as she checked the guest who came for a meeting today on her computer. "His name is Lucien LeBlanc. He came for a crucial meeting. That’s the only thing that his secretary told me."

Camilla already got a little information from Cindy as well, so she wasn’t all that curious about that information. "Well, why don’t you show me where the meeting room is? I’m going to talk with my son."

Isabella flinched when she heard that.

She got worried, knowing Madam Camilla’s personality, she would probably make a fuss in the meeting room.

Camilla already read what was on Isabella’s mind, so she scoffed and said, "I’m not going to ruin anything. I’m just curious as to what kind of man would make such a huge impact on Goldmine Realty. Besides, it’s been a while since I saw my son. I miss him."

Isabella wouldn’t trust this woman as she knew how poisonous she could be.

However, she also had no right to reject her request.

Thus, she nodded and then led Madam Camilla to the meeting room before returning to the receptionist’s desk. ƒree𝑤ebnσvel-com

Camilla stood outside of the meeting room. It was closed off, and Camilla wasn’t stupid enough to barge in right now. She wanted Sebastian to do well with his work, so in return, he would be even more powerful and useful for her in the future.
